I bought a PlayStation 4 for mh on a lightening deal. His PS3 is so old and is blurry on our new TV. He better not play it too much.. lately it's only when I'm doing school work. His bday is in a few weeks at least.

I may get some new balances I have been eyeing that are on sale, and marpac noise machines are 30% off, so I may pick up one for the 3rd bedroom.

Otherwise trying to get some work done..

I've felt the stinging a few times but have been massaging my boobs alot lol. Trying to keep everything moving so it doesnt lead to that. I think my bras are to tight but once my milk regulates theyll fit fine. So I put in a clasp extender this morning and hoping that does the trick.

All the carpets and couch are covered in baking soda. Have to wait an hour to vacuum. Oh and I dusted everything yesterday to get the ash off. And now I get to do it again to get the baking soda off. That stuff goes everywhere!!! I also need to mop my floors. I have 3.5 hours to accomplish this, get myself ready, pick up the boys and get them ready for pictures by 5... frack. And I've got laundry going. I'm going to need a drink by the time the photographer gets here.

So Dh made the mistake of telling me last night that if I can get estimates to come in at a certain amount to redo our main floor flooring, kitchen gut and new trim for the house, we could do it next year. I’m trying not to get too excited because remodeling always costs more than you expect, but now I’m spiraling and going to start contacting people.

M watched something on YouTube and has been begging for a pogo stick. Yeah.... not a great idea. He actually saw one in a store this weekend that looked like a safer bet for his age. He is saving his money for it.

I’m at work and it’s busy. Also been checking Amazon and the prime thread this morning to catch deals. I have only bought a keyless lock for the front door. Just looking at home stuff and possible Christmas gifts. I need a second Graco 4ever for M2, but it’s not on deal today.

I’ve done the bulk of my work, so hoping to just chill for the second half of the day so I can look to see if there is anything I may need.

My sisters kids watched a lot of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. They used to steal my dads cane and pretend it was a pogo stick. Now S does it too.

Just working and enjoying having the other managers on my team back in the office, even if I have to often ask them to do things that are just part of their jobs. Still beats trying to handle it all on my own. I'm heading back to Calgary next week (after a good 2 1/2 month break) so hopefully we can get ourselves running as a more cohesive group. I don't have time to be playing traffic director on top of everything else!

Colin is off on a field trip to a bounce house/arcade place today. That's after a bouncing birthday party and taking our own bounce house out last night. I'm sure he's having a blast regardless, he's really loved camp so far. And I love that he's spending time with some kids from his school that are a year or two older than him. Between them, the older kids from his after school program, and the random older brothers from t-ball, he's got a few older kids looking out for him at school.

X had his final assessment today, and he did beautifully, of course.

I just picked Atticus up from camp because he had projectile vomit at recess.

I'm mostly in the market for smart home devices this prime day. I got a Nest thermostat from our electric company for $90. From prime I got a ring doorbell and a smart garage door adapter so I can close the garage from work or my bed. And crazy me is looking at electric pencil sharpeners. Woo!

I took the girls to the grocery store with me before lunch because we were out of milk and dumb me decided to make Mac n cheese. They fought the entire time and I was ready to kill them. So after we got home I finished making lunch, everyone ate, and then took a nap. While at the grocery store I bought cotton candy grapes, because they are one of my fave treats that I get once a summer because they are super expensive $4.99/lb. H woke up from nap before S and I and ate the entire bag 🤬. I’m pissed. I have no desire to make supper so I’m going to pick up pizza...and then MIL is getting the girls for VBS.

I'm jealous your kid didn't bother you while you napped. I didn't know that ever happened, it definitely would not happen here... except for MH obviously. Not a lot of naps happen here other than A. It'd be worth the expensive grapes for me (though kids eating grapes not cut up make me nervous).

I know, we’re part of the problem 😜. We did two really short visits; one to the see the Declaration of Independence & one to the museum of American history. We told the kids they would see Elmo because of the big posters everywhere... well not so much, sadly that exhibit was over. We did the natural history and the aerospace museum. Zoo tomorrow in the morning and we’ll see if we can push the top in the afternoon.
