Morning! Happy St. Paddy’s Day!
I have a lot of in house organizing today, and I’d like to try and put another paint coat on a piece of furniture. Slowest project, ever!

@ladeedah we told my SIL Friday and the other SIL and FIL yesterday. Everyone was shocked but excited. I may try to FaceTime with my sis later today and maybe tell my parents next weekend in person. Funny how before my mom's fall I'd be telling her first and now my sis is #1 for all information. My mom asks so many inane questions, it drives me nuts.

Dd woke up with a high fever, but after some paracetamol, a bit of warm milk and plenty of songs, she went down to sleep and slept till 6. She seems a little better today . Oh and small personal victory; after six years I fit in to my wedding gown again. My boobs migrated 4inches south, oh well...

Nothing much today, H is going to go inspect our company box truck, I need to finish laundry and do some cleaning. Probably spend more time outside since it's so nice finally!

Dh is leaving for a work trip later this morning. I’m taking C to Dave and Busters and the mall. Should be a fun day.

I weighed myself this morning and I’ve lost 3 of the 6lbs I gained on that medication. I feel a lot better about it and asked Dh to hide the scale so I can stop obsessing.

Well, our rescheduled trip to my mom's was cancelled again. She had some dental work done the other day and as soon as the numbing wore off her entire face started itching, including her gums. She's off to urgent care today because now even her ears are swollen.
Now I need to figure out what Cadence and I can do today.

Yes. The worst of it was on Thursday, and by Friday the river dropped 2 feet. Our neighborhood is fine, but parts of the city got slammed. Unfortunately a few hours south in SD and NE got really bad flooding. It’s warming up slowly now so the snow melting shouldn’t cause any more issues here.

Happy St. Paddy’s Day! We did most of our celebrating yesterday. I am at work, which means I am wearing my required dress code but I do have green nails! Last night we went to our friend’s house after the parade for supper. They said it was a last hurrah party because they are moving out of their house soon and selling it. Turns out that was a ruse to get us all over there so they could announce they are pregnant with their 5th kid! I totally didn’t see it coming, because the last time we talked about it she said she wanted to wait a while and have a bigger gap.

After I get off work this afternoon I plan to just hang around the house.

Morning! Our date night last night was super fun and the circ de sole show was amazing! Also we sat next to this sweet old man and we’re chatting with him and he asked if I went to ASU, so that made my night! 😂😂

I put our garage sale stuff out again. Honestly, I want to do this every weekend! I’m sitting out her in the gorgeous weather, reading a book, no kids and Shaun keeps bringing me mimosas! I’m living my best life!

DD is back at the far gym this morning for a special training with a former Olympic coach. I took the little boys grocery shopping. DS just finished his last game and they are heading home from the tournament. They lost the first 3 games but won today and he had 2 goals today. I’m going to St. Patrick’s Day party at a friend’s house later. Not sure who is coming with me, DH and DS will both be in rough shape when they get back, one from hockey and the hotel pool and the other from the hotel bar.

Morning. My SIL and I went to Barre3, she needed a break from solo parenting. She had never been to Barre and thought it was a dance class and was a little nervous...I'm trying to imagine if I took her to a Zumba class😂. She enjoyed it thankfully. Then we got green donuts for the kids and now they are packing up for the airport. I just overate and feel gross and am now parked on the couch.

We came back and got lunch and naps. I'm about to go paint some doors so we can put hooks on the backs of them later. As we unpack I'm finding all the random crap I bought over the last 2.5 years when I would catch a deal. So we have 4 shower curtain liners (only need 1), a dozen pot holders, 4 packs of night lights, and a lot of bins and baskets. 🤷‍♀️ so much crap. My goodwill pile is huge.

Squeezed Cadence I to her outfit from last year. She said next time she wants a skirt.
Here we are at Target looking at Easter things.

We went to Target to get Cadence her prize for filling her bead jar. She got a Barbie pool for the bathtub.
Then, got some sandwiches and ate at the park, went on a 2 mile walk on the new paths at the park, then Cadence made a friend there. They were putting rocks on the slide to slide through.

Any good light appitizer ideas? We are going to my sister's for BIL's 30th on Sat.. we're going out to a nice Italian place, so we don't want to totally fill up before. BIL doesn't like cheese so trying to avoid that. There's the obvious veggies/dip, chips and salsa, but I'd like to actually cook something.
