This is a combined TTC thread for EVERYONE currently TTC. Whether you're a first timer, a many timer, or an old timer come on in and pass the time as we struggle through WTO and the dreaded TWW.
As this is a combined thread there will be talk of LC, losses, and IF struggles. If any of these are hard for you please just let us know in your first post and I'm sure the lovely ladies on here will be happy to add TWs to accommodate.

Month/Cycle: 7/7
Timing: Good
CD/DPO: 30/14
Symptoms: None
RRCS: My temperature dropped this morning and I am expecting my period in the next day or two. I am extra disappointed because my EDD this cycle would have been May, when my kid would be turning 3, and I had always thought I'd want them to be less than 3 years apart.

Month/Cycle: We are on cycle #2 trying for a second baby after having an ectopic (and my tube) removed 7/3.
Timing: TBD. The app I use says peak days are next Wednesday-Saturday so we shall see. I’m trying to decide if we should go EOD or every day.
CD/DPO: I’m on CD3 today
Symptoms: none
RRCS: I’m also struggling with the timing factor. Before the unexpected ectopic we had hoped to be having an April or May 2020 baby. I’m really type A and have to let the timing out of my head. With one tube now, I’m just nervous it’s going to take awhile and that makes me frustrated.

We did take two months off and now I’m thinking maybe we shouldn’t have. I also know that we did that for my mental health so I know in the end it was the right decision. I just keep telling myself it is ultimately out of my control.

Month/Cycle: 9/7 - 2 losses since starting TTC
Timing: n/a
CD/DPO: CD9
Symptoms: n/a
RRCS: I’m going to start actually temping this month. In the past it has made me more anxious but I just need to make sure we are really hitting my FW. I usually get cramping and spotting at the time I assume is O but want to confirm.

Month/Cycle: 4
Timing: if I get my crosshairs tomorrow like I think I will...-1, -2, -4
CD/DPO: 17/2 (I think)
Symptoms: none
RRCS: a friend announced her pregnancy a couple weeks ago, and my sil announced hers on Monday. While I'm happy for them, it really bummed me out, especially sil. She has a son 3 weeks younger than mine, so I'm feeling super jealous that she is pregnant and I'm not. I also really wanted a spring baby, and that probably won't happen so I've been throwing myself a pity party and totally get the disappointment everyone is feeling.

Month/Cycle: 3
Timing: not good
CD/DPO: 24/11
Symptoms: I couldn't resist and tested this morning- BFN; will test again Monday.
RRCS: My cycles have been so different each month, and I'm having a hard time getting timing right. I'm going to have to start temping, which I should have been doing all along.

Month/Cycle: 1 or 2 (first full cycle after IUD removal) Timing: errrrryday CD/DPO: CD 10, positive ovulation test today so probably ovulate CD11 or 12. I used to O on CD 12 (or around), when TTC 1+2 Symptoms: Well I feel sick but definitely not pregnancy related RRCS: I've gotten pregnant 3 times on my "first" try with my ex, (lost one), my current partner knows and I'm a little worried he'll feel less-than if I don't get pregnant right away. I know it's a little irrational. Damn my big mouth mentioning that EVER.

My PCP ordered some bloodwork so I am refreshing the portal anxiously waiting for results. Update with results!! I've been refreshing all day and so far only have FSH which seems to be within normal range. She also ordered different tests than what my previous PCP and then RE had done so I'm not sure what all that will mean. She initially wanted me to call the OB to see if she wanted to run some labs but then agreed to do it now since I was getting blood drawn for other stuff anyway and I was on CD3.

I made this appointment with a new PCP pretty much when we started trying and was hopeful I'd be pregnant by the time it came around. No such luck and she thinks I should give my OB a call.

*waves hello* Glad to see this board is still active! I'm danib, been around since TB and all the in-between. I mostly hang out in my BMB and just post sporadically elsewhere. I have 2 boys August13 and O16 (though N16 is my home), plus 1 loss and Unexplained Infertility.
Month/Cycle: 1
Timing: TBD
CD/DPO: CD 11
Symptoms: n/a
RRCS: DH was only home 5 days this month and left again this morning. We managed to hit 4 out of 5 days so I'm crossing my fingers that I O in the next day or two. My cycle is super inconsistent since getting my IUD removed so it may or may not happen. He'll be gone for at least a week, so there likely won't be another opportunity for this cycle. His schedule plus out fertility issues makes TTC a little difficult, but we're hopeful.

