This is a random thread, so here's a random question:
Which way do you shave your legs?
1) with the hair 2) against the hair
Pits 1) with the hair 2) against the hair
My BF is appalled with how I do it and I want to know if I'm doing it wrong.
ETA: wait should I make a thread and poll?

I am a big fan of dual screen. Or just huge screen! I had one of those huge iMacs at my old job and I miss it so much! I could get the dual screen effect on there haha. Enough that once I can afford it I think I want to buy one for home.

legs against the hair; pits against too. It's just easier. And I'm a heathen who doesn't use shaving cream, just water.

Yes!!! Yay more fans. I set my PVR tonight. I'll be able to watch real time for the first time. Typo or does PVR = DVR in Canada land? Inquiring minds want to know. I think so? I set my TV box thing to record shows I want. Canadians, is this a Quebec thing?

I go against the hair (up my legs) and same with pits.
My BF tells me I do it wrong and cringes bc he thinks it hurts every time he sees me do it.

45thparallel, I shave against the hair for both as well. Also a heathen and either just use body wash or sometimes if I'm fancy I use conditioner as shaving cream...but only if I have cheap conditioner in the shower....this actually reminds me that I keep forgetting to put in new body wash in the shower and I keep using M's baby body wash...oops.....runs to make sure I have soap for tomorrow.

45thparallel, maybe it's different for men and facial hair. Like does your BF shave his legs too?? TBH I don't have a frame of reference here really because DH has alopecia so he doesn't have hair....

Oh yeah. No shave cream for me either. Waste of money. I use whatever is going in the shower - shampoo, body wash, bar soap, kids body wash...
Also, this all came about when I bought my first non-disposable razor of life a little while ago. 5 blades and swivel head is AMAZING. Thank you Costco for putting Venus razors on sale!

TBH I don't have a frame of reference here really because DH has alopecia so he doesn't have hair.... He doesn't save his legs, but for his face it's with the hair. My ex shaved his legs (swimmer) and went with the hair too - so down his legs.

I feel like you just wouldn't get it all if you went with the hair... or it would take so long and who has that kind of time?!

45thparallel, against the hair here too (I use conditioner so I don't have to lotion later). I asked my H what he does, but he can't use disposable razors, he uses clippers because he's fanceh. So he's no help in this poll.

So he's no help in this poll. My BF has to shave at the start of every shift, but when he's off for extended times he claims to have to clip before he shaves. Maybe he just has ultra sensitive skin?

+1 for PVR. I got against the hair for legs and armpits, but with the hair for my nether regions. So I think it might depend how sensitive the area is. I'm so excited for BB!! But I'm mountain time and the Parenting thread is too spoiler-y for me. 45thparallel
