I watched 5 episodes of Stranger Things last night, no spoilers, I hope to finish tonight. Work should be quiet today...last night was the ball game I didn't go to. Most people that went either took today off or are playing golf with the customers. I hope to leave early and mow the yard before my dad brings E home.
My step dad is still in the hospital. Infectious Disease came and talked to them and said they won't release him until they figure out the source of the infection, so he may be in the hospital all weekend. I'm glad they're finally working hard to get answers.

A is at an eye appointment and then picking up his sister from band. We have to mow so when he gets back, I'll get started and come in when she needs to nurse. I have to take her to the pedi at 3:45.

Will folders and spiral notebooks fit in a small? Yes, folders and such will fit in a small. M has used a small for the past two years and it fit his folder, a PBK lunch box, and his brown bag snack. Not room for much more. I wanted to get him a new backpack this year that was just a bit bigger and would last a few years for him. I got him an LL Bean one when they were on sale during prime days. |

The one I have for S is starting to tear (pretty good as I got it when he turned 1), and I was debating getting another or getting the large. The small fits his school folder, a change of clothes, towel and when he was still in day care, his sheet and blanket. I haven't put more notebooks in it as he hasn't needed it. My gut is it should be fine for K b/c they won't need all that other stuff (towel, sheet). Is this for H or M? |

I would squeeze in his library book on return days, too. |

Eta: small was fine for preschool, but I think it’ll be too small for K. |

Hi! TGIF!
Early day at work for me. I had planned to go home and do my cleaning, but it’s tax free weekend and I think I want to go see if there are any sales for the boys. I also need a dress for a black tie optional wedding I’m going to next weekend. I ordered two dresses that aren’t in yet, but I may go look at Dillard’s to see if there are any on sale that I like.
I would prefer to shop early afternoon today, than tomorrow when everyone will be out.

tgrimes, n has used the small the last two years for preschool and I just got one for H. I was hoping she could use it for kindergarten, but there supply list says a backpack that is 12x18, which this is not. I’m might try to get away with it since it’s still in great shape and buy a bigger one later if needed.

It's been the longest week ever. This week has been insane at work; it was my turn to be the lead and one of our team members was out sick so I had to take on his cases. I have an appointment for a check-up on my toe today and I really hope I can be cleared from this boot because it's causing extreme pain in my thigh.
Thankfully it sounds like Maddie just has a bad sprain. My mom will drive the girls back either tonight after she's done with work or tomorrow. I miss my kiddos (but I've enjoyed a clean house).

I went and got my lab draw at 9:15 and still haven’t gotten my results. My doctor has been driving me crazy with this. The results come back super fast, she just has them hidden from mychart so I can’t see them until after she releases them. I also haven’t scheduled my early u/s or any appts because she wanted to wait until after today’s lab work. I don’t want them to message me at 4:50 so I can’t schedule anything until monday. Ugh.
