maddisonrose that's amazing that your boss approved WFH Fridays. That would be my dream!! snowyowl I'm so sorry you're feeling worried. FX it's nothing. When is your next appt? FFWC: since returning to work over a year ago from mat leave I've had 2 days a week WFH. I'm going down to 1 once my DD goes into 4d/wk care to try to look better about work before going out yet again lol. This sounds so amazing!!

I just put Sesame Street on for G. She woke up upset after her nap so I want her to sit and calm down for a bit. Big bird is making her happy. I have no desire to cook dinner tonight. I took out pork chops. I am just so nauseous.

Well DD woke up from her nap completely snotty and miserable. She keeps pointing to her nose and her eyes and saying "boo boo!" Looks like I'm not going to work tomorrow...

Thanks mrsp84! This is so different than our past experiences any advice helps. My dr let me know about the running the shower, but I never thought about using freezer air. He's sleeping now, he typically doesn't nap during the day, so hopefully he can get some good rest in over the next couple days.

So annoyed with myself. I took a pregnancy test today because I thought t might reassure me. But instead it was lighter than my older ones. I know there are reasons that might happen, but I'm definitely not reassured! Swim lessons with our one year old today. It's fun, but for a 25 minute lesson, surprisingly exhausting! I did this. Google the hook effect. How far along are you? I diluted my pee and the line was dark again. I actually remembered your post about this and decided to try it because I couldn't stop thinking about the light test. I decided to do two tests at the same time, one diluted and one not, just to remove other variables like time of day in case the difference was subtle. The difference was NOT subtle. The top test is undiluted, the bottom is diluted. Count me a believer in the hook effect! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

snowyowl isn't it insane? I don't really understand it but whatever. Glad the little science experiment worked for you too. 😊

On the second day of potty training my 3 year old DS. It's going pretty well, he only peed on the floor once and since then has gone on the potty. But we haven't left the house, and I'm kinda nervous about when we do...

But we haven't left the house, and I'm kinda nervous about when we do... PT is different w every kid. I think we stayed home for 4 days or so. Summer is good bc you can go outside. We brought one of those little pottys in the backyard. Sounds like it's going well so far! We are training DS2 in August and I'm nervous/excited. If it works I could be diaper free for 5 months until this baby comes! I've had one in diapers since 2012. Sorry I just made this post about me. I'm so tired I suck today.

DH is on my list. My body is not handling my seizure med increase very well. I ended up napping this afternoon while DS did and I woke up feeling almost drugged. I'm super fuzzy and drowsy. And nausea is back. I called DH and asked him not to work late because I'm not feeling well and I explained it. He's not coming home for another hour (supposed to be off now). I can't even think about cooking supper so for now I got DS a snack and letting youtube parent for me. Sorry, had to vent.

Hi! So sorry for Team Nausea. Knock on wood, my nausea has waned. I keep experiencing sudden, intense exhaustion. yyyyyyyawn. I'm probably going to tell my boss/colleagues about the pregnancy next week since I'll be 12 weeks. I also will feel less self conscious about my blump at that time! I'm going on a bar hopping bachelorette party at 10 weeks and I have no idea what to wear to hide the bloat. Everyone else will probably be in tight fitting dresses and that's just not going to happen. A bachelorette party at 10 weeks yikes! Hopefully it's a situation where you can head home earlier if you feel like you have to.

Not exactly, it's out of town and I'm sharing a hotel room with 3 other girls. But, I'm a bridesmaid and I really love the bride. So I may just tell her what's going on a few days before and try to get some rest before they come back and drunkenly storm the room 😂 Yes, totally tell her before the trip. I'd seriously bring a pair of ear plugs and an eye mask. You will still have fun! Plus everyone is going to feel awful when they wake up except for you!

I am so nauseated. Halp. My house is a disaster because I tend to feel worse in the evenings, so nothing is getting done. This is fine right? Everything is fine. Solidarity LT because this is me. Mornings aren't great, but once 1:00 or so hits, all bets are off. The idea of putting anything into my stomach is enough to make me dry heave. Do what you need to do - and sometimes, that laying on the couch in misery. <3 It'll be over soon, right? Right. That's what I keep telling myself.

Morning! I hope all the nausea leaves everyone soon, it's definitely no fun. Mine is always bad in the morning and again at night so add me to the disorganized house club. We've been putting DS to bed at 8 these days and it's all I can do to hop in the shower and then crawl into bed. My boss gave me the green light to work from home on fridays now for the rest of my pregnancy so im hoping that will give me some more time to tidy up. Is anyone watching big brother??? I missed it last night since I was in bed so early but am going to catch up tonight. So excited! I DVRed the premiere, and am hoping to watch everything this weekend while I slave over grad class work. Love me some BB!

I had grand plans of getting some more work out of the way for class, but that's not happening. DS was up at 2:30, then again at 5:30. I don't think he napped well today, and he's been a bear. As soon as he's out, pretty sure I'll be heading to bed too.
+eleventy to the nausea fucking sucking the lifeblood out of me. At least I'm not puking??

I just went to see The Full Monty with my MIL, BIL, H's aunt and cousin who are extremely reserved. My MIL giggled like a school girl the whole way home. Then as she dropped me off she asked "what, you've never wanted to see the Chippendales?" Had to remind her I have and have been on stage with them.
Awkward.
