Went well: I ran all of my planned miles and got a 5k PR at my club’s fun run on Monday night. I was so excited for finally break 27 minutes!
Didn’t: food. For the most part, I did ok, but I ate a doughnut at work yesterday and a muffin today. I also had a brownie at work earlier in the week. I need to find my willpower again.
Plans: My half is next Sunday, so I’ll run 3-4 miles a few days this week then I provably won’t run Saturday. We’ll be busy with the race expo and then my cousin’s wedding anyway. My race goals are 1. Under 2:11:50 for a PR. 2. Under 2:10 because my training runs say I should be able to

bethkate I also need to find my willpower again, particularly in the evenings. I put in my desserts ahead of time so I know I have them available, but I’m always taking extra bites of things. Things have been going okay. My schedule has just been really tight and I’m tired. I did get to relax yesterday when we got home from my sister’s, after I did a Peloton ride. This week I’m doing OTF today, Thurs, Fri. It is Mayhem week so the classes are supposed to be extra tough. Whatever that means, hah. Macros are looking good, too. I have things planned out this week to make some extra food for lunches and such, so I have no reason not to stick to my macros.

Jumping in...
Last week I stuck to my bringing all lunches and snacks for work and no extra snacking. It’s a huge pain but I’m trying to keep up the effort and see if it helps in the long term. I also made it to 3 workout classes plus ran 4 miles.
My weight is still not budging and it’s so frustrating. I’ve changed my diet but am probably still eating lots of calories, just less junk and more real foods. I really really don’t want to start counting calories or go on a more restrictive diet but I feel like if I don’t nothing will change.
My goal for this week is to keep up with packing my lunch and meal planning.
