teatime, I really like the pure body line at gap for basics. I also got a cute maxi dress at Target this week - its the Ingrid and Isabel line. They have a bunch of cotton dresses that aren't super pricey.

teatime old navy has some nice capris. I bought a pair 4 years ago when I was pregnant and never stopped wearing them 😂 I just bought a second pair. They are so comfy. I call them my traveling pants because I almost always wear them when I fly. Most of the rest of my maternity clothes are from Motherhood.

Add me to the list of pregnants with anxiety. My next appointment is tomorrow, at 9 weeks 5 days. I don't remember feeling so nervous with my first pregnancy, but we left for a three week trip in the UK and Ireland less than two weeks after learning we were pregnant. My 9 week appointment was the day after I got back, so I didn't really have time to sit around and be nervous like I'm doing now.

Ugh the nausea has been so bad lately that I finally gave in and took some vitamin B6 that my OB recommended. It’s been 3 hours and I think it’s helping! Or I’m tricking myself into thinking it. Idk. elle I totally agree that first tri is the longest thing ever. Glad you had a great appointment though!

I tried on a maternity shirt today and I was very unhappy with how it looked. After my last c-section, I am kinda uneven around my belly button...one side has more fat than the other. It looked like I have a butt on my stomach. I really hope that when I really have a baby bump and not just bloat, it'll smooth out.

jnetx I'm sure it still the awkward belly phase we are in right now! I'm just a few days ahead of you and feel like I'm in this weird stage where I have a tiny belly and it shows in regular shirts, but maternity shirts are still so big and weird looking on me right now.

jnetx, I'm sure to anyone that sees you, it doesn't look bad. But I'm sure as you get bigger it will fill out and be even. My stomach is definitely not like it used to be and is pretty lumpy. And my last was an emergency c-section and they didn't use the old incision so I have two incisions next to each other which isn't helping matters. I lost a lot of weight between DD2 and now so I am also not really fitting in a lot of my maternity clothes but am too cheap to buy much since this is our last and I have a ton already.

I’m just not able to keep up with exercise right now. I think I’ve maybe done once or twice a week so far instead of my more regular routine but I’m just so tired and nauseated all of the time.

Same here. What kind of exercise were you doing before? I had been doing 30-40 min cardio/strength/HIIT stuff, and now all I’ve managed is a couple of walks around the neighborhood. Which isn’t bad, I just can’t seem to motivate myself to get up early and do it daily.

Which isn’t bad, I just can’t seem to motivate myself to get up early and do it daily. I was doing Tabata style workouts and basic cardio, maybe a Zumba class here and there. I’ve done walking and some scales back core and arms work but it’s been rare. I’d be happy just to be out walking but I just feel so lousy!!

I hope everyone with nausea gets some relief! jnetx I'm further behind you, but my stomach is the weirdest shape. When I was pregnant with my super long DS2, my bump was literally like a square box because of the way he liked to stretch out and my tummy has never recovered. I hope the bump smooths out. I had my final appointment at my re yesterday. Baby looked wonderful and so cute! The gestational sac is measuring behind though. I googled and now I'm really nervous. I also had an appointment with my psych about my meds. I'm going to try to wean off my Zoloft. We will see how it goes. I may end up back on it.

emmilally I hope so too. Maybe this baby will redistribute my fat and I'll be more even. That could happen...right??

emmilally I’m in the same boat re: meds. I weaned off Zoloft in January (was pregnant but then had an early miscarriage) and never got back on, but I’m considering starting back up. Just wanted to commiserate!

I’ve got to whine because I need to let it out. I’ve been so nauseated I can’t eat. It feels better not eating than trying to and having it come back up. I’ve lost my voice from vomiting bile and I’m just over it. I’ve got zero energy and will basically be starting from scratch when I’m able to exercise again. I’ll be 10w tomorrow so it has to get better soon, right?
Done whining.

I'm sorry teatime! The nausea/vomiting really is getting old. I hope the end is near for you with them. I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow and still have both a few times a week.

teatime I feel you. I am 13 weeks today and though I still have moments, I definitely feel like I'm on the downhill side. Hang in there.

I got my doppler out this morning and was able to find the heartbeat! I had tried a few weeks ago (early I know) and couldn't find it so I put it away. This morning I was up early and pgal brain has been getting to me lately so I went ahead and tried it.
I'm going to try not be be obsessive about it but I'm glad I could find it so I can maybe check it each week between appointments.

My SIL that is due two weeks before me just found out that her twins are BG! I'm so excited for her! Now if June 5 could hurry up and get here, that would be great.

I'm going to my first prenatal yoga class this evening and I'm excited... except I have nothing to wear. I usually do yoga at home in my underwear lol. This stage is so weird. I haven't gained any weight; I can still wear my normal size, for the most part, but I feel very meh about buying yoga pants now that I'm only going to be able to wear for a short time. I'm not ready for maternity pants.

notblanche I'd think you could find a comfy pair that would work for a little while, especially if they have a roll down waist. And you can always set them aside for post partum!

I ended up walking to Gap on my lunch break and found a nice pair that I think will last me a while. I went on a little shopping spree while I was there lol. I'm leaning in to the elastic waistband pants and shorts that are everywhere this summer, and I got these that I love. #chambrayallday

I did a prenatal workout from the TIU ladies and omg. It was so many squats and lunges and I’m so sore. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick workout.
