C napped for almost three hours yesterday morning. It was awesome. But he was up at 6 today ☹. He usually sleeps until 7. He did this two weekends ago after a long Saturday nap. Lucky for MH I was off that Sunday and I'm off today.

We've been up since 6am after being up twice last night. One day this child will sleep.

It's the price we pay😉

Speaking of ear infections, this last one has really done a number on his sleep. Granted this has been a stubborn infection, but he hasn't slept normally since last Friday night. The last couple of nights, I have sent H in when the wake-ups are close together, and Charlie gets so pissed that I have no choice but to get up. Usually, he doesn't even seem to care for nursing that much, but I nursed him 4 times between 9;45 and 4ish last night. Since yesterday was his first normal day, I thought last night would be better, but it wasn't at all. I was thinking growth spurt but he's not trying to nurse more during the day. I'm giving him a couple more nights to get it together and then we are going to have to CIO. I cannot keep getting up 3-4 times a night. For your sanity I hope cio works for you. That is a lot of wake ups and C will appreciate a well rested momma.

At this age they are going through so many growth spurts that I always think she needs it.

Dd took a 5 hour nap yesterday 😱 she was more restless last night than usual.
I hope when they are teenagers and sleep too much that I don’t complain too much haha.

He has been doing a flat 12 hours at night and a half hour or so nap at DC. Which is barely enough with all the growing.

Well I'm pretty sure Charlie has roseola. That would explain the week long fussiness and fever. Was changing his diaper a few minutes ago and there is a rash on his trunk. DD had it at 15 months and it went exactly like this.
Poor guy. I feel terrible that he's had that and an ear infection at the same time.

I hope Charlie feels better soon doublestuf! L seems to finally be getting somewhat back to himself after 3 full days on amoxicillin. We have his 9 month well-visit tomorrow, so we'll check and make sure his EI is clearing up. He's been a bit fussy today still, but I think he is cutting another tooth (his 5th one!) since he is hardcore chewing on everything and drooling like crazy.
