Let me know if you think weekly check-ins are too much.
Week/fruit/EDD:
FTM, etc:
Appointments:
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out):
Symptoms:
Rants:
Raves:
GTKY: If you are a working mom, do you plan to change anything after this baby comes? Become a SAHM, work from home, etc?

Week/fruit/EDD: 12w3d, plum, 11/8 (c-section a week before)
FTM, etc: 3TM
Appointments: Next monday for NT scan
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink!
Symptoms: exhausted, allergies are killing me, lack of patience
Rants: I told some people at work last week after we got the genetic results and now I am regretting it because it's making me anxious.
Raves: I will be in 2nd tri next week! (So is it 13w or 13w+ for 2nd tri?)
GTKY: If you are a working mom, do you plan to change anything after this baby comes? Become a SAHM, work from home, etc? I plan to still work. Daycare cost is going to be crazy though until my oldest starts kindegarten the following fall. I am hoping to work something out with our center if possible. Currently siblings get a $5 a week discount which is nuts. It needs to be more like $75-$100 discount. We have talked about a nanny but it will probably only save us $$ for the 8 or so months all will be in daycare so I'm not sure that will be our best option either.

Weekly check-ins are the only thing that will get me through a loooooong first trimester. Lol!

5w / EDD 12/30, likely RCS / Ovia says, size of a lavender bud
FTM, etc: second-time mom
Appointments: Repeat bloodwork on Friday, first appointment/sono on May 21
Team will find out
Symptoms: Enhanced sense of smell, aversions, mild nausea, tender/ heavy breasts
Rants: I haven't been sleeping well and I'd like that to stop. I told Mh I feel I'm sleeping like a baby, unable to connect my sleep cycles and waking every three hours. Last night I was awake for over an hour, disrupted Mh in the process and nearly had a panic attack. I have therapy this week and I look forward to talking through this, and also to finding a new therapist for this new stage in my life. I mentioned it's my final session with my current; I hope she can recommend someone great.
Raves: I'm only working four days this week! I took Friday off. In the morning I go for a blood draw, then a hair appointment at noon, and then Mh and I have tickets to see one of our favorite bands live. We'll see how I fare with a 9 p.m. show start time. And on Saturday morning we're going out for brunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant and taking M with us. Lots to look forward to at the end of the week.
GTKY: If you are a working mom, do you plan to change anything after this baby comes?
I'm not sure yet what I'll do. I love my job and I carry our health insurance but my commute is long and where we live is VHCOL. Our current daycare situation is ideal and the cost for two in care will be manageable - but that will get harder when M has to move to preschool next fall. I'd like to be able to reduce that burden some.

Let me know if you think weekly check-ins are too much. (I’m new, so my opinion probably doesn’t carry much weight, but I kept checking to see if this was posted yet because it’s killing me to keep this secret and the days are dragging. Once a week doesn’t seem like too much!)
Week/fruit/EDD: 4+5, poppyseed
FTM, etc: 4TM
Appointments: u/s and intake appt 5/16 aka forever away
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Symptoms: none and it’s messing with my PgAL brain
Rants: none atm
Raves: still pregnant and no spotting.
GTKY: If all goes well, I plan on coming back to work FT around 12 weeks.

Let me know if you think weekly check-ins are too much.
I think weekly check-ins are great. I think we need to start some more GTKY threads to get some more action over here.
Week/fruit/EDD: 10w4d/strawberry/Nov 21
FTM, etc: 3tm
Appointments: next wednesday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): finding out
Symptoms: food aversions/nausea, restless sleep
Rants: sick of being sick
Raves: starting to build my maternity wardrobe! I've got 2 pairs of shorts, 3 t shirts, 4 casual dresses, 2 tank tops, and some shortalls.
GTKY: If you are a working mom, do you plan to change anything after this baby comes? Become a SAHM, work from home, etc?
I'm teaching preschool two days a week right now, but I'm quitting. Our nursery doesn't go down to newborns and I don't make enough to pay for daycare somewhere else.

