We had a busy weekend. Got home late last night so I felt extra rushed this morning trying to give S a bath before school (usually do it at night but she was in dire need of a washing, lol), and trying to get myself ready while feeling exhausted.

I posted in the group about family craziness in MH's family. I am so glad my family is normal and we all get along!

Here! Just got done with drop off, kroger grocery pick up, blood draw for A, trader Joe's and a shower. Now it's basically already time for pick up.

I've been "awake" since 3:30. AF likes to give me insane night sweats as it approaches. To the point that I'm laying in a pool of sweat and then shivering if the room air hits me. It's not fun. I'm old.

So I'm up, at work, and trying to read opinions, but yeah...my head is a bit dizzy.

I’m here. Still in a lot of pain. Called my gp who can’t fit me in until tomorrow. He asked a lot of things to rule out kidney problems and than asked if I was stressed at all 🙄. I have a big day at work tomorrow, but the kids are at my in-laws tomorrow and the idea of spending the day in the tub/bed sound almost to good to be true. At least the kids are better, so that’s something!

Morning! Washing a king size down comforter is a pain in the butt. S peed in my bed yesterday when she was napping and of course it got on the duvet. I think I have been drying this thing for 7 hours now. It’s almost dry at least. Nothing really on the agenda for today. I discovered some of my tulip bulbs started emerging yesterday. It makes me so excited!

Good morning. DH left early for a work trip until Thursday night and it woke up the little boys. I have worked out, finished changing the utilities over on the beach house, paid the bills, and now I’m getting gas and running a few errands.

The next 3 days is hockey tryouts for DS1 so the other kids will be grumpy that I’m dragging them around plus gymnastics for DD.

Morning. Had a weird conversation with DH last night that I'm still mulling over. I *think* I'm reading the situation wrong but I'll talk to him more about it tonight so at least we can establish if we're on the same page or not. It's certainly got me in an odd mood though.

Work should be as crazy as ever plus I got a laptop upgrade, so I'm floundering trying to navigate. It's crazy how tech illiterate I feel when dealing with change - especially being in the tech world. I'm always paranoid that our IT folks must think I'm an idiot, though I suppose I can easily name at least a dozen people who are probably worse than me. Setting the bar high on a Monday morning, haha.

Speaking of Monday mornings, getting the boys up since we sprung forward has been awful. We let them sleep in a bit on the weekends so Mondays are especially painful. I'm hoping it'll improve over the next couple of weeks as their bodies adjust.

Chase was freakishly whiney this weekend, even for him. I'm not sure if I should hope he's sick or he's just 3. I seem to remember Colin calming down around 4 1/2, which does NOT make me feel better. LOL. I asked Chase why he's been crying at night and nap time and he told me "because you and Daddy come". I asked if he would stop crying if we didn't come and he thought for a second before saying yes. He's such a little menace! It's a good thing he's so cute.

joelies I got a new computer at work last week and I'm lost. Changing versions of Windows shouldn't be this difficult.

With our fiscal year end approaching, I'm going through a spreadsheet that is 6000 lines. I have to go through the costing line by line. My eyes already hurt.

My sister is trying to talk us into vacationing with them next spring break. I would love to, but they have a much larger vacation budget than we do. Plus, if I’m not working, Dh is already thinking we won’t do a winter vacation.

She found this amazing house on the beach in the Bahamas and wants me to talk to Dh about it so she can book it. It’s $1400 a night. We would literally triple our average vacation cost after flights, etc... sooooo i don’t think I’ll be able to sell Dh. He’ll probably just laugh in my face. Lol.

Hi hi - my neck is hurting and my headache is on day 3, which is not appreciated. I rarely get them and don't normally take anything for them, but may need to try some Tylenol soon. I just told my 2 local friends now that my parents know, so glad that's off my chest. I don't really care if people hear through word of mouth now.

We got takeout last night from the Peruvian chicken place we used to go to about weekly, and haven't been back to since November. Good Lord we have missed that. Funny there are places close to us, but we are nervous to try, for all we know they are even better..

Eek yeah hard no on that unless there are like 7 families to divide the cost! I bet it's gorgeous though! We are def going down on the vacation budget for a few years, we don't do fancy but do like to get away as much as possible..

I'm here. I've been neglecting my work with the craziness of the house. So I've been playing catch up all morning. Going to the grocery and to get lunch then to unpack more boxes. I think I'll be unpacking until the boys graduate! Lol. Most is going right in the donate bin though so that's good.

It's just rotisserie, but seasoned well and then rice and beans, a corn pico side, and tasty sauces. We only get the pink sauce which is probably mayo and something mixed in it, but has a hint of heat to it. Just a relatively healthy meal that's cheap and both kids goggle up. They have lots of other sides but we are creatures of habit..

I’m hoping my sister just doesn’t realize that. When you pull it up on VRBO it says average $750 but then when you put in the dates it shoots up. I told Dh about it and it was a hard no, as I assumed.

I’m sorry, I’m on day 2 of a headache too. I tried Tylenol this morning and it did nothing. I called the chiropractor and can’t get in until Wednesday. Boo.

joelies, L has been a major handful lately. We were at a play place this morning and I had to climb up the whole thing and drag her out kicking and screaming. It was delightful. She turns 3 in less than 2 weeks so I feel like she's just hearing up to unleash her inner beast.

Definitely 3. M didnt get easier until 4.5.. I cant hand J like this for another year. I'll pull my hair out. Hes unbearable about 75% of the time. And an absolute sweet heart the other 25%.

My day is a disaster. I had to go in and out of the same store 3 times (shoes, wubanb that C dropped and they charged me wrong) and now I locked myself out an hour ago walking the dog. I have my dog, C, and my phone and that’s all. DH did not put back the key we kept in the garage and neither my sister nor my parents can find the other spares. DS1 will be home in an hour with his so I’m in the backyard for now. I don’t have my car keys so I will have to walk to get the other kids. I can’t even get a ride to pick up DS’s key because I have no ID so his school won’t let me in. I will also now not have my stuff together for all the things we need to do later, C will not have a nap, and we won’t be home until after 9 later. At least DH left me with a good bottle of tequila.

Any chance you are talking about Lima’s? MHs cousin who we visited in DC a few years back got Peruvian chicken from there and it was SO Good.

Hi! Not a routine Monday for me, but I’m not complaining. I had to be in to work an hour later than normal, so I hit up the gym after dropping the boys off. It’s been slow at work, but will be busy this afternoon. M is supposed to have practice today, but there is a high chance of rain, so I didn’t even ask my friend to get him. If for some reason the weather doesn’t come, he just won’t go. We have two games this week, so I’m whatever about today.
