My new office that I just moved into is the ugliest thing ever. They won’t let me paint it so I bought some contact paper to line the shelves with on the back wall. Just something to spruce it up a bit. So now I can’t decide which to go with. I was thinking the solid grey on the bottom of the shelf and one of the prints on the back of the shelves. Thoughts? What will look best? Or should I scrap the idea and just suck it up with an ugly office? Pano of New office - not set up yet Close up of the lovely shelves on one side. Shelf paper left to right 1, 2, 3, 4.

I'm over Chevron, so I vote the 2 on the left! I think adding some plants would help too!

I like number one! I’d bring in lamps and plants (although I can’t keep them alive) and maybe fill the shelves with baskets.

I love #1. #2 is my next favorite. Like guster said, maybe some plants and some colorful photo frames.

I also texted this to my seasonal staff that will be at the small desk in my office for the summer. They like 1 and 2 as well. Which was what I was leaning towards. I’m still working a few angles to paint it instead. I just have to convince the powers that be. I will be much more productive if I have a little color in there.

Definitely a few plants and maybe some artwork/pictures on the walls. I like #1 and 2 also.

#2 is my fave. It looks like such a great space! So open and bright!
I’d remove that table on the right near the built in’s it’s clustering up the area, anything you could put on the top could go on the back built ins.
Once you get all your working stuff in, then start to add decor, plants etc that way you’ll have a better idea of blank spaces

Oh and, if that’s a fake plant above the window it’s gotta go! It’s awful and will only collect dust and look like grey, dusty leaves in no time.

There will be a computer/workstation there. And there is literally no where else to go with it...unless I downsize my desk/workstation...which is definitely not happening. Lol.

Can you get rid of the desk that has the box on it in the picture? Clearly I'm feeling claustrophobic with the amount of desks etc, and need to remove pieces, but if it works for you then i love it for you...lol

I am moving from an entire building (it was a 3 bedroom house) to this tiny office. I have to find a way to cram all my stuff from my operations into this room. I do have a storage she out back and that will help. MH told me he doesn’t like it like that either. Lol. But I really have no other options furniture wise. The blue ladder by the small desk will be gone...I was just using it to wash down the cabinets and shelves up high. So that will open things up a teeny tiny bit. Haha.
