Both of the kids have been incredibly whiny, crying messes lately. H has 4 teeth coming in so I'll give him a pass. No idea what M's issue is. The whining has been strong around here, too. B is worse in some ways than C...emotions very close to the surface I'm assuming it's developmental/a phase, but man... |

nam2013 We went whale watching a couple years ago with chrisy01 and Sunny41. I thought all the kids did great! Ah that is awesome! I love whales and the few times I’ve seen them were magical  . |

We did dolphin watching with the kids. It was fun. O definitely had more fun than Z. She wasn’t crazy about it, but she didn’t cry or get sick. Thanks! How long was it? It might have been 4 hours. We had water and snacks. At one point we went to the front of the boat to get really close to the dolphins and Z really didn’t like it. She may have been getting sea sick. Once i took her to the seats in the middle of the boat she perked up. |

I’ve been in the process of lightening my hair for the past month doing a balayage. I did the first and it was ok but we knew it would be a process and it got brassy fast. I did the next one on Thursday and left the salon looking great and did until I washed it Saturday. Now it’s all brassy. My hair salon is closed next week and I can’t be going in for toner every week. I’m contemplating coloring it back to brown because I think my red undertones just won’t budge. Thoughts on what to do? Here is what I wanted  And it looked like that tone wise when I left the salon. It was not quite the right transition but over time it would be. This is what I am now   My mom is a former hairdresser and can likely tone or color me while my salon is closed. I tend to not go to her because she’s stuck in 1999 but if I pick the color it would be ok. |

wedding I did exactly the same, wanting a balayage and it turning out no so great... I had a treatment with some sort of toner and been using a purple shampoo which helps a little bit. I’ve heard good things about fanolo no yellow.

You're sweet to ask. He's doing ok! Still thinks it's 1999 and having some memory issues, but overall good. Starting on liquids today. He wants pizza. It's insane because he couldn't have pain meds til yesterday but still doesn't want any and says he's not in much pain! |

So C's friends from school is coming over this afternoon. I'm kinda nervous! This is our first playdate that I'm not friends with the parent. The mom is super nice and we have run into them at the park and such. Is it bad that my main thing is I don't know if I should offer her alcohol? Lol.

Threw it in when the nurse asked why I'm here. I just want to feel freaking normal again. If you're already there for a problem visit, I think you're good to get everything covered. Yeah, I worked it in and the appointment became all about that. She thinks my neck is fine and nothing to worry about. She is going to have the ultrasound peeps call me to set up an appointment about my abdominal pain though. |

wineallthetime we had our first play date at our house and I was so happy the dad was ok dropping off. I am working on a play date with another friend and the dad does not seem to want to drop off. I don’t think I can make small talk that long.

wedding I've been having balayage done for about a year and have not had issues with brassiness. Seems to me something's getting lost in translation with the color and/or the stylist for it to happen twice. My hair is pretty dark naturally (seems darker than yours) and for that reason I am very wary of going too blonde b/c my eyes and eyebrows are so dark. These were my inspiration pics:  If you're tired of fooling with it, I'd go for a warm, deep brown with maybe some very fine caramel highlights to give it dimension and depth.

wedding, maybe you should ask for cooler tones, rather than warmer. The warm tones have red in them, whereas the cool tones don't.

Morning. The girls are at swimming lessons and it’s actually 75 and sunny. H asked me to set up the blow up pool in the backyard today but I’m not sure if I’m in the mood to deal with it. I might just ask friends to meet us at the public pool instead.
FIL is currently undergoing surgery for skin cancer. It was super close to his eye and nose so they have to have a plastic surgeon there just in case.

flamingo I think if I had done like those pics it would look good but I was going pretty blonde for on a dark chocolate brown that previously had red in it. klong11 she definitely used the right stuff and like i said, it looks good there but turned brassy after the first wash.

Hi ladies. I have 2 meetings at work this afternoon so it's sure to be a productive day. *eye roll* MH had dental work done. I know he's probably not feeling great, but I hope I don't have to listen to too much whining tonight. The other day Maddie basically asked if I'd rather have multiple clones of her or Cass. Of course to her I said I could not and would not choose. Love them both, blah blah blah. But oh man a 1000 times Cass. She's so much easier. At least at this stage and age.  |

High of 68 today. Not the best weather for the public pool outing. I hope Dude still had fun.
My mom is so super excited about planning her wedding and it’s cute. She’s like, giddy. Adorable.

I ended up blowing up our little pool in the backyard. Of course it had holes in it because I got it last year, cheap, at target. I fixed 4 holes and then gave up after that. The top ring kept deflating but it was fine. The neighbor girls from across the street came over and played with my girls for a while. Now I’m sitting in my car at work and will head inside in a minute.
