Yeah, my initial response was a gift card or money, so he could pick something out. But since she was such a bitch, I'd get something that would piss her off. But I'm petty. oh trust me, I want to get the biggest most obnoxious toy. Maybe a giant ball pit. Make it something with lots of noise. |

Also, when I asked SIL if she had anything she wanted/needed for nephew she said, "We don't want toys and he doesn't need clothes so idk. People don't respect our wishes anyway so just get him whatever you want". Oookkkk.... Is this the same person that only wanted $300 white baby onesies? |

I went to Barre and got the windshield fixed. And then the battery died for Safelite.. thankfully there is an NTB nextdoor and they are squeezing me in. I'm bummed to miss the kindergarten playdate, but so so glad this didn't happen on a weekday with the kids.

I made the k playdate and mh had found a dad that was basically his twin, and the wife seemed nice too and their daughter and j were playing together 🙌.
I just confirmed that a friend can come over for the carnival, and now full prep is underway.. we made a box for maps, planning the menu (I had to email the guests to see if anyone was allergic to peanuts per J's request), and making him narrow down his deserts from 3 to one choices.

When we got to Col's friend's house, they ran off immediately. So much for him having any issue being dropped off. This friend will also be at the birthday party this afternoon so at least Colin will know someone aside from the birthday boy. They're both equally excited about getting invited to a big kids party.

School supplies are all bought. Possibly ny least favorite Target shopping experience.
One of my friends dogs went missing last night. My friend and her BF were out of town and the dog slipped the leash for the dog sitter. He's been missing about 24 hours. Friend is back in town so a bunch of us are meeting at 4 to search the area he was last seen.

My Amazon return options now require me going to Kohl's to get free returns. I was annoyed that they gave a coupon for 25%, but excluded all athletic brands, but after searching the shoes, I ultimately found 2 pairs of comfy new balances and Nikes for $20 each for me and my husband's running shoes on clearance too. So it was worth the trip. My credit card is closed for business for the foreseeable future though..
My MIL has been straightening and helping out all day. N was like "someone is washing the windows"😂. She won't say names for some reason and pretty sure she has no idea who she is since we haven't seen her for so long.

Hi girls! Visited North Conway today, crazy busy tourist town, but the kids had fun riding the old train  . Currently waiting for that pizza and siping our drinks while the kids play. There’s a corny live band playing, this is very nice . |

Dropped Cadence off at my Mom's for a sleepover after gymnastics and mh and I are staying the night in San Antonio.
We've walked all over. We're staying in a little apartment hotel in the downtown area.
We've done the Riverwalk, the boat tour, the wax museum and oddities house. I'm beat, but he's ready to go explore more.
This is the most counting my Fitbit has done in quite some time!

We didn't find the dog. :-( The area he was last seen has a walking trail that covers like 30 miles. He could be anywhere. He was last seen at 6:30 this morning.
Evie was a trooper though, we easily walked 2 miles this afternoon, in 87 degree heat. And she complained, but she really wanted to find this dog.
We told them we could come back when the sun set, but she said she has 3 more friends on their way to help.

So, after 4 hours in the ER I’m in limbo. Good news is that my HCG levels are looking good. The ER doc told me that the ultrasound showed something concerning that may be ectopic, but she wanted to OB on call to take a look and give her opinion. So I sat in my room for what felt like forever, upset and trying not to cry. The OB came in, had the MFM doctor look at the ultrasound and they want to take a wait and see approach. My HCG level was 900 today and apparently it has to be between 1500-2000 to actually be able to see anything. So she is going to have me do another lab and ultrasound on Monday.
