Today is T’s graduation. We are suppose to drop him at 8:30 then wait outside until 9. It’s raining sooo hard so they better let us in. Then tonight we leave for the beach at 9 after gymnastics to celebrate DD and my birthday’s. Big kids still have 4 more days of school next week. Everyone is so over it already.

Those are beautiful, @nam! Is it for a celebration? It’s St. John’s / midsummer nights celebration. It’s to celebrate inner light and the longest day of the year. The older children (first grade and older) will jump across fiery ashes to signify leaving past troubles behind and conquer coming ones. I realise this all sounds very hippy dippy to you... |

Cute pictures nam2013! It is pouring here this morning. I made it to work before the rain started, but I could see that I was driving into it, and my car kept telling me there was a severe thunderstorm warning for my area. I may have driven faster than I should have so I could make it before the rain started. Nothing much today, just work. I got my groceries last night, so I don't have to worry about that today or this weekend. And we have no plans this weekend, which I'm looking forward to. |

I don't feel like working...it's going to be a long Friday. Same here. I’ve been looking at campground around Woodstock NY for the past hour. Seriously is it to much to ask for a cute farm campground, with some animals, fresh coffee, lush green grass... any and all tips for the whole of New England are welcome!!! |

Cute nam2013! kim22 it's so weird how different the schedules are around NJ. In my town the public schools ended yesterday, and my friend teaches in another nearby town who finished Tuesday. I can't believe you have a whole extra week! |

So I'm taking a bunch of days off over the next few weeks to burn through my remaining PTO. I took yesterday off and had the most glorious day. I ran some errands in the morning, did a load of laundry, paid a few bills, met a girlfriend for lunch, then met S BFF's mom for drinks before pick up.
Wednesday afternoon is S graduation, and then we are having his friends over for pizza and play afterwards. Should be fun! I'm feeling some kind of way about S leaving that school after this. I've had tons of issues over the years, but overall it's been so good for him. We started there at 12 weeks... it's been such a part of his life! He starts camp July 1, then goes straight to Kindergarten... the end of an era!!

Morning! Beautiful pics nam2013. I like the part about leaving troubles behind. Cute! 1 out of 3 patients showed and I’m just about done with him. I have to renew my CPR, so I’ll be doing that the rest of my time here. Good thing about this place is Friday is basically half day. Woohoo! My dad is visiting this weekend so I have a lot of things to get his opinion on about house stuff. I also took vino’s advice and ordered a water slide. It’s not the exact one she got, but same brand and similar. The kids will be so excited Saturday. |

Today is C's last day at preschool. When we come back from vacation he will be in camp with the school age kids. I have to clean out his cubby tonight. He will be at the same place for camp and after school but its a whole different group of teachers and set up for school age. He's all of the sudden growing up too fast.
I spoke with the rescue and they have someone else interested in the pair. I am hoping they don't take them and the cats are still available next Saturday. I think we can make it there after we come back from the Cape.
Work is dead. No one is here. I am staying the whole day though since I am off next week but its going to be hard. I am going to the gym with a coworker at lunch so that will break up the day.

Gorgeous day here, so I plan on going for a walk at lunch. We still haven't decided what we are doing this weekend, so prob nothing which is going to bug me. It's a rare 80 degree low humidity weekend here, and I want to enjoy it! Pretty sure I'm over thinking it though.
J has earned 2/10 of the stickers he needs to go see Toy Story 4 - hoping we get there in the next week or so. I'm going to try coconut water in the smoothies to sweeten them up a bit, he doesn't like them even though they are pretty tasty.

I can't believe you have a whole extra week! What kills us is we use schools for elections and they no longer allow the kids to have school during them so that’s 2 extra days. We also keep adding more holidays during the year. We used to get a whole week in February and now we get 1 day and the year keeps ending later and later. At least it hasn’t been 100 degrees yet. |

We have a preschool graduate! He was adorable. They made posters about the future. It asked where they will live. T wrote our address and his girlfriend wrote “Trevor’s house.” He’s having 4 kids though and she’s only having 1 so perhaps he’s has more than 1 wife in his future?
