How far along are you? 6 weeks
Size of baby? lady bug
Symptoms: Nauseated, vivid dreams, indigestion.
Upcoming appointments: 7/6 is my first ultrasound.
Questions/concerns: spotting started today. I had it with my loss and my rainbow, so I know there is no sense worrying and I'm prone to it, but that doesn't stop me obsessing. I had really hoped that maybe I could skip that symptom this time around. Trying not to spiral, spiraling a little anyway. I haven't bothered calling my OB because it's light and brown and I know they'll just write it down and tell me to keep an eye on it. I'm going to keep track myself and hopefully the next ten days are uneventful.

Just about 10 weeks.
My husband has been readin What to Expect When You're Expecting. Apparently now the size of a prune. I'm pretty sure he'll now be keeping me updated on this lol
Still physically and mentally exhausted. Lots of nausea
No appoontments for a couple weeks
Telling both sets of parents this weekend. There's a really good chance my parents will start to cry. Which of course makes me super uncomfortable haha. I've never seen them so excited as when my brothers have announced their babies. And since I told my mom last year that there was a good chance I wasn't planning on having kids, they'll be through the roof.

How far along are you? 6 weeks 1 Day.
Size of baby? A pea, or a grain of rice.
Symptoms: Sore boobs, tired. Most of the time I don't "feel" pregnant and it makes me nervous.
Upcoming appointments:First ultrasound on Thursday-sooooo nervous! Terrified that they are going to say the pregnancy isn't viable.
Questions/concerns Should I expect to see the heartbeat at 6 weeks 4 days? From most answers I see on Google, you typically do but not 100% of the time.

I volunteer at a crisis pregnancy center, and just today we did a sono on a girl who was 6w4d exactly. We saw the heartbeat and were able to measure it. I saw DS's heartbeat around that same time, however please don't immediately freak out if you don't get to see it! Sometimes it's late implantation or baby is nestled in a corner and it might not be detectable. That doesn't necessarily mean it's not there or isn't going to be a viable pregnancy!!

I had spotting too at 4&6 weeks and it's was nothing. pinkcat I would just not to expect to hear a heartbeat and if you do you'll be surprised! 😊 teraiin it's sooo strange to me for the dr not use at least use Doppler especially this early on. Hugs I would have been pissed. ETA: stops not spots! lol same letters, Prego brain! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They just say it's hard when the baby is so small (or babies in this case). But that doesn't mean I'm not disappointed, I was hoping I could at least get them to try. 😂

teraiin you'd think it would be easier to find with 2 in there! Lol with DS I think my first appt was around 10 weeks and they found it pretty quickly but I know each dr was its own procedures! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

pinkcat, our first one was at 6w2d and I was very surprised to see the heartbeat! I was at the RE and I wonder if their equipment is more sensitive or something though. I wasn't expecting it at that point, so I agree with pippiann....don't expect it and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Questions/concerns: Not much beyond just hoping that baby is still doing well in there and being anxious about that.

How far along? 9w1d
How big? Copying another 9 weeker - jack or pecan
Symptoms? Still nauseous but not as bad, lower abdomen is rounding a bit, trouble sleeping, new one is leg cramps
Appointments? Not this week. Old pregnant lady bloodwork drawn next week
Questions/etc? Still haven't told my family. I was going to last week after my second good scan but then I got sick. Now I feel like it's too built up. We are going to a resort with my family this weekend so I'll probably tell them as soon as we get there bc the not drinking + rounding stomach will give it away.

Questions/concerns Should I expect to see the heartbeat at 6 weeks 4 days? From most answers I see on Google, you typically do but not 100% of the time. I had my first OB appt when I was 6w1d and saw the flicker of the heartbeat and they were able to get somewhat of a measurement, but it's still so tiny at that stage. I would think at 6w4d, you'll definitely be able to see the flicker. That is if your EDD matches to when you ovulated or the date of your last period. It's hard not to be nervous, but try to breathe and stay calm. I should really listen to my own advice as I eagerly wait for my next ultrasound in two weeks.
