When I was pregnant with M I met a sweet old couple at the hospital. They had 2 sets of twins 2 years apart (so 4 that were 2 and younger!!!). And of course mom had the second set just in time for dad to go off to war. I can't even imagine.

I woke up in a panic thinking I'd overslept for our ferry...which we will be on Saturday. I guess I was mentally trying to skip past work. I'm the only one here today. Shocker.
I've been rewatching Stranger Things with the girls starting with the first season. They love it but those little turds watched a couple episodes without me yesterday. They think El is "awesome." Unfortunately it's giving Maddie another reason to want to shave her head.

Our school district was awarded a grant for the 2nd year in a row for free breakfast, lunch & dinner! Woo hoo!
Now if I can convince M to eat at school...

DH took the girls to the fair early this afternoon. Sounds like they had a fun time. DH decided that we had to go school shopping this afternoon...so I got to go on my first outing. It wasn’t super pleasant but it was ok. I’m laying down now with a heating pad on and probably won’t leave my bed except to use the bathroom.

Wish me luck, my parents are coming to the beach tomorrow. I have barely spoken to my dad. I picked tomorrow because DH has to go home for a work thing and DH won’t talk to him at all. My younger sister and her H and kids are coming too so that should help. My older sister doesn’t talk to him at all.
In other side of the family drama, I got an invitation to my niece’s bridal shower. Love that niece but the SIL I talk to will not be invited and the one I don’t talk to will be. I haven’t talked to her since I was pregnant with T. I figured they’d be at the wedding but DH will be with me, I forgot this whole shower part where I have to go alone. I don’t want to be that ass that tells her bridesmaids not to sit us together but they probably will since we have the same last name. It’s also the same day as my class reunion and my niece lives near my beach house so I will be running all over the state. I guess I have to be sober for the shower then get wasted at the reunion.

Can you bring DD with you? I don’t think so. The save the date for the wedding only said Mr and Mrs and shower invitation was only to my name. The wedding is a Sunday afternoon, DS1 has a hockey tournament in another state and DD has state sectionals for gymnastics that day. I thought wedding would be near my beach but of course it’s neither near the beach or my regular house. Should be an interesting day. |

School doesn’t start till the 22nd, we have plenty of time. |

I picked up E early and we went to the science center then to his school bbq. They were doing face painting and he got a wonder woman crown because his friend had one. He even wanted the blush cheeks and blue eye shadow. I love the kids there that know this is acceptable.

Oh and E's beta fish died last night but we haven't told him. He is sad about my old car being gone and about SD and about saying goodbye to friends at daycare. We are going to tell him in the morning right before he goes to breakfast with the in laws. That way he can be sad and then distracted

I’m not sure what it consists of but I can ask one of the moms whose son had it last year. tgrimes and klong11 Hi! I just caught up. C was fine. A little bruised but ok. I’m in my busiest time at work and freaking Trump is likely doing an astronomical budget cut that’s thrown us in to panic mode trying to figure out how to cover salaries next fiscal year which starts 10/1. Katie, I’m just catching up. I’m only a text or call away day or night. 🤗
