Hi!!!! So I worked 11 hours last night. When Tapatalk stopped working I didn't have the mental capacity to try and figure how to get here until after my nap. Everyone showed up to work today. So that was exciting. I'm back to a normal-ish schedule tomorrow.

I ran to the mall to get H a dress for the 4th. first we checked old navy and they didn't have anything in her size. So I walked down to Gymboree and their store was literally half empty. Tables and racks with nothing on them. The lady at the store said it was because they are making room for new stuff but it seems to me like they might be closing. That's sad. I ended up finding a romper for her at crazy8. I thought gymboree was going out of business. No? They filed for bankruptcy but I haven't heard of any store closings yet.

So that was exciting. I'm back to a normal-ish schedule tomorrow. How has daycare been this week? TW. he had a bad day at our original daycare on Monday. Tuesday we were suppose to use the new daycare lady since dh had a closing shift and I was on overnights. However she called Monday to say she was in th hospital. Her son fell out a window and they didn't know when they would be home. Dh ended up calling out from work. Dh hasn't picked up LO yet so I can't answer yet.

The Gymboree in a smaller mall near us closed this spring (right around the same time as Stride Rite, actually)

I got an email from Gymboree because we had gone to the Play and Music. They said that the PM sife was not impacted by the bankruptcy and that they were for sure closing poor preforming stores but they were not closing all the stores.

There's above recommended radon levels in my new house guys booooo That's really not a big deal. We had it in my house. Sellers installed a fan, retested, all good. Don't stress too much. It's totally fixable.

wedding & tgrimesRadon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas common here. Because all of the homes in the area have sump wells to remove moisture from around the foundation, radon gas can come up from underground and into your home. We'll have to have a mitigation system installed and negotiate with the sellers as to who will pay and how much.

It's totally fixable. Our realtor said we should get a couple of bids tomorrow and then we'll come back to the sellers. The bids should come in under $2,000 to install the system. Then we'll just have the annual cost of maintenance and retesting. I was so sure there wouldn't be radon on the property because the seller has three small children living in the home and some sleeping in the basement.

Our system doesn't even have maintenance or retesting. It was a couple hundred bucks, if that. I just told MH the other day that we should prob retest soon. Tests are a few bucks on Amazon. It can come about. The sellers of our house used the basement as a playroom. I'm assuming it tested negative for radon when they bought the house and the radon developed over the course of them living there, probably the same for your sellers.

I put V to bed 45 minutes ago but instead of sleeping, it sounds like he's hosting some kind of symposium for his stuffed animals.

Odd question, but does anyone have any tried and true wart removal tips? I've had a small one on my pinky since high school. I randomly freeze it so it shrinks but it never goes away. Well all of a sudden it's spreading! I've now got 4 on my pinky.

Had to carry her out kicking and screaming because I wouldn't buy her a snack afterwards (didn't bring my purse.) Screamed as loud as she could the entire way home. So embarrassing!

My upper back is killing me. I am in bed with a very high heating pad on it. If feels so good. Also, I won a pair of Lu La Roe leggings – the Disney ones. I'm pretty sure I'll never wear them.

I'm assuming it tested negative for radon when they bought the house and the radon developed over the course of them living there, probably the same for your sellers. I wish our home was built in a way that only required a fan in the additional ventilation system. Our sump well needs to be capped and a suction pipe added by a specialized contractor. But on the plus side, radon mitigation systems reduce radon levels levels by 99% and the average home has something like levels of 1.3 pCi/L and although the EPA recommends mitigation for anything averaging over 4 pCi/L I've read that it's best to mitigate anything over 2 pCi/L since radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer, behind of course, smoking. And I wouldn't have known all that had my house not tested above EPA recommended levels.

Well all of a sudden it's spreading! I've now got 4 on my pinky. I used those dr scholls circle sticker things years ago. They worked but it took forever. If it doesn't cost a fortune, just get them frozen off. I need to find a dermatologist who will remove skin tags from a pregnant person. I'm totally hitting my high deductible this year, so I want to fix all my problems.
