Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 37+6 / RCS April 12th
Baby is the size of a: watermelon (I can believe this)
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Boy
Appointments: Last OB visit tomorrow before c-section
Symptoms: I'm just....big. And everything else that comes with late pregnancy.
Milestones: My goal was to make it to April 1st, so yay! Now he can come out anytime he wants.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm going to start wearing a sign to work - yes, I'm still here, yes, I'm still pregnant, I'm feeling very large and exhausted, that should take care of all of your questions! Ha!
QOTD: What is your favorite binge-worthy TV show? (I'm looking ahead to maternity leave where I had a lot of time to binge Netflix while holding my sleeping baby...) My last maternity leave I binged Orange is the New Black. This time I have Workin' Moms queued up, but need something else!

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 37+4 / RCS April 12
Baby is the size of a: Honey dew melon
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM, DD1 will be 4 in July
Team: Pink
Appointments: Tomorrow, then next up is baby day!
Symptoms: Some swelling that is a bit painful to the touch, major insomnia, but otherwise feeling pretty good. I’m looking forward to having 4 days off work next week to get final prep done!!
Milestones: It’s baby month! Yay April!
Rants/Raves/Vents: H’s work had a surprise shower for him yesterday and we got a TON of diapers. They’re so sweet and even knew what brand we used with DD1, so it is all Honest diapers and wipes.
Vent? I don’t know if this is a vent, but I’m starting to get a little panicky about how to manage newborn fog with still getting DD to school in the mornings, keeping her on schedule, and not letting her feel neglected, etc. I know people do it solo all the time, but the anticipation of it happening is a lot.
QOTD: What is your favorite binge-worthy TV show? Schitt’s Creek Man in the High Castle Sex Education Mad Men (I never watched it on tv)
I have quite the list going for maternity leave.

How is everyone doing this week?? Doing pretty good I think!
Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 2 weeks old!
Baby is the size of a: We’ll find out tomorrow at her Pedi appt. I’m hoping she’s bigger than her birth weight.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM, 2 angel babies
Team: Pink!
Appointments: Pedi appt tomorrow. I will see my OB on the 29th
Symptoms: Still a little sore in the downstairs. Boobs/nips are still getting used to breastfeeding.
Milestones: 2 weeks old! She’s finally filling out newborn clothes pretty well.
Rants/Raves/Vents: How is my baby 2 weeks old already?!?
ILs will be here tomorrow, and they’re leaving on the 9th. We’re not taking DD out in public yet, so it will be a lot of sitting around at home. Thankfully my H took the week off of work so he will be here to deal with his parents!
QOTD: What is your favorite binge-worthy TV show? (I'm looking ahead to maternity leave where I had a lot of time to binge Netflix while holding my sleeping baby...)
I’m currently binge watching America’s Next Top Model. I’m contemplating restarting OITNB and The Handmaid’s Tale before the new seasons come out this summer. I also have to rewatch every season of the Great British Baking Championship. I love that show so much!

Baby is the size of a: 7lbs 7oz and 21" when I measured last week.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM, E turns 4 this month!
Appointments: I have my 6 week PP check up next week and then that's it until his 2 month appt at the end of the month.
Symptoms: Cradle cap is here. I need to brush up on how to take care of it.
Milestones: He's one month! Seems impossible... He also met the Easter Bunny yesterday, big milestone for him 🐰😂
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm tired. He's waking up more during the day and is interacting more though which is really fun.
QOTD: What is your favorite binge-worthy TV show? (I'm looking ahead to maternity leave where I had a lot of time to binge Netflix while holding my sleeping baby...) With E I watched OTH and Gilmore Girls. Friends is another good one. I'm watching Suits right now and really like it too.

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 37w1d Baby is the size of a: My app says a canary melon, but it also says 6lbs which... is not my case, most likely. FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM Team: 💙 Appointments: 4/4 at 4 for a sizing US and to discuss induction Symptoms: heartburn at random times (like 3am), lots of period like cramps in the middle of the night that disappear when I stand up, I’m pretty sure one of his arms is just going to fall out of me at some point... also exhaustion, insomnia, tons of pressure, I pee every 30 minutes or less, super dry mouth, etc etc. Late pregnancy is fun! Milestones: the midwives at my practice consider 37w as “at term” so... Term baby! Rants/Raves/Vents: I quit my job yesterday when I found out my boss lied about something else. So. Maternity leave started today! QOTD: What is your favorite binge-worthy TV show? (I'm looking ahead to maternity leave where I had a lot of time to binge Netflix while holding my sleeping baby...) I’m planning on rewatching The Crown. I’m also stoked GOT will be back on so I can watch those religiously. I’ve got a list of documentaries to watch, too - particularly the Serial/ Adnan Syed one. Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 37+5, induction 4/11
Baby is the size of a: honeydew melon
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: blue
Appointments: Thursday, doctor wants to strip my membranes
Symptoms: insomnia, pelvic and back pain, so tired
Milestones: started losing mucus plug
Rants/Raves/Vents: I was supposed to have ultrasound at next appointment due to borderline fluid levels at last ultrasound but my insurance denied it.
QOTD: What is your favorite binge-worthy TV show? (I'm looking ahead to maternity leave where I had a lot of time to binge Netflix while holding my sleeping baby...)

