Age: 4.5
Milestones: HE WILLINGLY POOPED IN THE TOILET!!!!! Okay, I mean, not *totally* willingly, but voluntarily if not begrudgingly. He bragged to the neighbors (the wine bringing ones) and they made a huge deal over it. I love them.
Challenges: One day in underwear and he's super constipated again. Since he was really upset at the idea of having an accident in his Marshall underwear and he can't really control his bowels when he has Miralax, we compromised today with him peeing in the toilet even though he was wearing a pull-up. I finally feel like we might make some progress! He's a little ahead of the timeline the pediatrician set for him as well.
Funny/cute stories: We've been doing a lot of yoga lately and talking about calm breathing. H is traveling this week, so the boys have been fighting a little more than normal, and DS2 stood in tree pose deep breathing until he calmed down enough to talk to his brother without yelling. Fortunately, it was so funny that DS1 had already calmed down by the time DS2 was ready and they worked things out.
How are you? Good. We had a crazy weekend and it's been a busy week, but it's all happy things, and we go on vacation in about ten days, so I'm gonna make it!
Anything else? Nope!
QOTW: He is just the quirkiest little guy. He completely marches to the beat of his own drum and his imagination is huge. Fortunately we're surrounded by kind people who see him as a lovable goober and not a weirdo.
