Tigger is here! My grandma brought him out yesterday. I took him straight into a flea bath and traumatized the poor thing.. we had the dogs locked out and he hid under the couch to groom himself. I was finally able to get him into his room and he comes out to be pet when A and I go in. But then retreats to his litter box. A is worried he's not happy lol. But hes only been here 15 hours. He needs time to settle. Hes obviously not afraid of us. Just the new environment.

Morning. I may venture to Costco w j and then a tball game at noon and my dad/SM are coming and then going to lunch. I randomly was wide awake at 6, so have been trying to do things around the house, but not sure if I'm seeing much progress despite my best efforts...

peachsmama give him time, he just needs to adjust. Also, do you have a brush? Since he is long hair you're going to want to brush him so he doesn't get hairballs. You might also try playing with him. Fishing rod/string toys are usually favorites in the beginning, they can play without getting too close to people.

Morning! Ds slept until 09.30, and then I suddenly got scared that he wasn’t sleeping because of the crappy night, but because he was to sick to wake up. So woke him, he was happy and alert, just a little weak. So quiet day today, lots of movies, drawing, zoo building & light snacks in between.

Kids are painting, I'm working on laundry and DH is doing some planning for his flight today. I promised to take the kids to Target for bubble guns so we'll do that at some point. I also want to get beignet mix to make tomorrow morning for FD.

I’m up before everyone. I’ve enjoyed a cup of coffee and caught up on some dvr shows. Thank you MIL for recording good trashy tv. Lol.
We have the wedding later, so just trying to keep the kids entertained before then.

Morning and happy weekend!
We are going to my dad's to bbq and swim today. Fortunately the rain is over for the day, until late tonight.
Evies preschool teacher called me this morning, her best friend called and reported head lice. I'm sure it would have been noticed yesterday, but I'm going to get the tea tree oil out this morning.

Morning! We are leaving for a graduation party down by our old house in an hour or so, but right now I am on the deck with a warm-ish cup of coffee.
At the kindergarten orientation, I met one mom who lives one street over from us. She’s been Facebook messaging me about things happening this summer, and just told me yesterday that three or four of the girls who will be in Josie‘s class will be going to one of our local camps over the summer. I hadn’t planned on sending Josie, but now I think I might want to change my mind. I can choose full or half day, and can also pick the number of weeks. I don’t like to do things at the last minute, and I really do hate deviating from the plan, but I think it is the best plan for Josie.

wineallthetime glad she’s ok, hope you can go to bed as soon as the party ends. I took 3 kids to a baseball picnic and DH took the other to hockey this morning . Now we are heading to the beach. Hockey just added a playoff game tomorrow so we will have to come back early. Is it wrong to silently root against your own kid because if they win, he will have to play next weekend and Saturday is my birthday and Sunday is DD’s and it’s official opening weekend at my beach.

Afternoon, friends.
Busy day already; Pete had a blood draw at 9am, J had sportball, B and MH went for a bike ride then to a TRU ‘lego building party’, IDK exactly what that means but I’m sure we’ll have more Lego in the house when they return. I’ve got to grocery shop as soon as they get home, then off to B’s soccer tournament, there will be bounce houses, face painting etc, so we’ll make an afternoon out of it.
My neighbours and I decided that we all need a cold beer with some grilled hot dogs so we’ll be having dinner with them later, it’ll be nice to sit and visit for a bit.

The bride from the wedding I’m in next spring just told me there will be a combined bachelor/bachelorette party in Nashville in April! What are the chances of that working out with the N13 meet up?

My mil is cooking for fathers day tonight. But we moved it to my house because bil wanted sil and fil to get out of the house.
I do not like people cooking in my kitchen...... I'm staying in the living room out of eye sight.

Also hey.
DH and I went to the city for a surprise 40th birthday party last night and stayed the night. It was a good time and we really had fun together like we used to.
We came back a bit before lunch, then Col had his last tball game and the boys all needed haircuts. I also hacked away more at the bushes and got in a quick workout. Then we went out to eat and sat outside - the boys even let us enjoy our food a bit. But now I'm looking forward to bed - I'm exhausted!!

I woke up with a sore throat and headache. Also my muscles hurt from working out yesterday for the first time in a few months. We had Cs last baseball game and a contractor out for a fence estimate then I napped and did a hair treatment. Dh leaves for NYC tomorrow midday for work so I figure he could use the time with C while I recovered. I feel a bit better but my throat and body still hurt. My brother and kids are staying at my parents so we went over for dinner and C is sleeping over with his cousins. I am meeting them at noon tomorrow at the movies to see Secret Life of Pets. I’m so excited! I hope you got some rest wineallthetime. And I hope your boy is doing better nam2013. |

Hey. We had a busy day. DH worked this morning and while he was gone, the girls and I went to the mall and flower shop. I got some annuals to put in my front bed. Then it was lunch time and off to a friend’s house for a 3rd birthday party. They hired an Ariel actress to come, which was super cool. She played games with them, danced, read a story did prince/princess lessons and then hung out while the birthday girl opened presents. All the kids loved it. Then the kids played on the water slide and on the swing set. It was a good time. We got home from there about an hour ago, bathed the girls quick and then put them to bed. I’m exhausted and ready for bed myself. I feel like I should stay up though since I’ll be working until 2am tomorrow and don’t want to be super tired there. I could always nap in the afternoon, I suppose.
