While I was typing Wednesday I realize I pronounce it Windsday. Now I'm 2nd guessing myself if I've been pronouncing it incorrectly my whole life.

I'm feeling totally overwhelmed at work this morning. Our CEO assigned me a project yesterday that he had originally requested the International Purchasing Manager handle, but clearly hasn't done shit with. I don't have time and I'm feeling totally stressed.
Today is Evie's urologist appointment. I'm slightly nervous about it, although I feel like it's just a behavioral thing.

The kids are off Friday so as soon as they get out of school tomorrow, we head to the beach. It is the official opening weekend for the Jersey Shore and we will all sport tank tops and flip flops even if we freeze to death. DH took off tomorrow and I think we are both driving down in the morning to bring a bunch of stuff and so he can start assembling bunk beds and then I will come back to pick up the kids and drive down again. I’m hoping we meet some neighbors and make some summer friends.

Morning! H is at her last day of school and she decided she wanted to be very fancy with jewelry and sticker earrings. They are doing “pre-k games” with the other pre-k class so hopefully her dress doesn’t get in the way (or get ruined). MIL will be here shortly to pick up S to take her to the library. The ice bath last night sucked and I honestly can’t tell if it made any sort of difference yet. I’ll have to do it again today.

Josie is at school, and Charlie and I ran to T.J. Maxx. I officially hopped on the belt bag trend, and will report back on it.
Tonight is a Dad’s night at Josie school so Charlie and I will be alone for dinner while the two of them sift through a book fair and make some kind of craft.

I say "Wendsday" with a soft D. I vote that the spelling be changed because I don't think I've heard a single person say "Wed-nes-day" ever.

Today is vegetable day for Cass at school. I took the lead and had MH pick up a stalk from the grocery store. I stressed that she needs the entire stalk because they want the whole vegetable and that I will slice some to sample. I washed it last night, cut up some pieces, and had it packed and ready to go for him this morning. I called and reminded him this morning to bring the celery (he never answered). I called again and he grabbed the baggy with the pieces which was inside the whole bag with the rest of the stalk and he left it at home. I know it's a minor issue. But this shit pisses me off. It gets old that he does the same crap over and over. I did everything for you and all you had to do was grab the fucking bag and you didn't do it. I take the lead with everything for their school even though he has more time to handle these issues but he doesn't care enough to put in the least effort when required. I'm always the one tracking Madison's homework and even though he knows she has issues being responsible for it I don't think he's checked her backpack that she has it once.  |
