It’s pretty much a guarantee. So the first sleep study showed that, yes, she had severe sleep apnea. So we had the tonsils and adenoids removed in hopes that it would fix the apnea. We knew going in it might not because of her low muscle tone. But we’re hopeful.

The second sleep study was to confirm what we suspected due to excessive snoring still, that she still had sleep apnea. So that’s when we saw the sleep specialist to determine next steps/options. She recommended the CPAP.

So this sleep study was actually with the CPAP to determine if it is helpful in reducing the apnea. They sent us home with the masks and hoses and said that the actual machine will probably be sent to us in about 2 weeks.

Also, hi! Made it back home. I’m so tired, but S is napping already after her early wake up and interrupted sleep. So I need to unload the car and unpack. Feed the dogs and clean their kennels. Feed the cats and play with the kitties (I had to round them up when I got home because they are adventuring now). Also need to try and find our other cat who is also about to have kittens and possibly already has. So I will be looking in all the hiding spots on our 7 acres. peachsmama I can come “dump” a cat off on your farm if needed. Lol. And I will also be calling the vet to get their appointments scheduled to fix them so this doesn’t happen again. I actually think we have “takers” for all the kitties already. But I’m kinda attached. Lol.

Morning! I had my A/S this morning and baby is doing great! Measuring big with long legs. Even gave us a cute thumbs up 😊

My ob also scheduled an ultrasound for my gallbladder since I’ve been having ongoing pain in that region since last fall.

Now I’m waiting at the eye doc for a checkup. I got a prescription last spring for glasses (I had lasik 7 years ago) but now I’m needing my glasses more than just at night so I’m going to see if i can get contacts for summer.

And it’s the most beautiful day so I plan on spending the afternoon outside.

Busy day today, so busy I didn’t have time to eat, and I’d already skipped breakfast, so by the time my last meeting started I could resist the giant shortbread cookies they had on offer... coffee, tv and my couch are on the agenda for tonight.

They’re sending the tube off to be tested. We go back in 2 weeks.

That's the plan for now.  He wants to see if his ear is still infected when we go back.  If it is, it wasn't the tubes causing his infections.  He said we may have an issue with hearing over the next several weeks but it should clear up eventually.  If I see any more drainage I'm supposed to contact him.  

I'm just so glad he was able to get the tubes out in the office so I didn't have to pay for 2 surgeries.

M had her preschool graduation today. Super cute. In between songs she looked pissed off. She definitely inherited my RBF.

slenle That's great about your scan...and cute that you got a thumbs up! Hopefully the gallbladder is nothing, maybe diet changes will help?

Also, on the eyes, my SIL said when she was pregnant, her vision would change, so you might hold off spending too much money right now, just in case they continue to change.

slenle my eyes changed during pregnancy, the ophthalmologist told me to wait at least six months after giving birth to get new glasses, because they might resort back to their old state.

I asked my doc about eyes changing and she said she’s really only seen changes in eye fatigue or focus, not necessarily long term vision changes from Pregnancy.

Regardless, my prescription is about the same as last year, and I need contacts to get me through the summer so I ordered some. I’ll wait until hormones level out postpartum to consider a lasik enhancement.

Hey. S had her last day of preschool today. She came out of her classroom full of energy, apparently they had popsicles. MIL picked H up a half hour ago to take her to an activity. When S gets up from nap we are going over to a friend’s house to play.

I have an etiquette question. Another mom at preschool offered to take H with her daughter on a play date. She suggested taking them to Chuck E. Cheese, which is fine with me. But my question is this: if she’s offering to take her does that mean she’s paying for her or do I send her with $20? They are doing the play date next week.

trtlcrzy I would think they they were going to pay but I will would, without a doubt, send money with her. I never like to assume that others pay. If they pay, great, if not then there isnt any awkwardness.

Nope. I haven’t had time to go look with packing the house up every free moment I have. Super cute top! I did buy 2 crop top t-shirts online at aerie to try, but haven’t tried them on yet. I desperately need to work out to feel comfortable in them, though, I’m sure.

Yep, always team green. But my sense that this is a boy is so strong, I’ve been saying “he” and “him” which i never did with the other two! Which probably means it’s a girl, lol.
