slenle did you decide on your last day yet? (Or will you keep working for double-pay until later..,?) Still waiting for my boss to get back to me on the $... not for sure if he’ll offer double, but that’s what it sounded like. I’m still leaning toward being done May 1. I just don’t think there will be enough work to keep me busy like he’s thinking. Hopefully he’ll get back to me in the next day or two so I can let daycare know the kids will be leaving. (And give my cleaning lady fair notice.. sob!) I can understand wanting to be done. You've made the decision, and it is truly awful to be bored/not have enough to do at work, at least in my experience. |

flamingo that is an adorable picture! Your kids are so photogenic! Thank you! I want to know what they did to get that smile...she typically requires a lot of theatrics to get even a pleasant expression, lol. The class pic was priceless; she only has 5 in her class so they were all seated on chairs with the teachers on the ends. C is right in the middle with her ankles crossed, hands in her lap, huge smile on her face. Miracle workers, I tell you. |

Morning all. I feel like I'm barely here, but then i look at my life and it's the same feeling I get everywhere. It's been non stop for days now and it's sad that my 'down time' is work, ::sighs loudly:: Anyway, onwards and upwards. J has adjusted so well to her new bed and it's adorable; she has a Gro Clock in her room, cause B has one, and yesterday morning she yelled 'NO SUN' when it came on. Sure can't wait for the teenage years with that one  The last couple Sunday's I've gone to yoga from 5.30pm-6.45 pm, it's great and I love it but the timing is not great. I leave with the dinner chaos starting and come back to the bath/bedtime/make lunches, so much for feeling zen. I need to find another time that works. |

Hi from work. I’m in full gear to walk a construction site thanks to C. The walk was suppose to be tomorrow but they moved it up to today. I was in flats and a dress. Can’t walk a construction site in that so C was kind and brought me clothes.

lahdeedah I don't think I gave details other than the expensive balloon arrangement. All in all, it was fine and there wasn't any drama. Some things happened that annoyed me but I just kept my mouth shut. Like, everyone was supposed to bring wine. I was the only one that did. One of the hosts flew in from San Francisco and stayed with my SIL. She told her her mom had plenty of wine so they didn't need to stop and get any. I wasn't about to make my MIL supply the wine just because she could so I tried to sneak away to the store but my MIL caught me and said not to worry about it. While setting up a few of the girls were ready to take some wall art down and I stopped them in order to ask my MIL if that was okay first. The San Fran girl said I was too nice and she would have just taken it down. Ummmm, it's not your house. My SIL received A LOT of white/grey baby clothes, diapers and wipes. (as I told her she would.) A crap load of stuff is still left on her registry. She did mention that a lot of the items on her registry she only put on there because Chrissy Tiegen likes them. Ummmm, she has the money to afford all of that and she might be getting paid for her endorsements... Anyway, it all turned out fine. I have leftover fruit & cheese for days.

Were these people raised by wolves?? I can't imagine going into someone's home and just removing stuff from the walls...and I'm an interior designer!

I am giving a big WTF to taking down someone else's artwork/photos to decorate for a shower. Were these people raised by wolves?? Also, lol at Chrissy Teigen recommendations. They had to move it for the balloon thingy and to hang a diaper wreath... |

My kids, to this day, wear very little light-colored clothing because of the inevitable stains they will get with five minutes.
No white or grey baby clothes, ever.

So why were they taking wall art down??? Was it going to be a rager and worried it'd get dirty? Or did they not like it and didn't go with their vibe..and a nail and empty wall would be better?

I'm getting work done at my parents then moving more stuff from here. They came for the 2nd time to install internet this morning and couldnt. We should get it by Monday.. I'm so annoyed. The worst. Will you work from your new House or will your office still be at your parents? The day I get internet, my office will move to my house. |

FFMC: I bought B white shorts for Easter. C had some last year. They were still perfectly white at the end of summer--Oxyclean FTW. |

I STILL hardly buy white or anything light for either kid. I went through J's clothes yesterday and only dark stuff is in decent enough shape to pass on to someone else. I did buy an adorable light sleeper for a girl from Hanna yesterday though, we had a bigger size for N and we loved the pattern. Pretty sure that means it's a boy, but I have a friend due with a girl, so she can have it if I don't need it.
