I left the house alone to get my favorite snowball and go to the store for a few things. I really just wanted to eat my treat in peace without having to share any of it.

House is clean. Yard is mowed. Laundry tomorrow along with errands.

Our house is fairly clean now too. I'm happy.
I pulled my hamstring the other night and it hurts a lot. I hope it heals quickly.

Guess who's playing at my hometown concert tonight? Baha Men! 😆 Who let the dogs out?!? I would definitely go if I was there. It makes me laugh to see all the old musical acts my small town gets.

Just got home. Totally forgot about the blinds. Anything with reading Sunny41? My aunt has an annual pool party and it’s often the one time a year I see most of my cousins. It was a lot of fun and C had a blast. He was in the pool for 5 hours. He has camp tomorrow but I’m off so he can sleep in. No fireworks for us. We usually don’t anyway because I don’t know where to go around here that isn’t insane. We live next to a town that is famous for their 4th celebrations and people come from other states so the area is a madhouse. I’m looking forward to a peaceful night hanging with the cats. I am off tomorrow and DH was planning to be off but decided to go in for most of the day. I’m secretly thrilled. I’m planning on relaxing and going to the mall by myself. |

We are good. We didn’t feel it much here My dad said he was under the car fixing the shocks when he heard something and got out from under. |

My neighbor has a ride on cooler he just rode to the liquor store and back. I think I need that.

There's a bruesters ice cream truck a block away and I am tempted to walk back after bedtime to get some. The kids got freezepops and lollipops from the parade, so we couldn't stop earlier. |

We had some old fireworks to finish off that M has been bugging us all week about. We did them tonight and M2 was not into it. Most of them were not great because old, but M was satisfied.

A bought a few cheap things for the boys todo before we went to the top of the hill to watch all the surrounding ones. Daddy is pretty much their hero now lol. They loved every thing he gave them. My dogs are safely locked up but both are convinced they're dying... so much crying and whimpering. Poor things.

I did manage to burn the shit out of my thumb lighting 2 sparklers so that's awesome. Huge blister. Now I know why I usually let my husband do this nonsense! |

We usually get acts like that at our fair, but this year they’re stepping up their game and Keith Urban is going to be there. |

Long day. After we got home from the parade the girls and I took a nice long nap. Then to the ILs for supper and some little fireworks. We stopped at our friends that live nearby for a little bit and then back home. We never need to buy fireworks because our neighborhood has quite the display. It’s not organized or anything, there are just a lot of people that shoot them off. We are right at the edge of town so people don’t follow the rules. Our neighbors across the street were outside too so we hung out.