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 36+1
Baby is the size of a: Cabbage patch doll
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue
Appointments: Weekly so another one Friday
Symptoms: Heartburn in the MOTN. Just being giant and having a hard time keeping up. I hate being forced to slow down.
Milestones: 6 days away from ultimate goal... and when DD was born. Right now just with life stuff I would like to get to 38 weeks lol. This pregnancy has been totally different so far. A few worries of it being the same as my first but then quickly settled. Although now I’m like okay what do we have to do for an induction. I’m terrified of going into labor naturally. I know it’ll be fine but getting my DD off to my moms and her not thinking I’m hurt then getting to the hospital. It’s easily 45 minute trip and I hear the second always come faster. Yikes.
Rants/Raves/Vents: My van is in the shop needing repairs. I’m so annoyed. Didn’t want to spend that money right now but needed. I get to grab it today and have it the rest of spring break thankfully whole waiting for part to come in but then needs back in the shop for a day
QOTD: What is your favorite binge-worthy TV show? (I'm looking ahead to maternity leave where I had a lot of time to binge Netflix while holding my sleeping baby We are a no cable no internet household😬 so I’m no help! Lol

snickerdoodle it really blows my mind that insurance companies can basically dictate medical care like that. Like, if the DOCTOR who actually knows what they're doing thinks it's necessary, why does the insurance get to say otherwise 🙄

Seriously. snickerdoodle , I’d have your doc call your insurance company. They’ll go to bat for you. Ugh, insurance is the WORST. Hope your doc can make a call snickerdoodle! Thanks guys. It’s really frustrating and makes me nervous. This happen with first tri ultrasound too. They wanted to check on heartbeat again and insurance denied. I was a mess for weeks until they could do heartbeat by Doppler. I’ll ask my doctor but doctors office was who called to tell me and didn’t seem like they were Going to do anything. It seems to be a known thing about my insurance being difficult about ultrasounds.

That’s my own really horrible anxiety talking though.

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 36+5/April 25th
Baby is the size of a: cabbage patch doll
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: stm
Team: pink
Appointments: tomorrow
Symptoms: SPD, starting to get some heartburn here and there, generally large, having a lot of Braxton Hicks each day and some of them are painful so I’m hopeful the end is near
Milestones: group b strep negative
Rants/Raves/Vents: 1 more week of work - my boss asked me if I wanted to work a couple days extra from home ... lol nope. Also it occurred to me that if I go overdue I could have a May baby and have been in denial/crying on the inside about this fact. I was induced at 38 weeks with DD so I’m getting very close to my most pregnant state and I’m just very ready for this to be done.
QOTD: What is your favorite binge-worthy TV show? (I'm looking ahead to maternity leave where I had a lot of time to binge Netflix while holding my sleeping baby...) With DD I remember sobbing my way through Call the Midwife and Parenthood. I’ll be rewatching Schitts Creek and Game of Thrones this round. Pen15 is pretty funny and has major nostalgia factor if you were in middle school around 2000.

How is everyone doing this week?? Pretty good!
Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 5 weeks old!
Baby is the size of a: 9lb 1oz last week. Back to birth weight and beyond!
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Green turned blue
Appointments: Next week for our 6 week PP midwife check
Symptoms: I had the beginnings of mastitis earlier this week. Thankfully I caught it fast and was able to nurse, pump and massage the crap out of it and it seems to have gone away. Thankfully!
Milestones: I think we've finally gotten into a night time groove. T is waking up around 1 and 4, which is giving us some pretty decent chunks of sleep.
Rants/raves/vents: I just survived my husbands first work trip since having 3 kiddos. I managed to juggle a sick DS2, get DS1 to school and ninja training and meet DS3's needs. I feel like superwoman.
QOTD: What is your favorite binge-worthy TV show? (I'm looking ahead to maternity leave where I had a lot of time to binge Netflix while holding my sleeping baby...) Greys and parenthood

Well it looks like my baby is staying in for the long haul, 38-week appointment today and not even a little bit dilated! Zero cm. Oh well. Maybe if he is staying comfy in there for awhile longer, he could cool it with the aggressive kicking?

At my appointment yesterday, I mentioned that the amount of “high activity times” had decreased, so my doctor recommended doing NST and BPP u/s. NST took an hour to finally get her heart rate up. It was mostly just steady (which is good, but they want to see accelerations).
BPP went great though. 8/8 score (however that is determined) and still above 90th percentile, so still growing. I guess she’s just sleepy and not moving as much.
I’m glad for technology and testing, but also soooo glad to still have next week to do the million things I plan to do before baby!

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: they are 1 month and 1 day old!
Baby is the size of a: 9lb 7.5oz and 9ln 9.5oz at the pedestrian today!
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM/TTM (twins)
Team: 2 identical boys
Appointments: Today was their one month. They are perfect! I have my 6 week postpartum visit in 2 weeks I think.
Symptoms: Night sweats are gone!
Milestones: 1 month nursing and bottle feeding pumped milk! So far my supply is good but I always say we're taking it one day at a time. They are not that better at nursing yet. Oh and I survived my first week solo- in fact I think it was less stressful than a house full of visitors.
Rants/Raves/Vents: just thrilled with their growth. Hoping we start to get some longer stretches of sleep soon.
QOTD: What is your favorite binge-worthy TV show? (I'm looking ahead to maternity leave where I had a lot of time to binge Netflix while holding my sleeping baby...)
My favs: Downtown Abbey Call the Midwife Parenthood Friday Night Lights
I might start This is Us if it is streaming anywhere?
