wedding, this was posted in my town’s local Facebook group. This dad built these for his kids, and it made me think how some of our N13 daredevils (namely C) would how like something like this in their basements. He said aside from the time it took to install everything, the cost was only 350 for materials!

Morning. It’s nice outside, the sun is shining and the snow is melting!
We’re putzing around the house planning all of our spring organization projects. There’s a community garage sale on june 8th so that’s the goal to have the shed bought and built, army shit out of this house to MH’s new posting, J’s new big girl room with a new bed, (GOODBYE CRIB!), summer stuff set up and storage area all cleaned up which includes a new filing system for all our paper shit.
Gawd, organizing is my foreplay.

I’m bummed today. MH flight was cancelled and the only other flight he could get on just didn’t make sense so he’s not coming home. I’m just so thankful we did not tell S bc he would have been devastated I’m sorry, jewels. I’d be disappointed,too. Do you have something fun planned to take your mind off of it? No we hadn’t made any plans since we thought he was coming home. A local bar does a festival today for st Patrick’s day so we might go there after nap but it’s pretty chilly out |

Morning. My SIl and 3 year old nephew is here. I forgot about age 3🤪. I posted some furniture on a Facebook yard sale group for free and someone already picked up the table and chairs! I think I'll call the junk truck tomorrow for what's left and just pay to get it out.
My state has school starting after labor day bc of our governor made an executive order based on the interests of the beach town to extend summer. The state Senate just overrode it thankfully since school districts should get to decide...and for all the parents that need to pay for childcare for that extra week or two. I'm not sure if it'll take effect this year, but I would love for it to.

Our flight took off about 2 hours late last night so we finally got home around 3am. But I woke up at 6:30 when Colin woke up and that was it for me. I got the boys breakfast and took them and my Mom to the trampoline park to let DH sleep a couple more hours, then we came home to play outside for about an hour and a half - it's practically spring out there. Now we're trying to decide how to celebrate birthdays tonight since my parents hit the road tomorrow.

The kids have a six week summer break around July/August. Besides that they have a week mid October, two weeks around Christmas/New Year, a week at the end of February and two weeks end of April/early May.

xolastunicornxo how random about the Cal ripkin day. Mh says there's a baseball league and organization named after him, but funny to see his name out there. Fun fact, he looked at my dad's house to buy a few years ago. My nephew dog is named ripkin, so def a household name here!

Cadence is having a private swim lesson today, which is nice. The other little girl is here, but sick, so she isn't swimming. She had to come for her sister's lesson.

Happy st paddy’s weekend! We are on our way downtown to the parade. I went to my BFF’s house last night and ended up staying there talking until 3:30am.

Morning. Target and grocery store planned for today. I’m making corn beef and cabbage tomorrow for C and LO. Even though I’m Irish on my dad’s side, I’m not a fan of it. Lo’s school is doing their St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Monday. How bad would it be if I took LO out of school on 3/29 and took him to see the new Dumbo? Take him and enjoy the special time together without E. |

Gorgeous day here. We went to the St. Patrick's day parade and E caught a wig from the costume shop and a ton of candy and beads

My dad looks horrible. His Bell’s palsy still hasn’t cleared up and they think he’ll need surgery. He’s using a cane, thank god, because his walking isn’t great.

I’m bummed about the visit, but we FaceTimed MH earlier from the job site and he was fighting back tears the whole time. I struggle so much when he’s gone but I often forget how hard it must be for him. This is the longest he’s been gone without a break since we’ve had kids. I literally can’t imagine being away from them this long (it’s been 5 weeks so far)
