We got invited to a gathering later. The invite basically listed all the alcohol they would have. I'm in! I'll give mh the evening to himself if I get some me time this week

We got a trampoline and put it together yesterday. It was dead space behind the garage so now it gets some use. Kids have been sliding into the pool all weekend. I’m sure the grass will be dead by the time we remove the pool tonight.

Hi from the road. it was so hot yesterday that we didn't last long on the beach and then visited my cousin's grandma (I went to the funeral for her husband last month), and then grilled burgers. Today we got to the beach for a bit before packing up.. I'm excited to not share a bed with j tonight, but not excited for going back to work.. also we lost J's new fancy water bottle, hopefully it turns up. Any recs of am insulated kids water bottle that's not $30?

tallb I really like Contigo water bottles for the kids; we don't have it but looks like they make insulated ones. Target is selling one for $20 but WalMart has the same thing for $11 (it's the Sangria color) snoopmommymom Your kids are going to love that! We went to a birthday party recently and they had a trampoline very similar (if not the exact same) as yours. C was *obsessed*. No where to put it in our current yard but maybe next house... I'm sorry tgrimes . Not the way you wanted to spend the holiday, I'm sure.

Jack had a snack and I told him to go wash his hands and face. His face is still dirty so I told him he needed to wash it again. He said "uh, I'm just not that worried about it" oh okay.

tgrimes, she did have a Zofran prescription last year that has run out. She has a check up in a few weeks so I will get a new one. Another 3 hour trip but we made it home. We had both cars so I had T and C and C did his high pitch screech for a good portion of the ride. I took a nap which I never do but days of drinking and staying up late plus being up early with DD caught up with me. DD seems to be fine now. There is a parade that goes by our main house that T was sad to miss that we were able to watch from our security camera.

I'm still so thankful for never being heinously pregnant in the summer. Col's old best friend from daycare was an August baby. So was her little brother. Talk about awful timing! It was always a fear of mine that I would have an August or September baby. X was due 9/1 but they induced me 8/26. It was as miserable as I expected, maybe even more so.

flamingo, a mom at gymnastics told us about the trampoline they had growing up— installed into the ground, so it was flush with the yard. It’s part of my fantasy kids’ yard now.

MH and I fought on and off all day. Very tense conversations (neither of us are yellers). We’re fine now, but I hate ruining a day when we’re all home and we have some nice activities planned.

There's a blog/IG I follow chrislovesjulia and they have an inground trampoline. I must have seen it on their stories bc I can't find to send to you. Is that safe though? Can't they land on the ground and still get hurt? Or reduced risk maybe?

So many things I want to change from paint to floors to furniture. I’m trying to find patience because I want it all done now, but I don’t have that “right now” money. Lol

I know non of you are awake, but I need to vent. Every single time ds get sick, no matter how bad, we’re back to square one when it comes to eating. He hasn’t had anything besides bread and apples for 4 days now. I’m so tired an frustrated of dealing with this for 5 years now. Almost every single meal is a struggle. We tried firm, sweet, tried not to care, which is impossible if you have a kid that is severely underweight and doesn’t want to eat. I think because he can’t control how he’s feeling, he resorts back to controlling what he eats. I cried on my way into work... ugh. Rant over, I’m sorry.
