I've been so lazy lately. I just don't feel like doing anything. My house desperately needs cleaned. But I feel like I work so hard on it for DAYS and then in a few hours its destroyed. I'm kinda over cleaning the same thing a million times a day.
I guess I need to go back to cleaning when everyone else is in bed. But that's my alone time and I just wanna chill and watch my shows.

I've been doing pretty good with eating right (I need to do better about getting healthier foods instead of just staying in my calories though) and trying to work out often. MH and I (and the boys) have been going on bike rides on Sundays. We did 9.5 miles yesterday and 16.58 the Sunday before. We won't be able to go for probably a month now though with plans, vacation, baby's bday party.
I have lost 24 pounds since starting March 29. My first goal was to lose 25 by my birthday (6/25), so we'll see if I make it.

Wow, notmoose that is great! I'm hoping that being home will help me loose some weight. At work, we always had people bringing in snacks, breakfast or we would order lunch. Hopefully my waist and wallet will be happier. 😉

We went under contract on our house this weekend! We spent a good chunk of the weekend not in our house because of showings, and I am so glad to be done with that. Plus I have to pack for our trip and was getting super anxious about the mess that would make. Now, who cares!
Hopefully we get an idea soon of how soon we will close. The longer we can stay here, the better. Our new house won't be finished until late October/early November probably. We had a rental lined up ready for August, but I don't think that's going to be ready until Septemberish and at that point I'm not interested.
I think we are going to start at my mom's since she has the most space and see how long we last there. Our relationship has been strained at times and she's at least 30 minutes from daycare and our jobs, so not ideal once school starts again. We have an old family home that we could probably transition to after Labor Day (being used until then) but that requires moving, even with minimal stuff, again.

notmoose that’s awesome! klw fingers crossed! I have a meeting this afternoon that I am not looking forward too. It’s a cross agency meeting because I’m trying to get them to sign an agreement but one of the agencies attorneys is against it. But I’ve provided the documentation that says we can have their Dara. So....I’m just not looking forward to it. I’ve recently moved up in the world at work and everyone likes and respects me but I still feel like a 17 year old who is uncertain of herself a lot of the time. There’s a bunch of non kid related stuff for you!

I hope you get some good news klw! notmoose that's awesome! As far as cleaning, I try to do one chore a day-all bathrooms, vacuum 1 floor, meal plan and grocery shop-to keep it manageable. I was a drop out at first, but now I love it. Of course things like the kitchen and are never-ending and super frustrating.

You guys Charlie was such a handful this weekend. Lots of yelling, especially when he doesn't get his way. He just supppsedly came out of a leap. I was so glad to drop him off at daycare today.

It was a really good weekend. The kids were really pleasant for the most part. James really enjoyed having my dad here. We spent a ton of time outside and drank and ate entirely too much. My dad won't let me pay for anything when he visits, which is a nice bonus.
My OB didn't refill my Lexapro last week even though I called it in several days in advanced. I completely ran out so I'm taking Zoloft in the mean time. I've been even more tired and a little more irritable. I am not pleased with them. I have an appointment on Friday. The least they could have done was called in enough to get me through until then.
I'm really feeling my weight. I started Noom and didn't really feel like it was worth the price for what it was. It's not really all that different from other calorie counting apps. If I can wean Z by August I can join a weight loss trial at the university hospital. It's a big time commitment, but I need something. I can't do it on my own.

The hardest thing for me is I clean one room and the baby destroys while I'm working on another room. So I go back and reclean the first room... while he destroys the second. I seriously clean up the same things so many times a day. Laundry, dishes, picking up, and sweeping is all I have time for. So then things like mopping, dusting, vacuuming get pushed to later... which comes an embarrassingly long time later.

I do better with myfitnesspal and just sticking to calorie goals. That being said, I'm all for whatever works for each individual.

I'm also missing my boys this morning. notmoose, I tried WW too several years ago and again and it wasn't worth it to me either. Counting points isn't much different than counting calories.

DS is finally really moving and getting in to things. It's a big change, and we need to figure out some babyproofing things quickly! He had the tupperware drawer open and was using the bar pulls on the drawers and a ladder yesterday.

I'm bummed about ds2s party. Neither of my sisters are coming, my friend and her kids aren't coming, I highly doubt my dad and stepmom will come. My sil said she'd let me know. My bff hasn't confirmed yet.
So, so far it'll be my mom, stepdad, brother, and my kids and H.

That happened one year for us with DS1's birthday so we just kept inviting more people until we got a decent crowd with kids. I attributed it to a summer birthday and everyone is just so busy this time of year.
I'm sure whoever can make it will enjoy celebrating your little guy's first birthday!

I’m working from home today and the kids are at daycare. It’s really quiet. I’m enjoying it while I can.

We got back from our coast trip yesterday afternoon. It was mostly fun but definitely way way more stressful taking a trip with a baby. I know next year will be easier than this year was and so on. Everyone loved having C there so I'm glad we went. The house we rented was gorgeous and it wasn't too hot so that was nice.

L was a cranky mess tonight at bedtime. I am pretty sure it's just teething, but part of me is concerned he might be developing an ear infection. He has no obvious EI symptoms, other than he is rubbing behind his ear (not necessarily pulling on it), but his sleep has been off the last few nights. He's totally fine during the day, but he has been hardcore fighting bedtime. I'll continue to keep an eye on it and hope that a tooth pops through soon! Otherwise, I might make a pedi appointment for him soon.

We just did CIO and C fell asleep in about five minutes. FX this keeps up. I don't mind rocking him and putting him down drowsy but we can't rock him forever every night.
