I'm mixed on packing lunches. I get tired trying to think of what I can pack and usually do basically the same stuff. I like that I know what they ate when I can see what's left. Maddie prefers school lunch.

Also no name decisions here. For boy we kind of like Owen. Girl names we haven't narrowed down at all. I like Jane, Annie, Josie. Mh likes Mallory too, which is a hard pass for me.

I despise packing lunches.
It was pretty brutal when I was doing one for all three kids. I pack lunch for Pete but that’s the easiest since it’s almost always leftovers, overnight oats or a smoothie, some fruit and veggies, and a yogurt.
On Tuesdays, X needs two lunches: one for feeding therapy and the other for school.
Lately Atticus has been buying at least twice a week and it’s amazing.

cagoldi How was the talk last night? Not good at all. There was no yelling involved, but I’m sure that’s only because my mom was there to intervene. I’m going to post an update about the details in the group. Thank you for asking.

Morning. First day of summer vacation! So glad I didn’t have to wake up, get everyone ready and out the door this morning. My sister is dropping my nephew off later to play while she takes the big kids to doctor appts.
I don’t pack anyone a lunch, and I hope to not have to next year either because I don’t like making lunches everyday as it is.

Hate packing lunches here, too. I started buying M two lunches a week at school to make some days easier. I get out of the house a lot quicker when I don’t have to pack snack and lunch.
Lunch will be cheaper next year at his new school so most days he will have hot lunches. Yessssss

Why did I decide to come to work today? I need to be home doing the last minute l, odds and ends before the movers show up. They’re ETA is 1pm and I won’t be home until 1. MH just doesn’t handle and organize like I want. My type A is showing and it’s at a 100.

Do our pregnant friends have any name ideas? I know Peach doesn't lol, slenle ? tallb ? I love hearing names! How about Psalm? The new Kardashian baby. Woof. Cassidy's preschool is filled with K-sounding names. Her poor teachers trying to keep that straight. But the Kardashians could use it for inspiration if they ever wanted to go back to K names (lol, I know that's too simple for them now). Cassidy Kennedy Khalisi Kalista Keyanna Kinsley Dominic Gunner Gabe Re: Khalisi Cats can get an upper respiratory infection called calisi virus (all one word). That’s all I can think of with that name.

C rips the knees of every pant. I am no longer throwing them out and he can wear them to school. He just gets dirty there so why bother. He rips knees like twice a week! Ds has ripped 5 pairs in three or so months, it insane. He wears them to school. It is what it is.

vino , am I the only one who doesn't mind packing lunches (at least for C)? Maybe I pack shitty lunches, but they come together so fast! I do hate packing my own lunch though. I feel like I pack a lot of bags and food on a daily basis so any relief is welcome. I pack: -a lunch kit for B that has a snack in it for kinder, that includes a cut apple/pear that i do in the morning, gets packed in his school backpack -a lunch kit for B that stays at daycare, that needs an icepack cause no fridge -a small breakfast for B - usually blueberry bread toasted fresh in the morning -a small breakfast for J, usually a yogurt, blueberry muffin/toasted waffle and an assortment of dry cereal -a lunch kit for J, no ice pack cause their room has a fridge If the kids are having a sandwich day, i make them in the morning. I send both kids with fresh water and ice in their water bottle for the day, most parents just leave the water bottles there for the week but, ew no. MH packs his own lunch daily that is usually left overs. I bring a massive bag of prepped food on Mondays for work and just take over a crisper in one of the fridges. I feel like a lot of my life revolves around food... Ok, yeah that's a lot!

The girls don't get too many holes in their knees, but Madison is brutal on shoes. She drags the toes when she's on her bike.

I only know the spelling because I watch everything with closed captioning. It would be my guess that her name, with various spellings, have become fairly popular the last handful of years.

I knew it didn't look right but my brain is not on full throttle yet.

I don’t mind packing lunches this year because I’m home but I have said before when working I hate it only because it’s the last thing I need to do at night before I can sit down and relax.

School lunches don’t exist over here. But s packed lunch consists of 2-3 sandwiches with peanutbutter/cheese/deli meat, a bottle of water and a piece of fruit, so easy peasy.

Last night was a belt test for the lower belts at TKD. Since we were actually having a night off I wanted to have a "real" dinner (not by most people's standards). We had corn on the cob, watermelon, and hot dogs. MH said we had turkey dogs, turned out we had a whopping 2 turkey dogs (so enough for the girls) and a whole packet of beef dogs for him, and then the watermelon I just bought turned out to be rotten. So I didn't get to enjoy the first BBQ of the season and instead had a dinner of corn. I at least got some yard work done and groomed the dog but I was annoyed about my summer dinner turning out crappy.

Are they small sandwiches? I give Josie a half a sandwich (as well as minuscule amounts of cut up fruit, veggies, crackers, and dried fruit which also never fully disappears). The only thing she absolutely eats is one small Andes Candy.

Clearly, Josie is my favorite of the bunch, but I think Annie is an adorable name. My college roommate named her daughter Anne. She stayed as Annie until she was a tween and then switched back to her full name.

Cadence gets a whole sandwich, turkey & mayo, nothing else. Then she gets dried fruit, berries, or a fruit cup. If it's a sandwich then she gets a cheese stick or a baby bel cheese. If it is a snack plate thing, then that has cheese, crackers, and pepperoni, so I don't put a cheese in. Sometimes she gets chips, cheez its or graham crackers, depending on what we have. I've tried putting carrot sticks, but it's crap shoot on whether she'll eat them or not. Whatever she doesn't eat at lunchtime she usually asks for when they have snack time.
No peanuts/nuts/nut products are allowed and pork products used to not be allowed either, but they lifted that rule.

Got my stroller. Thing is like brand new. But her car was also immaculate and her dog even freshly groomed lol. Now I just need a baby to go in it! Maternity pictures are June 23rd and then I eat all the pineapple. I'll be 28.5 weeks at that point.
ETA 38.5 weeks 😂😂😂

Do our pregnant friends have any name ideas? I know Peach doesn't lol, slenle? tallb? I love hearing names! We’re looking at older style names to go with N and H but haven’t really narrowed it down much. Dh actually suggested your As name, so that’s on the list. Along with Louie, griffin, and a few others but nothing is standing out to me. Girls names- Vivian, Fiona, violet, and I’m recently liking willow. But again, no front runners.

Great decision slenle with the RV! How fun! I've been overloading myself with RV details because we're getting one, either this summer or next for sure, so tell me about yours, 5th wheel? bunk beds? slide outs? I think it’s 23ft. The table area slides out. A queen size trundle bed in the front that comes down over the sofa. And full size bunk bed in the back. Not too big but just enough space for us for now! I’m geeking out over organization and about to head to target and spend all my money.