I like the weekly check ins too!
Week/fruit/EDD: 5w1d/ladybug/December 29 (I will be a RCS too, sounds like there are lots of us)
FTM, etc: 3TM
Appointments: Friday for another beta, and ultrasound on Monday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Symptoms: giant boulder boobs and bloodhound nose. No nausea/morning sickness yet. Every time I’m pregnant, I convince myself something’s wrong because I’m not nauseous yet, then it hits me like a ton of bricks and I curse myself for wishing for it.
Rants: my beta today was 1377, so continuing to double in the 50ish hour range. I know that’s still within normal limits but I feel like I can’t breathe easy yet. My other IVF pregnancies tripled or quadrupled every time they drew my blood, so this is unnerving to me.
Raves: 4 IVF cycles and MH has finally mastered the PIO injections. I haven’t even been sore from them at all this time.
GTKY: If you are a working mom, do you plan to change anything after this baby comes?Become a SAHM, work from home, etc? I’m a nurse and I work full time, which is three 12 hour shifts per week. I like it because I still have days off during the week and tons of flexibility. I wouldn’t mind going down to part time (2 days/week) after the next baby, but I doubt we’ll be able to swing it financially.

Wardrobe is fun, jnetx! Where are you shopping? Curious about the shortalls Target is the only place near me that carries anything in store any more, so my shorts and tees and one dress is from there. Two dresses from old navy online and the rest (including shortalls) are from gap online. Here's the link for those: www.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=417872Where else can yall shop in-store? The closest motherhood is a 45 minute drive. My old navy doesn't carry anything any more and target has a tiny section that is mostly basics.

I look forward to weekly check ins! And I agree with whoever said we need some other threads throughout the week to get the board moving. If you want to start a thread, do it! 😊
Week/fruit/EDD: 11w3d
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: 5/17 for 14 wk appt
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): finding out hopefully on the 17th! They will be doing an ultrasound and my doctor said we *should* be able to tell the sex by then! I know it will still be early, but I hope baby cooperates!
Symptoms: mild nausea in the evenings, RLP
Rants: I can feel my body trying to catch a cold.
Raves: I did a half marathon this weekend and was pleased I finished 20 minutes faster than I anticipated 😊 but I'm so sore in random places now!
GTKY: If you are a working mom, do you plan to change anything after this baby comes? Become a SAHM, work from home, etc?
I will still work. I'm only part time, 2 days a week at my church as the nursery supervisor. It so easy and I love it, plus I can bring the kid(s) with me and put them in the nursery!

6w1d, edd 12/21, chocolate chip? 3tm I have my first ultrasound at my IVF clinic tomorrow. I had lowish betas and I've been spotting, so I hope we see something! Team finding out! Rants: I look 6 months pregnant no joke. I know it's from the meds and being a 3tm, but I look like I'm smuggling a bowling ball under my shirt. Raves: I spoke to our hr department today about expanding and improving our infertility coverage. I'm not pursuing further treatment but it felt great to advocate for others. I will keep working.

Week/fruit/EDD: 9 weeks, pecan, 12/3
FTM, etc: 3rd
Appointments: 5/15 for ultrasound, 5/23 next appt.
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Maybe finding out
Symptoms: Still all day nausea 😭
Rants: I have a lovely sore throat, but the strep test was negative so that’s a plus. So that and the nausea is making eating way more difficult and this is so hard, guys. It’s my birthday this week, too, and even cake does not sound appetizing- and I’m a big cake person.
Raves: We told the kids about the baby after the ultrasound last week and they are so excited. So excited, in fact, that my son told his pre-K teacher 🤦🏼♀️. Oh well!
GTKY: If you are a working mom, do you plan to change anything after this baby comes? Become a SAHM, work from home, etc
Already a SAHM! It’ll likely stay that way for a few years. We’re thinking I’ll try to find something part-time when all the kids are in school.

Congrats, emmilally! I'm so happy for you. Week/fruit/EDD: 12w FTM, etc: STM Appointments: Had a brief one today, just heard the heartbeat. Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Green! Symptoms: Nausea has migrated from belly to more esophagus/throat. Constant lump in my throat and reflux issues. Starting to get RLP. Rants: Still all the 1st tri yucks. Raves: Feeling much more confident telling people now that we had the 12 week appointment. GTKY: If you are a working mom, do you plan to change anything after this baby comes? Become a SAHM, work from home, etc? I plan to have no money because I'll have two kids in super expensive day care!!
