I’m so tired. I’ve had a lot on my mind and stress the last week and a half. I’ll expand on that here at some point. About every other night, I have bad insomnia and up half the night because of it. Hugs ❤️

I brought N to a Drag Queen Story Hour this morning. It was really fun. They read some great books about being different and yourself. The whole concept has been a big deal in the area because of so many narrow minded people. We had to get there early to get tickets. There’s one near me tomorrow. I’m not bringing E because she won’t want to sit and listen, but I’m hoping they keep doing them!

But I will say that there were lots of littles there and they didn’t sit still either. It didn’t seem to bother the ladies reading or anyone else.

Hi, all. I have 15 minutes left of work and then I am done for the week. I am so glad. I'm so ready to go to the fair this afternoon, too! I think C can ride some of the little rides, and A seemed interested in riding some as well (in the past, she has been scared, even though she is super tall and can ride just about any ride at the fair or amusement parks). I am also excited for delicious food.

We’re having our annual 4th of July party tomorrow so today was full of lots of errands. Our total at Costco was over $300 on meat and booze. I’m already exhausted and the house still needs to be cleaned. Maybe a fairy will come and do it in the night!

Finally out of school for the summer. Gosh that was long.
July is going to be hectic for us with multplie moves in there. Not looking forward to it.
I'm tired. It's my first day of summer and I'm up before 5am. Of course.

What time are your toddlers going to bed these days? DH keeps arguing that we should keep her up later, but I think 7 is perfect. She hasn't been sleeping great lately and that's his reason, we put her down too early. Whereas I think it's because she's been teething, sick or sore from immunizations.

We have a 630 bedtime- he’s a huge grump by then and goes down super easily. If she doesn’t fight that time I say keep with it. For reference DS1 (almost 5) goes down between 730-8. I like early bedtimes because it gives me time to myself in the evenings but everyone has to do what works best for them.

blabbermouth C goes to bed at 6 or shortly after. He gets up around 6am every morning. We tried to push his bedtime back to 7 to see if he’d sleep in later but of course that didn’t work.

Some days she’s doesn’t nap well and is a grump, so she goes to bed closer to 6:30-6:45, other days she can handle staying up a bit later, but most of the time, she’s more than ready by 7. She gets up around 6-6:30 every morning.

Always has been though. DD was always 8ish too but has pushed it back as a threenager.

I pulled the potty seat up from storage into the half bathroom for “practice” since my ped said it can’t hurt. Lol today after DD went potty on the toilet, DS went in and sat on the seat and went poop in his diaper! 😂 at least he knows what it’s for!
We’ve been sick. DS feels warm and yesterday took a 4 hr nap. We will see how today is. I think it’s teething or sickness or a growth spurt.
Contractor is off for the holiday so our remodel is at a standstill for the week.

It was a bedtime she basically set for herself and it works for us! She doesn’t wake up till 6:30-7.

We only recently started 8 pm Alexa alarm for DD1, but it was 7:30 for a really long time.

Hi, all. We are having a nice weekend. We went to the fair Friday evening, and then brunch and beach with our friends on Saturday morning. We all napped yesterday, haha.
This morning we all went to the Y, and H and I worked out while the girls played. Then I went and got a facial and it was glorious!
I am watching the Hills: New Beginnings right now. Lol.

blabbermouth, E goes to bed between 6:30-7. He usually naps between 9-10, sleeps anywhere from 1.5-2 hours, and can be up anytime from 5-6. He also still doesn’t sleep all night. So some nights has ready for bed at 6:15. N goes to bed between 7:00-7:30. He’s up for the day between 5-6 as well.

I put DS1 (4 in October) in his room to read first and he goes in at 7pm. Then N and I read a couple of books on the couch and he is in bed by 7:30pm, sometimes earlier. I would love to reverse it and have him go down first but he won't settle if his brother is running around. My kids hate sleep though and wake up at 5:30-6:00am no matter what day it is. Luckily for us, both kids do pretty well without huge amounts of sleep.

I have asked a few times if he wants to sit. He always says yes, gets on and laughs a bit, and then says down. He is telling me now when he is about to poop or when he has just gone. DS1 never told us. I won't do actual potty training for a while (because really at this age you are potty training yourself, not the kid), but I like getting the idea in his head.

Yeah I’m not at all interested in PT yet.

That's a good sign, that he knows when he's about to go! We bought a potty a while ago because DD was always peeing when I took her diaper off while she waited for her bath to fill. So I thought maybe I could catch one in the potty. No luck, but she's not peeing before her bath anymore. Often during though, haha. She's been walking up from naps dry more often though!

C pees on the little potty usually once or twice a day and often tells us when she has to go or just went. Once she turns two I'm all about that potty training life.

Bedtime is usually 6:45/7ish around here, though some days it does take a while for him to knock out.

Oh hi. I'm super late. But ds2 is in bed by 7 and ds1 by 715. They need their sleep. Ds2 understands more than he can say but is still saying a lot. He has the basics and many words for food too (cheese, milk, waffle, water). He's one of the older ones of the bunch though and ds1 NEVER STOPS TALKING so he hears alot lol.
