We made it to our vacation house about 3:30 yesterday. Got unpacked and walked to the beach. Evie loved it. Stopped at a little store for some drinks and headed back to the house and got in the pool.
I may never want to leave...

mwhip that sounds perfect, I love it when you can walk to the beach . We can walk to the beach, the local store, a great restaurant we ate at last night since we had already had drinks. The only thing better would be to walk out the front door and be on the beach, but we couldn't afford that, and we have a pool here to ourselves. Thank God for family discounts, pretty sure H said they rent this place for $250 nightly, we are paying $75. |

Morning. Home from vacation, which is always bummer (except summer last year, god I was glad to be home then). I don’t have to work untill Thursday and we still have the rental car, so we’re thinking on what to do the next two days. Now I just need to figure out dinner, le sigh.

mwhip those are the best places with kids, just leave the car be, I’m not a fan of ‘the kids in the car’ hassle. Hope you have the best time!

GM! I’m at the court house today for jury duty. They’re still checking everyone in so I’m hoping I will be excused. I am supposed to chaperone B’s field trip tmrw so dnw to have to cancel!
One positive was free EV charging so I’m loading up while I’m here.

Morning! The sun is shining so hopefully it’s a beautiful day! We don’t have anything planned outside of the normal Monday activities. Yesterday after work I took a nap and thought I would be up until the middle of the night but I actually got tired and fell asleep at 1am (which is still late but better than 3). mwhip that sounds amazing. |

I do feel slightly guilty that the weather in Kansas City is shit while we are down here. Rain every day, chance of severe weather and tornadoes...I sent our dog sitter a text and told her where we go when tornadoes are possible, JIC. And this is what we are dealing with.  |

Morning! Thanks for the birthday wishes. Nothing special planned. I am working and have my first seasonal employee starting today! So that’s kinda like a present...now I have help!!! I have been covering 19 campgrounds and 177 river miles by myself for the last month.
Tomorrow i have the day off and it’s cleaning lady day. So I will probably go treat myself to a pedicure and shopping.

Took today off to regroup and get back to normal life. I need to do laundry, go grocery shopping and clean the house. I guess that's normal. 😒

It’s been awhile... sorry I suddenly fell off the face of the earth. Life has been a complete mess but I’ll update all of that on the private board. I’ve missed you guys, and am so jealous of the Denver meet up! Glad everyone had fun.
