Just work. Whomp whomp. We have a potluck today. I think my version of hell could be recurrent potlucks. There's one guy in particular I need to avoid his food. He frequently leaves food that should be refrigerated on the break room counter for 6+ hours. Ew.

I’m ok. I’m going to see if I can take a mental health day tomorrow. E has not been sleeping well which means I haven’t been sleeping well. I need a break.

Morning. We bought a tree yesterday evening and DH just drug it into our backyard. Then this morning we had a monsoon and the tree was being blown super crazy. I put on my rain jacket and boots and went outside to move it closer to the house. That didn’t really help at all. So then I went outside and moved it around the side of the house, and of course 2 minutes later the rain stopped. I’m going to be paranoid about it until I get it planted, which I can’t do until the utilities are located. Anyways, now I’m soaked and that sucks.

The girls want to go to the pool this afternoon but we will see. Then later this evening I have my work “meeting” at a restaurant and that will be nice.

My first solo outing with all 3 kids. We're at the library. Because the boys cant escape and its air conditioned lol. 3 moms have told me how great I look after they find out shes only a week, so I'm feeling pretty good about myself lol.

inthekitty our adventures are starting loud and hot!!! Apparently they’re are renovating our hotel, jack hammers and everything and I forgot how hot city heat is 😳😳😳! I’ll be happy to get out of the city tomorrow. There’s so much more to do here, but we’re all no good at heat 🤦🏼‍♀️. The kids really enjoyed the zoo this morning and we spoil the rotten with souvenirs:).

mamabear I’m sorry. That sucks. I know the wfh day is not exactly what you want, but it’s something.

Busy at work today. Nothing new to report except my 2yo is wearing me thin in the evenings. Yesterday he basically cried until bedtime for no good reason. Not fun. I don’t remember if M had a phase like this cuz I’m hoping it’s a just a very short-lived phase.

Hi. Nothing exciting here. Our new mattress just got delivered so I’m laying on it to test it out. We went with a mattress in a box (tuft and needle mint) so hopefully it lives up to the hype.

I ordered a new diaper bag too. I wanted something more stylish and less diaper baggy and found a super cute one. Some of the reviews aren’t great so i guess we’ll see.

Kids have haircuts in an hour, then tball tonight. I Might take them to the children’s museum in between since it’s so hot out.

Busy morning here. We has N's 2.5 visit and she is doing well, 93% for height ☺️. The doc said she was being a bit of a threenager and basically wished me luck surviving all the upcoming changes for her with changing classes, j changing schools, and the baby.

Then dropped the kids off, has a meeting right next to their school, and then went back and ate lunch with j before coming to my office.

We booked a hotel for 4 hours into our 6 hour trip to the beach this weekend, so we will leave Friday night and get an extra bit of vacation hopefully. I haven't checked the weather but going to assume it's okay enough🤞

I really don’t know yet.

We do have equity in the house to the point that I would probably end up with $150,000-$175,000, but that’s not enough of a down payment to bring down the mortgage enough on a new house ($700,000 range for some very basic house in need of all the updates around here). And rent is sky high so I would run through it pretty quickly.

I think I will be able to stay here, but it’s going to be VERY tight. Especially with daycare costs.

Busy day here! Took the kids to the beach this morning, came home to do a little work on the backyard, then Josie started taekwondo. She such a chatterbox, and I really think this will help her focus. (And as a super bonus — it’s was $9.00 for the month! We went to a birthday party here on Saturday, and they had a special sign up. Two lessons a week, plus the uniform – no contract.)

Hi, I haven’t caught up and may not. I’ve had vertigo since Thursday and had to go to the ER because I was throwing up so much and couldn’t stand. Good times. I wasn’t able to read, watch tv, really do anything. I didn’t even Prime Day! But I slept a ton. This afternoon it seems to have resolved after my neck exercises so hopefully that is that. I’ll try to hop back in here and there but work is likely going to be nuts going back tomorrow.
