I couldn’t get into the chiro until Friday but the sciatic pain isn’t nearly as bad today. We just went on a 3 mile walk with my sister which I’ll probably regret later. That, or maybe it helped loosen things up. N biked the while way which is far for her but broke down in tears a block from my sisters house saying her legs were so tired and it was too far. Lol.
Then she was a little jealous my nephew, who is a few months younger, just learned to ride without training wheels so she practiced on his bike in the drive way and i think she might have the hang of it!

guster what is the duck festival? Seems like every town is a tiny bit different but it the same premise for most — food trucks/stands, games for the kids, music, face painting. The rubber duck is face of the event, and some of the town’s release rubber ducks into the river. You buy a duck’s number ahead of time and the first ten that pass the finish line first garner a prize! |

flamingo you are on top of it with the SLP. Can B do the "th" sounds? J consistently cannot but I wasn't thinking we'd wait and see if he outgrows and if his teacher recommends speech next year. I know I had speech for R and S in first grade.

Work is killing me. On a positive note - I guess? - I have an appointment at the medispa tomorrow to see what they can do to mitigate the evidence of work stress from my face. Woot!

When he is reading his books, he says “the” with a long e, but uses the th right ; but he also says Thursday like Fursday. I usually don’t correct him. |

You can find me figuratively buried under a pile of digital files. Every time I think I am finally caught up with the extras so I can actually get to my main job something else comes in and I'm back to square 1. |

We got the results of our audit at work today and we did awesome! No findings and great feedback. Our Chief was very happy with me and my coworker on the clean audit and all the work we did to prep. He gave us each a letter for our file and a vacation day to use whenever. Very unexpected but much appreciated!

Mh is in a bitchy mood. One of his co-workers quit last week, so there's shifting of positions and titles. Some dude that was under him got a new title, that while it doesn't mean dude is above him it sounds like he is and he didn't get a new title, so he's being pissy. I asked him a question about it and he snapped at me, so I'm waiting for an apology that probably won't ever come.

It definitely goes back to his tongue tie and he's going to have to learn how to bring his tongue to his teeth to make that sound, in my just-knowledgable-enough-to-be-dangerous opinion  R & L are typically later-developing sounds, and he has trouble with both those but that is within the range of 'normal' at this age. So the pedi and I agreed that we could wait 6 months and see, but then we're well into K and 5 months out from moving. I'd rather have him evaluated now and hopefully if he needs therapy it will be done by the time we leave here. |

A friend was mentioning its good to have 504 plans/ evals done before moving because it will transfer rather than waiting on another eval and plan to be put in place.