I was also an A13 (although not super active, and I continue to be mostly a stalker). I have an A13 (boy) and March 2016 girl. TTC#3, just got my IUD out at the end of July! Month/Cycle: 1 Timing: Great CD/DPO: ooh I don't have my app in front of me, I think I'm 10DPO Symptoms: A few, kinda bloated, eating a lot.. can easily be explained by just being me though. RRCS: I am going to a huge camping party this weekend. I still don't know if I'm testing before or after. Or during. It's going to be wild, and there would definitely be questions if I weren't drinking (which I'd only pass on if I had a positive test). So I'm still undecided on that front.

boots did you have the same SN? A13 was such a massive group anyway. Did you join either of the FB groups? My SN was slightly different but close enough (I shortened it after the move because it contained my last name and I learned internet security lol)

FF gave me dotted CHs today. I'm not entirely convinced it's accurate, but if it is we had pretty great timing.

7 DPO with good timing here. I’m just waiting for AF or a + HPT. I’m training for a half marathon for October. If AF comes I’m going to keep training and actually sign up for the half. If I’m pregnant then I’m not going to run it. While I’d love to be pregnant this is going to be the 1 month I’m not going to be as sad if AF comes because I’ll have something else to look forward to.

Already on CD3, last cycle was a bust. I had all the feelings, then bam. 23 day cycle. Is that something to bring up to my doctor if it continues?

I actually had a short one myself two months ago. But if it became a pattern then yes. I also second magaroni about temping. It would be really beneficial to know which phase of your cycle is short, as it would mean different things.

Hi! New here to the TTGP world. I am in a same-sex marriage, my wife has been TTGP for the past 2 years, with no luck, so we just changed to me TTGP. We have 1 DD, who is 4, I carried her. Month/Cycle: 1 Timing: Good. We inseminated on Sunday (CD11), we will today (CD13) and then depending on symptoms, we will Thursday & Friday (CD15 & 16). I normally have a 28 day cycle, but there are some that are longer, so we are inseminating later to account for a 28-33 day cycle. I am on CD13 today and I haven't had any EWCM yet, so I don't believe I have ovulated yet. CD/DPO: CD13 Symptoms: None RRCS: I don't know what this stands for I am in a weird headspace. For the past 2 years, I knew there was a possibility of me TTGP, but I never really processed it. So - even though I *knew* this was coming, I still wasn't expecting this feeling of OH SHIT I may be pregnant again. I always wanted to be pregnant again, so it's not that, it's just....I wasn't expecting it. Also, I am almost 38, so I feel sort of panicked at my fertility health. Just keeping my fingers crossed we can get KU relatively easy. I got KU the 1st cycle we tried with our DD, so while I know that isn't realistic for this time around, I am still secretly hoping.

I'm on CD20 and what I think is 4DPO but my chart is wonky and FF isn't giving me CHs yet. All my bloodwork came back normal by the way and we've decided to keep trying until we hit the 1 year mark and then reassess.

allthekristys , good luck! RRCS stands for rants/rave/chart stalk. ETA: How is your wife handling the decision for you to start trying? That must be hard on her as well.

allthekristys , good luck! RRCS stands for rants/rave/chart stalk. ETA: How is your wife handling the decision for you to start trying? That must be hard on her as well. Thanks! I think she is handling is surprisingly well? Much better than I would be. Honestly, I think the TTC for her was much harder - she was feeling really beat down every cycle not being successful. She was going to a fertility doctor who was monitoring her cycle & she was taking clomid & all that - so we knew exactly when she was ovulating and timing was always spot on (she was seeing the doctor for the last 6 cycles of trying). Mentally, she's made the shift. I was very careful to let her lead the way in terms of when we switched to me - I didn't want to take anything from her. Even though she did want very much to carry a child, she has said that what's most important to her is that we have a 2nd child. So, I'm sure she will have a mixed bag of feelings as we go through this next phase of the journey....but I do believe her hardest part, emotionally, is behind her. Just on Sunday, as we were driving to inseminate, I was talking about how I was kind of in shock and still processing things...and asked how she was doing - and she said 'GREAT! I made the mental shift last month when I decided I was done and I haven't looked back.' She's pretty honest with herself, and open, so I do believe she's in a pretty good place. Thanks for asking
