Gosh this board is a little dead right now, what are you working on/have made recently?

Finished this little guy last night! He’s super cute, but I might do the teeth with a different fabric next time, I don’t like how puffy they are. He’s from a free pattern by Sew Desu Ne/Choly Knight and made with Cari Slings wrap scrap on his belly and head.

I've been baking and decorating cookies a bunch lately. I did a bridal shower set last week and this week I just finished a set for DH's 96 year old great aunt's birthday.
My cousin is having a baby so I'm going on vacation next week I can crochet her a bonnet.

I meant to add that it super cute! I've tried but I'm such a bad sewer (sew-er?) Is that a word? Seamstress?

Dramaphile, that is adorable!! The teeth are a bit puffy, but it kinda looks like he borrowed Granddad's dentures, y'know?

Dramaphile, I love the Choly Knight patterns. Felt might work for the teeth next time.

I've been busy getting house projects done, so i havent done much crafting. I am working on a new scarf for myself. I tore out 60ish rows of a differnt pattern that I started amd hadnt touched since december to do this one instead. I love how thick the double kint is.

Dramaphile , I love the Choly Knight patterns. Felt might work for the teeth next time. I just cut out another one with some white cotton lycra that I had lying around. Might put on some SF101 to minimize the stretching while sewing. If that doesn't work, I'll try felt next!

Dramaphile, I love the Choly Knight patterns. Felt might work for the teeth next time. I was going to suggest felt too! I’ve seen a few stuffed toys with felt additions. I’ve been knitting B’s scarf since I finished the baby blanket for my boss. It’s definitely easy enough to work on while watching TV.

I finished a quilt for my parents: and that dino quilt for DS: Now that I have that and DS's quilt done, I've started playing with sewing bowls and baskets.

Some more summer crafting...I've become addicted to making little baskets and things with clothesline rope: This is an experimental coaster and a sticky note holder. I've also done 2 larger baskets, and am working on a backpack. Also working on a surprise for a teacher friend:

I'm on craft and sewing overload. I have so many things I want to do and make and not enough time and brainpower to do them all. I got spoiled for my birthday and got a Silhouette Cameo and Serger and I want to sew and cut ALL THE THINGS. I'm currently working on coming up with a design for a sign for my back gate to remind people to close the effing gate because my dog loves to escape. And I have a T-rex plushie commission I really should be working on. And I got fabric on crazy good clearance to make myself a mesh water ring sling for the pool.

I have a shawl that I am trying to finish, but it's taking forever since it's done with sock yarn.

I started crocheting a baby blanket for a friend over the weekend. Started Friday, and ripped it out and restarted it probably 8 times before I finally got it right. My fingers started going numb last night when i was working on it, so I'm taking a break for a bit and working in my ends.

Thanks. The really fun part of this is the video tutorial I used is in German. I dont speak a word of German. I resorted to turning on the captions (also in German), and typing them into Google translate.

rainbowsockmonkey, that blanket is awesome! I've never seen one like it in crochet - can you share the tutorial?

Im making an epi pen pouch for dd2, and want to put some embroidery on the outside. Im using duck fabric, and was going to put this stabilizer on the back, but have no idea how to use it. My mom gave it to me when i bought her embroidery machine (she never used the embroidery function). No directions in or on the packaging. Anyone have any ideas?

Embroidery is not my thing. I give so much credit to people who can. I tried and just get lost.

Cut away stabilizer is non-fusible I believe, so you need to baste stitch it to the fabric or use a hoop and then cut away the excess when you're done embroidering. Are you using her machine or hand-embroidering? I don't know much about machines unfortunately.
