I'd say 1 of the absolute worst tantrums of his life was the night before he turned 3. I literally remember telling MH "holy crap, I heard 3 was rough, but what the hell!!! Fortunately for him it didn't last long, and they were few and far between. I wish the same for you! |

TW: pregnancy loss
A friend just had her fourth consecutive miscarriage, this is the third one in the last year. It’s so unfair. My heart is breaking for her.

O woke me up at 5:15 this morning. He was so hyped for his field trip to a farm in NJ today. He even cleaned the kitchen and swifferred the floors this morning because of his manic energy. Well about 15 min after he got to school i got an email that they cancelled the trip due to the weather. Poor guy must be so upset. Today i had a convo with mh about a timeline for him finding a real job if he doesn’t get any consulting business. I feel better now that I’ve planted the seed that this cannot go on indefinitely. I’m frustrated at work with people taking credit for my work, and just in general feeling like i don’t have an equal there. I literally do all the work. I know how chrisy01 feels. |

I haven’t read anything yet but I’m so pissed and frustrated right now that I just have to get it out. S started crying and whining about 11:10 and hasn’t stopped yet. She was a little shit at pick up, lunch and then right now at nap time. She’s not listening at all and I was so frustrated I just screamed at her. I feel a little bit bad but mostly I’m still hyped up. Anyone want a free 3 year old? J makes me feet that way at least twice a week.. 3 is such a hard age. On the parents lol. |

J is easy to please solo. We went to petsmart and loved on the shelter kitties. Went to once upon a child and he picked out a $4 garbage truck that is apparently all hes ever wanted. Went to dsw since I had a 30% coupon and hes outgrown his. Got paw patrol shoes for a steal, $18. he wanted a happy meal and to eat at home so he can plan with his new truck. We snuggled after he played and then he napped easily and woke up happy. Who is this kid?! But he also has a rash now??? Since he had fevers, would you call the pedi? Its all around his neck. He made me take a picture of his new truck lol.   |

trtlcrzy, I'm sorry S is being a beast. 3 to 3.5 was the absolute worst and C is generally easy in terms of whining/crying. It was full out crazy tantrums during that time though. You have all my sympathy. It will pass and she will be the adorable little muffin again.

peachsmama, if it's not bothering him I'd let it be. Maybe throw some Benadryl at him before bed and see if its still there in the morning. C gets weird rashes all the time. I chalk it up to sensitive pale skin.

We have our cyclical audit starting next week and they need so much information. I am just about cross eyed from all the paperwork today! But I feel decently prepared so it was worth it. Tonight I am meeting my new psychiatrist. I hate that I have to explain everything to someone else again but hopefully he is more dependable than the last one. My parents are picking up C and taking him to Karate after school, which is awesome. I folded laundry and did dishes before work so I should just be able to pack lunches, get the kid to bed, and relax tonight. I also have leftovers from last nights takeout. DH doesn't so I'm not sure what he is eating but I'm not sharing. I can get at least 2 meals out of whats left and it would be nice to have for lunch tomorrow.

vino where have you been? I'm here. Barely. I've been having a rough go, and feel like my life is one groundhog day event after another. I feel like the kids are slowing stealing my soul, so much so that I want to run away. I am so sick of talking, repeating, answering questions that aren't listened to. I know that I need to change my approach but I've got little to no effort left. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong, but damn if these kids arent out to flatten me. Clearly I'm attending a pity party over here...  |

Another rainy, gray day here. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed between work and all the stuff we need to get scheduled at the house. AF came last Wednesday and it always leaves me lacking energy and motivation, and this month is no different. And to make matters worse, I had an epic battle with my knuckles this morning, trying to get my rings off so I could clean them. I should have known it was terrible timing, given that I always gain a few pounds of water weight for the week. But whoa... At least it should be over soon.
I have to take the boys to a tandem eye doctor appointment on Thursday morning. I vaguely remember their last trip 2 years ago and suffice to say, I'm not excited about this. Haha.

I asked my nurse friend and googled, we're thinking he had roseola this weekend. It's a 3-5 day fever and a rash shows up later. So theres nothing that can be done at this point. The rash isn't contagious. wedding jewels |

peachsmama, Cadence had roseola back in the day. It was a crazy high fever and the rash was bright red on her cheeks. Not sure J's sounds quite like that. His rash could just be viral, though.
