I have the Galaxy S7 edge and like it, but I also wonder why yours is already taking a shit.

I'm really loving the Galaxy S8 Plus. Like, really loving it. The camera is awesome. I also really like the rear fingerprint scanner (it's very responsive) which I didn't think I was going to like it, and it's the first phone I've had in a WHILE that holds a charge all day even with steady usage throughout the day.
It's also very close in size to the s7 but the screen is so much bigger so it does feel like a bigger phone.

It's also very close in size to the s7 but the screen is so much bigger so it does feel like a bigger phone. My DH just got this and it's really nice. I have a Google Pixel and I looooove it. Super long battery life and it runs really clean. None of those useless apps that come on others that you never use. The camera is great too. I highly recommend it.

I briefly had the Google Pixel XL and loved it. Until it had hardware issues  Galaxy S8 is next on my list if I can't wait until Pixel 2 comes out. |

I currently have a Galaxy S7. I have really liked it. It has a great camera and does everything I want. I have been looking at upgrading to the S8 or S8 plus, which looks to even better than the s7.

I'm pretty loyal to Samsung Galaxy phones so I would just get whatever the newest model is.
I'm a no on the Edge though. I just didn't see the point of the edge notifications.

I've always had galaxy phones as well. I'm on the s7 edge now. H just got the s8 and I REALLY like it and am jealous. He checked out the 8+ but just thought it was way too big.
I've heard good things about the pixel too.

I have the Galaxy S7 and it is almost exactly the same as the S6. I wanted to hold off for the S8+ but was forced to upgrade when I fucked up my screen

I went from the galaxy note 4 to the S8. Absolutely no regrets!
I love that it doesn't have a physical home button. I'm also a hugefan of no app drawer button on the home screen. I like a cleaned up screen so no icons on my home screen. Just swipe up or down to get to the app drawer.
The S8 is very slim and one con is it's very slippery. I dropped it a lot before I put my silicon case on.
It has the edge feature and I'm neither here nor there on that. I wouldn't pay extra for it but it's not as complicated or extraneous as I would have thought. I can send screenshots of how it works or answer questions. [Oh never mind I see you have an edge]
I know nothing about the pixel phones, but between my s8, DH's new LG G6, and BIL's new I-phone 6, there not as much difference between phones as there used to be, and the whole UI is so customizable. The LG has the power button on the back which I can't get used to. But for me I will always use a Samsung because I use S-note for all my sewing projects.

I was raised using Macs and despite working on PCs throughout school and work now, they still make me rage at least 70% of the time. It's not intuitive to me. My SIL and MIL have non-iPhones and MIL will hand me her phone to take a picture and I just stare at like....wut. I technology on as minimal a level as possible. Switching is probably a huge PITA either way. |
