She definitely said late April early May though Well if they planned this trip for Harry she just jinxed herself into an overdue baby 😂 My parents decided to take my sister on a trip to visit a friend a week after my due date and nobody showed up to help with my bigger kids when DS2 was born. I have a lot of feels about it still, I can't decide what this means for MM's due date. She said late April/early May, but would Harry really want to leave her and a newborn, even for a night or two? Did she just think she would go early? Am I overthinking this? It's for the Invictus Games though. That's Harry's thing. So I can see them making an exception for that given how important that organization is to him.

People told me for months with my 3rd I looked like I was due any day. I knew you're on the same page, but just an obligatory that doesn't mean anything. The last 6ish weeks are the worst

Any chance she said late April, knowing it would be highly unlikely, just to build additional suspence for the birth?

MH went to see his dad who had broken his femur and just had surgery when DS2 was a week old. He wouldn't have gone just because, but FIL had been battling a severe blood infection and that was the latest complication, obviously a big deal

Yeah the fact that her mom is there I can see them being ok with Harry leaving IF the baby was born especially with it being Invictus related

Well I hope she's at least walking laps around the house. Because if she's been sitting back with her feet up since we last saw her that baby is staying put. She needs to walk that baby out!

I feel strongly that if the Queen watches HGTV, we have same opinion of Chip Gains. We’d bond over that

It’s like a 2 hour flight. She has her mum and a team surrounding her, I think she’ll be ok 1 night without him

I feel badly for her. I remember how annoying it was with people calling to just ask if I had had the baby yet and I didn't even go over with my pregnancies. I can't imagine the entire world being interested in the state of my uterus. *I say as I also am waiting to hear about the baby. Hypocrite, party of one.

With the amount of help she’ll have, him being gone for a day or two is no big deal. And man, the comments on that Instagram. Woof. How does anyone deal with that kind of irrational hatred?

I'm starting to think maybe she did have the baby already and they are just waiting forever to announce (for whatever reason).
I do remember hearing that there would be an announcement that she was in labor and a later photo op. But I also remember reading something about how they wanted to keep to details of the birth private and wouls announce to the public after they had time to settle as a new family. Or something to that extent. Which made me think they'd just announce whenever/however they want to. I can't find that article now though. And then there was the meeting about media placement with the royal reporters at Frogmore a few weeks ago so who really knows.

The only place I read that we would get an announcement was I believe People.com and I don't believe them most times.

Or the baby was born already and they just haven’t announced it. I’m joking. I’m just waiting here for baby pics. 🤣

The Duchess of Cornwall today attended a medals parade for the 4th Battalion The Rifles at New Normandy Barracks, Aldershot. The Duchess has been Royal Colonel of the Battalion since 2006.

I'm sure he wants to support Invictus too

I started sending people to www.haveyouhadthatbabyyet.com for the last month of my first pregnancy, so I can only imagine what Meghan is going through. The end of pregnancy is the worst. It does seem like they announced 84 years ago, though.

So with a home birth does that mean completely non medicated? Or do they have people that will come in since they're royals and do an epidural if she would choose one?

I imagine they would have done anything she asked. I'm picturing her being in early labor for days since its her first lol (obvi everyone is different though). I didn't know if they would do an induction at home either or if they would have to be in a hospital

I didn't know if they would do an induction at home either or if they would have to be in a hospital Based on what I read about homebirths while I was researching back in the day and the midwifery model of care common in the UK, I would think that an epidural and any induction (beyond membrane sweeps) would be done at a hospital.
