Very wise. I’m drinking a greyhound currently. But now I’m out of vodka. I text MH to pick up more vodka and vermouth on his way home later. I had to Google what that was and now I want one They are pretty tasty. My friend used to say he was on the 'bus' whenever he was drinking those. As in the Greyhound bus. Now I was grapefruit juice |

Waiting for our room to be ready. Of course instead of excitement that we are at a water park instead of my aunts house, C is mad I tricked him. He will be over it soon I’m sure. Kids man!

Crisis averted. MH is going to get salt. Then he's going to take the older kids to pick up his parents from the airport and visit with them for a bit. Living my best life.

She did it! The hair girl didn't want to do it. She said cadence's hair was too straight for a bob. So she said she would cut it shoulder length and go from there. She cut it to her shoulders and Cadence flat out said, "nope. I want it shorter." Really? "Yes. Cut it shorter." So here we are.   |

I have a friend babysitting S for 4 days. Their house is a construction zone right now so she just packed up her kids (3 of them) and is watching her at my house. Well, MH is leaving tonight for DC for Police Week for work. Her husband is gone for a month on a work detail (her H is one of MH employees, and she worked for me last summer. But this summer she decided to stay home with her kids). So since our H's are both gone and it is Mother's Day, she is cooking us dinner tomorrow while she babysits. Lol. She said it will be a treat for her too because she loves cooking and she hasn't cooked on a stove in 2 months because of the remodel and her house being tore apart. She currently uses the instant pot and a microwave and an electric skillet to cook all their meals. I'm not sure how...but I am winning here. She is uprooting their lives for 4 days to watch my kid AND she is cooking me dinner. Also, she has been the best babysitter at my house by far. The dishes are always done...even the ones we left in the sink from before she gets there in the morning.

I am tired. I spent all last night getting ready for my sis to arrive and then this morning had to fetch my mom. We have been hanging out and my SM and brother are arriving shortly for dinner. They are bringing a treadmill for our garage..the said we needed to hire someone to get it to us but then somehow they got it in the back of their SUV. My SM has always claimed it's a walking treadmill, so hopefully we can run on it, my run is basically a fast walk though 😂

Atticus is living his best life. He got a slurpee as a bribe for getting out of the house during nap time so Pete could rest. He accompanied me on errands, and picked out his very first hat. He's beyond thrilled.
He also tried on dresses with me at Express, and picked me some new clothes that are actually super cute.
