I'm excited for the baby, but at this point I think I'm looking as much forward to Meghan being out and about again and more fashion.

Ok so I’m on a Singapore expat women Facebook group where this is being discussed- there’s a lot of well-connected Brits Here In SG and here’s the goss:
1) one of the ladies was visiting Windsor castle yesterday and the town crier was saying the baby is on the way
2) a lady’s Friend works at the hospital that’s the “backup” of the home birth doesn’t work out, she said that the baby has not been born yet but extra staff has been called in for this weekend to support, rumours of induction
3) not related exactly to the baby but someone is good friends with a Royal in-law and they said the Meghan vs. Kate drama is definitely true.

I would never expect Kate to share details of her births. But I'd be down for a Megan birth story

Lol, that guy has a lot of gall There was a big laugh on Royal twitter when he showed up in Windsor. “Here comes this fucking guy.” He will announce the baby’s birth too. By reading the palace announcement off twitter like the rest of us. 😂

The palace is trying to spin the trip cancellation by saying there are too many competing events involving other members of the family that day (Charles and Camilla in Germany; the Cambridges in North Wales).

I still don’t believe the M vs K drama. They are different people and if there is an ounce of truth, it’s probably growing pains getting used to each other’s differences. My SIL (BIL’s wife) and I didn’t get along for years. It was only an Internet slight but Family getting in the mix made it worse turned something that could have been squashed in days turned into years. SIL (DH’s older sister) chose a side and started talking shit about DH behind his back to other family members. MIL tried playing devil’s advocate with each of us which drove us both crazy and thinking that they had the other’s side.
That’s what it sounds like to me. Growing pains!

This is so silly. His wife is 300 months pregnant. He wants to be home to support her as they wait for their baby. This is not a surprise

I've said the same thing before. But I think we also can't compare them to our plebe lives. Having access to money, power, etc changes everything.

If that was the case then why did they even announce it a couple days ago. It isn't like these events just sprung up on them at the last minute.

I am picturing Meghan realizing she isn't as cool as she thought of Harry being gone overnight and crying that they already announced he was going. #whatmeghanwantsmeghangets

Hormones around birth and after are a B. My H had to travel to Nashville a week after I gave birth and even though I had my mom, I felt so abandoned.

The Queen will lead the Royal Family at the wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston later this month. Her Majesty will be present at the service which takes place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor on Saturday May 18th with a reception afterwards at Frogmore House.

He left me for two hours in the afternoon (baby was born at 730am) to just go to the ceremony and then come right back. I cried because I felt like an abandoned mom that depended on nurses. It was two hours and I was supposed to be napping.

ok i don't royal and i have only read the last few pages. What kind of backlash will the royals get for releasing a false statement about her giving birth already? Wasn't that just 2 days ago? The bookies don’t know shit. I don’t think the palace would straight lie about the birth. They could've been telling the truth when they made the statement and the baby could also be here. There was plenty of time to have a baby in between those incidents.

I think the bookies calling off bets has to do with if they feel people have gotten inside information And that's why a lot of beta were being made on the same day. What a weird thing to be gambling on.

I am still, to this day, salty that my husband went back to work 2 DAYS after I had my third baby after he swore up and down that he wouldn't do that to me again and that he would take at least a full week off. That was 6.5 years ago and I am still not totally over it! lol (I was partly overwhelmed because she was our third under 4 years old at the time).

MH told his friend he'd be best man at his wedding, which was my due date. I told him I didn't want him to. He didn't listen. Baby was born earlier that week but the day of the wedding was the first day we were home from the hospital and oh my God I was a mess. And he still left alone that night. #alsostillsalty
