I’m heading to Denver today for a work conference. It’ll be weird without N13 there. Do you think i should visit the stripper pole instructor and see if she still has a migraine?!

Morning, soggy day here. I tried to see if a teacher that is begging to babysit is free Saturday night bc our plans changed and she said yes, and then said she did have some plans.. but she was worried we'd never ask again 🤦. I promised we would plan another time..

I'm kind of grouchy with MH, I am clearly nesting bc I suddenly want to paint everything and mh is like why would you want to paint, I'd rather pay someone. I feel like painting is one DIY thing I could actually do without ruining stuff and I do not want to pay. So he's not entertaining me at all. Also he refused to participate in mattress shopping and now doesn't like ours, so he must participate this time. Every time I do something it seems to be one step forward, two steps back. Oh and I called our lender and he's horrified and super embarrassed, but basically nothing they can do, but said they'd help remediate if anything does go wrong. At least I felt heard..

jewels I don’t think i posted the other day but i just wanted to say congrats on the new job and although change is scary, i have no doubt that this is a career step forward for you.


joelies Congrats on graduating therapy. Also, I’d love to see a pic of your results since i did meet you in person. Did you get 20 units in your forehead and the 11’s or additional in the 11’s. I think I’m destined to have an expensive face because i ended up with 25 in the 11’s and i can still see them and make “the face.” Womp womp. Also, you are brave to do under your eyes. I’d be scared since it’s such a sensitive part of your face.

wineallthetime Yikes! Hopefully it's nothing, but I think you're smart to have it looked at. Fractures in kids can be so tricky...C wouldn't walk on hers when she broke her leg and that is how we knew something was wrong. You really couldn't even see the break clearly on x-ray until it had healed.

tallb I'd be frustrated, too...I like painting and feel like I can do just as well as most pros. Can you take the bull by the horns and get started yourself? I did a lot of painting even when I was pregnant, lol. MH is great and always willing to help/do but at that point he worked incredibly long days so it was just easier to do the majority myself.

B is at camp and both kids have dentist appointments today right after pick-up, then we may head to a friend's for a bit so the kids can play.

We are surprising the kiddos with a trip to Busch Gardens tomorrow--weather is supposed to be great and schools are still in session up here so hopefully it won't be too crazy. I can't wait to see how excited they are tomorrow when we tell them where we're headed

Same with Jack. He wouldn't even attempt to bear weight. His was a spiral fracture not a break. You could see it clear as day on his xrays.

Well I'm a jerk. He has a fracture and needs a boot and we will follow up with orthopedics to make sure there isn't a break that shows up after it's healed.

I think time is the issue for us, I don't have much free time for "want to do" projects.. hopefully you can get settled and get some projects done.

flamingo I did pick up paint and supplies for the shutter that is so sad. Figure I can try it and if I screw it up, then we can get them all done again. Maybe I can get it done this weekend and mh will be impressed with how easy it was and good it looks😂. Let's check in Saturday and see how that's going... I am going to ask my SM what colors I can get away with this weekend and maybe my uncle can hook us up with paint and supplies from his store when we visit again.

Last night I was the only adult who showed up to TKD so I got a private lesson. Got to work on my spin kicks which are pathetic. I feel like they would be right up your alley tgrimes with your ballerina self. Guess they were all scared off by the 95 degree heat. Pansies.
