I had a great time with my friends Saturday, but paid for it yesterday and still today. I should have taken today off just to sleep and recover.

Oh and it’s my anniversary today and C and I don’t get to spend anytime together today. That’s how most people celebrate now right?

Morning! Ds went to school & my mom looked after dd for a bit so my sister and I could go out and grab breakfast. It was soooooo nice. I got a nice dinner for h and me for tonight that I’m looking forward to.

C’s Birthday is Wednesday and we are seeing a movie in the morning. That evening LO is treating C to Pirates Dinner adventure so we will spend some time together then.

I'm at work. Tonight the OU symphony is in town and I got free tickets for being an alum. I asked my MIL if her and my FIL wanted to go and she said she'd love to, but FIL could stay home and we'd go together. Lol. So I'm going straight to her house after work so we can go drink and eat sushi before the performance.

I'm getting work done at my parents then moving more stuff from here. They came for the 2nd time to install internet this morning and couldnt. We should get it by Monday.. I'm so annoyed.

mamabear Well that is annoying. I would definitely look for a back up. I would hate if you wait all that time and it ends up being cancelled. Have you searched other websites for that specific table?

Woke up late, got to work late. Office mate, runner, and receptionist were all in my office laughing and having a grand old time. Got my coffee, came back in here and it was just my office mate. She hasn't said a single word to me. So now I'm wondering if they were laughing at me and once I got here all disappeared. I hate sharing my office.

mamabear that stinks. I feel your pain, on a personal and professional level. When I worked we used to joke that when furniture was delayed, it was on a slow boat from China. I think that’s accurate more often than not 🙄 Happy anniversary chrisy01! That sounds like fun tgrimes, enjoy! Your MIL sounds delightful.

Morning!
Dropped the kids off then ran to WallyWorld for a couple random things. I’m home now and need to do some housework (I skipped MOPS...#rebel)
The neighbors are *finally* having a new fence put up today, hallelujah. The hurricane in the fall destroyed one large panel and the rest of the side separating our yards has been leaning precariously since. They are super nice people and but their backyard is kind of a wreck so I’ll be happy to not have a view anymore.

Morning. H is at school and S is playing quietly. Nothing too exciting planned for today: laundry and picking up/cleaning. My house is especially bad after I work on the weekend.

Morning. Another quiet day at work. Boss is gone for the week and coworkers don’t know I put in my notice yet. I’ve been spending most of my time cleaning out my email. My inbox has never been so empty. It’s going to be a long month.
H is officially out of the toddler room and moved to the preschool room at daycare. He told me this morning he didn’t want to go down there because it was scary. I’m surprised, he normally loves it. It’ll help once n gets there after preschool at lunchtime.

We had kindergarten orientation this morning. Such cuteness! They sent all the kids and parents home with a book each. It’s a small group so they were able to get into many details regarding curriculum and structure of the day.
We go back in summer to meet the teacher, set up cubbies, and ride the bus.

Tomorrow was supposed to be Cadence's kinder orientation, but they rescheduled it for the end of May. Now tomorrow is just going and turning in the remaining paperwork to get her registered. I already asked for the day off, so I'm taking it and relaxing!

Still waiting for my boss to get back to me on the $... not for sure if he’ll offer double, but that’s what it sounded like. I’m still leaning toward being done May 1. I just don’t think there will be enough work to keep me busy like he’s thinking. Hopefully he’ll get back to me in the next day or two so I can let daycare know the kids will be leaving. (And give my cleaning lady fair notice.. sob!) |
