kim22 I think it was you that asked why my dr wanted me to come into the office when I asked about doing the tubal with the D&C. I went yesterday and she wanted to discuss the procedure because their office does a tubal removal instead of just a tubal ligation. Recent research & studies show it can reduce your risk of ovarian cancer.

Nothing exciting here either. I have spent more time this morning scanning information to send to our mortgage company for our refi than actual work.
I also had a slight stress/melt down because I couldn't find Evie's official birth certificate, but I found 2 original copies from the state. I called the school and they said they would accept the state copies, but I still have no idea what I did with her original, so I need to tear my house apart this weekend.
Today is my Friday, but since we are shut down for a physical inventory, it's so fucking slow. I have things I should do...but no motivation.

tgrimes were they able to move the date up at all or still June? Because she has another surgeon assist her with the procedure and we have to coordinate with her schedule, it will still be in June. TMI-so far with this cycle, I haven't been spotting. I'd prefer not to do the surgery at all because it will cost me around $4000. So that gives me a couple cycles to monitor. She said I can always cancel the surgery if I decide to. |

Hi. I still need to catch up from yesterday. tgrimes I actually asked about a removal after E and my OBGYN told me to wait a year. But I think it was more to make sure I thought it through and not a rash decision from a not so great delivery experience. I’m still leaning towards doing it. But with all my family having babies I’m having second thoughts |

Morning. A bit of a frustrating day today at work. They want me to do test for a kid and I don not think that that is the right test and will measure exactly nothing... they sort of agree, but just want do something NOW. let’s just say I’m not a fan of doing something, just to do something. Having diner with a friend tonight, looking forward to it!

Now I want an ablation if my periods don’t improve but that was cost me like $4,000 and doesn’t even always work. One of my coworkers had an ablation and it didn't work. She ended up doing a hysterectomy a year later. |

Morning!
Both kids are in school, praise the Lord...so much whining this morning. I might start getting up earlier just to drink my coffee in solitude.
I got home and took the dog for a nice long walk...spring is finally here, the cherry blossoms and dogwoods are starting to bloom, and everything is greening up.
Now I’m wrapping Easter and Mother’s Day gifts (I shopped ahead this year!) and then need to order C some new bows for her spring/summer wardrobe 😂

Yeah, my coworker had a tubal and ablation and her periods for that first year were weird. She said she would PMS for a week before it started, then she would have a really light period for like two weeks straight. A week normal and repeat. Sucks to be on your period for half the month, every month. |

So one of mH’s colleagues is a single guy, 40ish, and looking to have some work done on his house (flooring, painting, new furniture, etc). He got wind that my background is design and I had/have(?) a business, and asked DH how I worked and if I’d be interested in helping him.
So DH came home and told me about it and I kind of just felt...dread. Idk, I know that is terrible. I’ve kept my licenses and accounts and all but kind of decided until we are settled and my kids are in school more, I probably won’t pursue much. On the other hand, if someone is willing to pay you to do something you reasonably enjoy, it’s probably dumb to not at least hear him out.
So DH is giving him my contact info and I guess we will see; I’m kind of hoping he’ll forget about it, though.
TL; DR...I don’t know if I actually want to do work right now.

Morning. Home today. Taking the kids to my parents this afternoon since they were going to babysit tonight anyway. Then I’ll have time to get shopping done solo for Hs party on Sunday.
I checked my work email and shouldn’t have. My boss wants us to each call 500 customers before Easter. Basically cold calls, which I haven’t done in my 5 years there. And why would I be motivated to do this when I have less than a month left? He put a cash incentive on it too, but it doesn’t motivate me any more, ha. I think my coworkers will be more in to it, so I’m fine with them winning while I ride out my time doing minimal work. #employeeoftheyear

My sympathies slenle I would probably also ignore that email, lol. When I did my brief stint in payroll sales we had to do cold-calling on Monday afternoons. It was my least favorite task EVER. I do not know how telemarketers do it. |

Hello for the 2nd day in a row.  I'm feeling quite a bit better today. My ear is still a bit sore and I understand why the doctor said the OTC Sudaphedine is only a half step away from speed. At least I'm productive?! DH is home with Colin and just had to give him dose #2 of Motrin for the day; he said he was practically in tears about his ear and throat.  I recommended a dose of ice cream in a Yankee hat cup during the afternoon game, but kiddo is definitely not going to school tomorrow when he's in such bad shape still today. Thank goodness that DH works from home and that Colin behaves well enough (at least when Chase isn't around) to not require much beyond food. Not sure how this impacts the weekend, I'm hoping to see some improvement tomorrow. Chase meanwhile drank his Tamiflu this morning without incident after getting scolded for spitting some out last night. Of course then he burst into tears immediately afterwards... DH joked that he'd be even more upset if he comprehended that he has to take this medicine because his brother is sick. |

flamingo I am in a similar situation work/businesswise and I would say go with your gut. If you made a concious decision not to be focused on client work right now, you did it for good reasons. It takes a lot of mental energy to get into the work mindset along with all the actual work. Dread is a good indicator that you are just not ready to focus on that right now. Client work isn't going anywhere, and when you are ready you will be excited to jump back in!

Also, my dog trainer fired me, you guys. It's fine and for the best, but I do not feel like I am exactly winning at life over here 😬
