When is your appointment? Tuesday 11am
Type of appointment? MFM for routine growth US.
Any feels/vents/etc? I'm definitely starting to feel baby more, and getting uncomfortable. I told my dad on Saturday I'm already the same size I was when I delivered DD (at 34 weeks), and I just hit 25 weeks. I can't imagine how much bigger I'm going to get.

When is your appointment? Tomorrow morning
Type of appointment? My anatomy scan finally!
Any feels/vents/etc? I'm just excited that someone is going to be able to take a look and hopefully tell me that my baby is healthy. I've had a lot of anxiety over that this time around.

mkrupar, I feel ya'. I told DH I'm pretty sure I'm the same size I was when I delivered DS at 36 weeks. I'm ready for strangers to start asking me if I'm due next week or if I'm carrying twins. WTF.

When is your appointment? Wednesday afternoon
Type of appointment? Growth scan plus trying to complete the anatomy scan from 4 weeks ago as little miss was uncooperative. She was transverse and folded in half, I'm pretty sure she's now up and down (or down and up?) but if she's still folded up with her feet in front of her, the ultrasound tech is going to have a bad time.
Any feels/vents/etc? Just the normal anxiety but excited to see her again.

How was it? Appointment was fine. Long because of positioning they were having trouble getting pics of the heart.
She did get a nice shot of his face and it looked like he was chewing something. It was funny.
Learn anything new? Baby jumped from 48th percentile to 80th percentile, so MFM is eager to get my glucose test done. He's measuring ahead now so she wants to be sure it's not because of GD.
New feels/vents/etc? I already had concerns about baby/my size this time around. MFM assured me it was normal for me to probably be bigger with the 2nd pregnancy. She also said he could have had a growth spurt, but may level out at the next scan.
Next appointment? Next Wednesday. 3 hour glucose & regular OB check.

When is your appointment? Last night
Type of appointment? cervix check and MFM
How was it? The appointment itself was fine. Cervix is still long and everything looked good.
Learn anything new? After I finished my appt, I was at the front desk making a couple of other appts when I realized that I'm going to OC, MD 4 weeks from now Mon to Fri. I have to get shots every week. So MFM just so happens to walk out and the secretary asked him what should I do. He said I wouldn't go, you need those shots. I'm like yeah I could probably leave on the Monday instead and he goes No, I mean not go at all. I was like what??? Your high risk, what if you go into labor? I wasn't concern about it b/c last pregnancy he told me I don't have to worry about going away until 3rd tri. I guess PTL didn't really factor into my thinking when I booked the vacation.
New feels/vents/etc? Bummed I'm not going to OC.
Next appointment? 2 weeks I have my shot and a OB appt.

littleowl913, more hugs here for cancelled plans. We had a whole bunch of plans this summer but no go now that I'm mostly stuck at home and have been restricted to a 30 mile radius from the hospital.....and we happen to live just at the edge of the restriction. Sucks. 😔

How far along will you be then? I would be 26 weeks so I thought I was in the the clear but I guess you never know with my high risk complications. I still plan to take off from work some of those days and do a staycation stuff with DH and DS. So all is not lost. It just sucks that I'll be missing MD hard crabs!!

I'm finally in a good space, baby is moving like crazy, I'm just cruisin along fortunately. How was it? Boring, luckily! Learn anything new? That I can take Tums AND pepcid together. Fuck you, heartburn. New feels/vents/etc? Just grumpy that I have to do another GTT (just one hour, phew) in a couple weeks even though I passed it earlier. Also salty that the hospital I'm delivering at is now baby or...breastfeeding....or...something? Friendly? So apparently they nursery is only if you're getting some sort of medical treatment, etc. I was like, so I can't just send him to the nursery for a couple hours to sleep??? The midwife was like...wellllll, maybe. It's the same place I delivered DS and while he did room-in with us, I definitely remember asking them to take him for a fee hours at the same time H left for a few to take care of some things at home. Sleep was so glorious. Next appointment? 3 weeks. Regular midwife check. I have another hematologist appointment next week though so hopefully my platelets haven't dropped too much. We'll see.

thechickencoop oh yes - the baby friendly hospital designation. A lot of the ones near me are going to that. Thankfully mine is not. I didn't send DD very much because new mom and endorphin high and whatnot. Im already planning to send this one during the times H goes home and whatnot so I can get come glorious sleep.

How was it? good!
Learn anything new? measuring a week ahead. I got the sugary, syrupy drink for next appointment. I like sweet but I don't think I will like that.
New feels/vents/etc? nothing in particular.
Next appointment? next month.

thechickencoop, I don't know the joy of sending the LO to the nursery. Our hospital was room-in with DD and we didn't get a break. Although, with all the nurses coming in every 20 minutes to check on you, I'm not sure I would have napped anyway.

Although, with all the nurses coming in every 20 minutes to check on you, I'm not sure I would have napped anyway. This! With the constant checks between DS and I, I got absolutely no rest. Our hospital is also BF friendly so didn't even have a nursery but on 4th night upon my sister's advice, I asked a nurse to take DS for a couple of hours or if he cried to bring him in and wake me up and they did take him. I did get a little bit of much needed rest so that was nice. SaveSave

Oops I never updated after my appointment!
It was fine, baby girl is heads down now and they could get all the measurements they needed. She is 1.5 pounds already! At one point she grabbed her foot and was playing with it, it was cute. And DH got to feel her move from the outside for the first time so that was cool. She was very active. Last night in the tub she was making the water move. This one is going to be a handful.
Our hospital is so-called baby/BF friendly too except that it's impossible to get a lactation consultant to come see you and when they do, you get all of 5 mins with them. What sense does that make? So this time around I'm bringing my own with me.

New feels/vents/etc? Just one more 4 week stretch until I can start going every two weeks with an u/s every 4. Also scheduled my Rhogam and Glucose.
Next appointment? July 28
