Morning. I’m here dragging so much worse than yesterday. One cup of coffee didn’t do anything. It’s my Friday and I’m so glad. I am not thrilled that Mh will be home with me the next couple of days. Is that bad? I just want to be alone in my house! I know he’ll ask me a thousand questions in those two days. tgrimes that sounds fun! I think I’m going to get M early Friday so we can finally go see Aladdin. I'm seriously thinking about taking a vacation day so I can do nothing...at home, by myself. So no, not bad at all! |

Does the pineapple even work? Maybe she's already on her way and you're just causing extra pain to yourself. It worked with Jack. I wasnt even dilated to 1/2 a centimeter with him on Wednesday. I scheduled my c section for Tuesday the next week. Ate the whole pineapple Thursday morning and was in active labor that night. He was born Friday. And if it doesnt, oh well. I wasted 5 bucks on 2 pineapples. It just sounds like a poop explosion waiting to happen. |

Morning ladies. kim22 man I can't imagine kids still being in school. So many 1/2 days would annoy me. They're a waste of time. When I was a kid we did not have lunch at school on half days. One of my shining mom moments was sending M to school without a lunch her first half day (school is released before their usual scheduled lunch). She didn't have anything to eat so she got hot lunch. Whoops. |

I told her to send her H and the baby and take a day to herself. She was like, "But what will I do by myself in the house all day?" I could name 1000 things. I told her she was crazy. |

Morning ladies. kim22 man I can't imagine kids still being in school. So many 1/2 days would annoy me. They're a waste of time. When I was a kid we did not have lunch at school on half days. One of my shining mom moments was sending M to school without a lunch her first half day (school is released before their usual scheduled lunch). She didn't have anything to eat so she got hot lunch. Whoops. I have no idea why they did so many half days. They are only for kids, not teachers so if I were working this year, that would have been 9 days of finding sitters. My kids do not get lunch on half days. DD usually has lunch at 11:30 but doesn’t get out until 1 on half days so that’s a big difference. I also feel bad for the large population of kids in my city they get free lunch. We did get a letter that they are offering free lunch at 3 schools over the summer this year but they got nothing for these 2 weeks. |

MH just mentioned that he might take that day off. Noooooooo! I have a 4 day weekend coming up as well. My mom is out of town, so I'll have Evie. And H took the 5th off as well. So all 4 of us together for 4 god damn days. Another reason I need to take a day to myself. I think I'm the only one scheduled to work on the 5th. If so I'll stroll in when I feel, take a nice long lunch, and throw up deuces early. MH is not working anymore while he focuses on school. I'm really bummed that means I won't have any days off to myself anymore. He'll be there if I take a day.  |

tgrimes MH is doing the same with the 5th. It’s annoying. nam2013 I don’t think I could continually be with my family for that long. I’m on day 5 here and longing to be alone. I’m looking forward to my hair appointment tomorrow just to get away.

nam2013 I don’t think I could continually be with my family for that long. I’m on day 5 here and longing to be alone. I’m looking forward to my hair appointment tomorrow just to get away. Since my h is a teacher we have this every summer for at least four weeks (which is my normal time of, this year it’s six), we’re sort of used to it because off this. I love it. I mean of course we have our moments, but usually the kids are awesome when it’s just us and we just love traveling. 5.5 weeks at home is a whole other story  . I wish we were brave enough to be one of those family’s that would pack up there stuff and travel for a few months! But I guess 5.5 weeks is a good place to start 😀. |

If I could travel that long, it wouldn’t be so bad, but whatever weeks I was home, the kids would be going to daycare at least some of that time. Momma needs a break!
Later this summer, I’m hoping to be sending Mh to his parents with just the boys so I can have a whole weekend alone at home. Cannot wait.

Cannot even remember the last time I had the whole house to myself. MH took Josie to some special night at school in May and I put Charlie to sleep early. That was the extent of it. But I don’t really like the alone time as much as I think most do. I prefer it when mh is home. He starts a ten week vacation now (today!). We have a few shorter travels trips planned, and the kids have two activities (soccer on Saturday’s for both and swim for chip and gymnastics for Josie on mondays) but otherwise we’re all here. I like that I can run an errand out by myself kid free or finally get to a workout class without scheduling so far out in advance) but mostly I’m happy it’s the 4 of us.

I would love for MH and I to be off all summer together! Especially because I feel like we could give each other breaks... You take the kids to the park for 2 hours while I have alone time. Plus, the extra hands to get projects and such done. Or to be able to take the big 2 kids somewhere and leave Arlo home. Travel. Oh the possibilities...

I'm looking forward to him being home with me after shes born. He has 7 days to use and only works 4 day weeks. So we should get 13 days straight depending on which day I go. I'm sure there are times itll be to much. But we have so much house stuff to do. He needs 6 months off to get everything done lol. |

I need routine. It’s part of why I couldn’t be a SAHM. Too many variables. I also need alone time to recharge and not just an hour here and there. Dh works late one night a week and I have a few hours after C good to bed to myself. I really look forward to it.

Oh and LO said the F word Three times this weekend. Guess where he learned it from. 😬 where? From J from his preschool class. I called an talked with the teacher this morning 2 other students also said the same thing. |

The cousins. Did he get to stay afterall? He did stay but 1 is gone after this week and the other will be there 2 more weeks. So he will have 1 on 2 time with his grandparents |

Hi! Checking in...busy day at work and A had water babies class tonight so quick leftovers for dinner. The dishwasher stopped working for some reason but luckily DH magically got it to run again. Today's out anniversary and got to say it's the first time in 9 years we haven't really celebrated with dinner or something day of. Looking forward to a dinner date this weekend. Speaking of, peachsmama arent you my anniversary twin? I am. We agreed no gifts but he brought home flowers. Saving dinner for after baby so we can go to my favorite boutique Mexican restaurant and get margaritas. Can.not.wait. its 8 years for us ❤ |

I could use some home alone days. My boss recently took off a week to catch up at home and she said it was the best ever. I'd do that if I didn't have to save my leave and I didn't have to drive the kids so far away for pickup and dropoff. Tomorrow we have a plumber coming between 8-12...so we are all staying home🙄. I'm hoping they come at 8 and we can still get in to school..

DD had her check up today. We talked about the stomachaches. It happened again this Monday. It’s been every 4th Monday for the last 3 months. She said abdominal migraines before I brought them up. She said if they continue being once a month, there isn’t much we can do and it will probably eventually be related to her cycle (which better not be for several more years). She said to call if they become more frequent.

We have tried both but she can’t keep them down. The doctor said if the pattern continues or if we can find other signs it’s coming, we can start meds ahead of it. I have always gotten auras with my migraines since I was a kid but the past few years, even before the aura, I feel funny like I can’t concentrate and sometimes my hands feel like they aren’t a part of my body and I know it’s coming. Poor thing. What doctor was the visit with? M has zofran in a tablet form that she puts under her tongue. It’s tiny. M would always vomit the liquid zofran back up. Do you think she could do that at least? |
