Infant, Toddler, and Preschooler Check-in (8/7)

Age: 13 months
Milestones: He cut one of his upper teeth the other day
Challenges: Sleep. Always sleep. I keep reading about kids who sleep 12-13 hours a night at his age and I'm so jealous!
Funny/cute stories: He'll sometimes stop and just randomly start headbanging. Or if we do it he'll copy us. Yesterday I had Bohemian Rhapsody on and he stopped and started headbanging at the right time. I was like "YES, we're doing something right!"
How are you? I'm feeling very easily overwhelmed lately, and wishing that my parents were closer so that I could just ask them to come get him for an hour or 2 so that I could have a break, or get some cleaning done. Especially with the new meds my doctor put me on, I'm super tired and feeling sick during the adjustment period. It would be nice if I could just take a nap.

QOTW: What is something your kid does that is cute now, but you know won't be so cute when they're older? Needing to be held to sleep. I know it's a bad habit, but I love the cuddles and closeness.
