I need snack ideas. I have to eat something every hour to keep my nausea under control and I'm running out of ideas. I'm so sick of all my usual snacks. Something easy and quick to grab is a must. What are your go-tos? I don't have anything exciting, but my go to snacks are: - Hard Boiled Eggs -Hummus and Cucumbers -Cheese and Crackers - Fruit -Greek Yogurt - Rye Toast (I know this isn't a snack really, but I have been eating a lot of it trying to keep my stomach happy!) I gotta try cheese and crackers. Crackers plain have been too dry for me, but I think adding cheese would definitely help

Morning ladies! I am just sitting in a massage chair getting a pedi with my hubby. Also trying to plan out what we're going to do for the long weekend, it's going to be so nice it so hopefully we can do lots of outdoorsy things.
Does anyone take there littles to fireworks? I feel like D would love to see them... but letting him stay up until 10 scares me hah

What are your go-tos? My kids' Goldfish crackers haha! I also love ProMax protein bars, they aren't chalky at all and have a ton of protein. They satisfy my sweet tooth cravings. But her bedtime is at 7, and I would be paying for it big time if I let her stay up that late. Definitely not worth it to me yet. We'll reassess next year

I have my NT next week and I'm so nervous. I will feel so much better to know that this baby is looking healthy! It's hard to not entertain worst case scenarios until then.

pinkcat Yay for a good ultrasound! Don't even worry about 1 day behind. Baby is so small right now and 1 day behind could literally mean your doctor was only off on his measurement click by the tiniest of margins. maddisonrose We are taking DD (just over 2) to see fireworks for the first time this year. Her bedtime isn't until 8:30pm though and typically she does ok staying up later. I think it's really kid-dependent. Remind me how old your LO is again?

I had a ROUGH morning. So much nausea. I'm in the phase where I need to constantly snack now, so I'm appreciating the timing of all these snack suggestions! I'm really excited about my 4 day weekend, not so excited the nausea hit hard right before it.

DD still naps around 2 hours a day. On the rare days that she skips her nap, she is a nightmare in the evening and asleep for the night by 8pm at the latest. I would vote no to fireworks unfortunately in that circumstance.

It's totally weekends like these where I miss drinking! I've pinned like 18 mocktail recipes on Pinterest but still not the same. I'm basically salivating watching MH drink a beer

DS has always been really scared of them so we were never too worried about it, but today he was like "mom I really want to watch the fireworks!" Lol, go figure. We'll have the Rider game on TV so hopefully there's enough fireworks there to appease him haha.

My nausea has been hitting hard right around when DH goes to work in the afternoon and leaves me alone with the one year old. Not a great combo. He is being super demanding today and right now he's gonna have to be satisfied with cheerios in the high chair.
My parents get back from two months of traveling tonight. I'm so, so happy. They are super helpful with DS, especially since DH works evenings and it gets boring and lonely.
The only annoying thing is that I haven't told anyone I'm pregnant and don't intend to until my first u/s on 7/6. It will be a week of unconvincing excuses about why I'm not drinking, why I'm so tired, etc. As of now, I've told my sister that DH and I are taking a month of drinking as a cleanse type thing. I can tell she's side-eyeing me because that is totally not DH and I at all. I'd kill for a glass or two of ice cold white wine and she knows it!

Super fun part of pregnancy: Feeling like garbage a lot, and hating that. Occasionally not feeling like garbage and then being super stressed about it. "Shouldn't I feel awful right now? Did I feel more awful yesterday? Does that mean something is wrong???"
I'd like to fast forward please.

Saw the OB this morning (yaaayyyy physical... ugh). He found LO's heartbeat with the Doppler! I feel so much better and like this might really be happening.
Also, DS got a haircut last night, and he looks like such a little boy! Where did my baby go? Sniff.

marygracerich I hope you feel better soon! How many weeks are you? Also don't stress about weight, you have to do what you have to to feel better in the first tri. It will all balance out 🙂 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks. I am 12w.
