lahdeedah aww that breaks my heart. I hope your new 'hood has lots of kids for the boys to play with! Our immediate neighbors are all older (there are young kids a few houses down) but I know they get a kick out of watching our kids play, they always bring over holiday treats, etc. for them. It definitely brings life to our section of the street

eta: maybe it will take seeing this baby in person to decide on the name peachsmama.

Golf camp was a hit, then we stopped at CFA for lunch on our way to speech. B has swim lessons tonight, which is great b/c that means I don't have to swim with him this afternoon. It's almost 100 here...sorry, kid, mom does NOT want to be out in this.

FFMC: I cannot stop feeling like I'm sweating, I have a napkin in my shirt under my right arm. I've already reapplied deodorant. I think I need to switch to men's!

flamingo, funniest part of it all is he is a 60 year old man...
We have worked together for 20 years, and he and I sort of run everything here. Things have been bad (as you all know) and I think he feels like I am abandoning him. Plus, like I said, I am going "to the dark side" so there's a bit of that mixed it. Plus he's probably slightly PO'd that old boss hasn't offered him a new job, but doesn't see that his attitude is what gets in his way!

Everyone if you had a baby girl today, what would you name her? peachsmama needs us. Obviously, I was rooting for Mallory (or not because I didn’t want her name to be popular when I picked it.) If I had a girl today, she would be Brielle Elizabeth (middle name because both my grandma’s were Betty.)

Mallory is still on the list. I hated it with Claire. Not that we've gotten rid of that I may sway that way.

I always wanted to name my daughter Aisling (Gaelic name pronounced Ashling). I’ve loved it forever and there was girl in one of my college classes with the name and I loved it more. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea though.

The girls had fun at swimming lessons and then we came home for lunch and naps for everyone. This evening I finally started getting some things planted in my flower beds. I can’t wait to have something pretty to look at instead of dirt piles.

B’s range is such that he can’t use his driver in our front yard anymore. Of course half the fun is seeing how far you can hit it, but I don’t want any of our neighbors losing windows 😂

Update - j asked mh to be his "home coach", so there is hope.

Lol about golf balls out front. I used to babysit at a house in my dad's neighborhood that is very spread out, and golf balls would occasionally land in the pool😲 from an undisclosed neighbor (not my dad thankfully!). Thankfully never when we were out there!

I had so much fun wedding dress shopping. I haven’t been in a wedding in like 10 years and it was so fun working with the woman who sold me my dress. My friend is one of the magical unicorn women with naturally big boobs and a tiny waist so she looked gorgeous in everything.
