Thanks duskymonkey. I'm not sure if baby loved or hated the salmon I was eating for lunch but he was kicking nonstop! Also, I obviously do not know what BH is b/c I thought I was having them while I was actually in labor lol.

Happy (?) Monday. We had a crazy busy weekend again. Baby showers, baseball games and concerts. I'm sitting on cougarette's bench. I'm kinda glad it's Monday. August Blooms, we just went through 2 weeks of the 2-year sleep regression. How old is your DD?

Calling all anterior placenta mamas!!!
I feel movement but not consistently. I was watching my belly move today but it's still muted. When do I start to worry?

littleowl913 Fx your MIL has a speedy recovery! cougarette Sorry for your rough weekend, hugs. August Blooms No advice, just hugs and hair pats. Hopefully this passes soon. AFM We had a pretty quiet weekend, which was nice. It was a little chilly, but I was able to get outside with DS quite a bit. Other than that, nothing super exciting to report. Just getting ready for DS's 2nd birthday party this Sunday, and trying not to get all emotional about it. He's just growing so fast!

I also have anterior placenta but am feeling a good amount of movement. Mostly on one side. Although, I don't know what posterior placenta movement feels like. Sorry I'm no help!!

I feel movement but only on my right side, and not all day, just when laying down or not active. I also feel it really low.

The movement has been kind of all over that lower right quadrant I guess. I totally feel your worries though. I hope you start feeling more consistent movement soon. And it definitely wouldn't hurt to ask the nurse or dr.

mkrupar & chitownsully She just turned 2 in April. Hopefully this is some sort of regression and she goes back to her usual routine.

I don't *THINK* I had any BH last time, so I have no basis for comparison, but MAYBE I've been having them lately? I've had some light/mild uterine tightening. Is that them? Can you describe? Mine feel like a tightening in my lower abdomen. They're not painful, but feel like squeezing. I had a bunch one evening so I chugged water and relaxed and they went away. Thanks! I've been feeling this too!

Calling all anterior placenta mamas!!! I feel movement but not consistently. I was watching my belly move today but it's still muted. When do I start to worry? My doctor told me not to start doing kick counts until 28 weeks and to only worry if I felt nothing for 24 hours. I still can't see anything from the outside, but I'm feeling a decent amount inside. Muted is still something. If you're concerned call your doctor- anything for peace of mind.

I forgot to mention...while H and I were both out of town over the weekend, FedEx delivered the baby's dresser. We have a covered carport and a covered porch, and the delivery person left it in the middle of the yard...and it rained all weekend. We came home to what we thought was a ruined dresser, but fortunately it looks like it's salvageable. But seriously how annoying is it that the driver couldn't walk two more feet so the package would be covered?
Should I have saved this for WTF Wednesday?

Re: anterior placenta/movement (chitownsully)
Also, I have to remind myself that baby is sleeping in there for like 14 hours a day and a lot of their movement occurs while we are sleeping. So if you just feel something every few hours during the day, it's pretty normal.

I'm feeling movement all around, but definitely more low and high than centered. I figure that's where my placenta is lying so I feel movement less there. You probably won't feel much movement when you're active because your movements lull baby to sleep. When you're not moving around, baby moves more.

I also have an anterior placenta and I mainly feel movement when I've been resting for a while and it's kinda on the side/bottom. He's definitely more active at night/first thing in the morning. I'll be 23w Friday and I'm not super worried about movement yet. I never really did kick counts with DD unless I hadn't felt her for a while and that's when I had some cold water and laid down.
Took DD to daycare this morning and then I went to the gym. It had been about 2 weeks since I'd worked out and I could definitely tell. Sequel is making it hard to do things but I'm trying to stay moving.

We honestly just KOKO with our routine and she eventually settles down. There's been a night or two recently I've had to go in and settle her down, but for the most part she's been ok.

DD decided to only take a 45 minute nap so we went into my school to visit with my former teaching partner who was working in her room. We ended up staying and playing there for over 4 hours! She loves DD and let's DD draw all over her boards and chart paper. It was so good to catch up with her and have an in-person conversation with someone other than my husband. Rural living, while it has its perks, can be isolating at times and summer especially so for me.

chitownsully I also have an anterior placenta (wow there are a lot of us!) and had one last time too! My OB said that once you start really feeling baby but prior to 28 weeks, you should look for movement at least once in 24 hours. Then at 28 weeks you start the kick counting/becoming more aware of baby's sleep/wake patterns. Not going to lie, the AP caused many a panic last time. RE: Braxton Hicks--I think I've had a few since about 20 weeks. Had them last time too. Weird tightening that doesn't hurt but just feels harder than usual for 20-30 seconds.

DS has just mastered climbing out of his pack and play. Unfortunately, that is his bed for now, so that in connection with his new hated for bedtime is rough going for us. I miss sleep.

Taitai, the stretch marks on my tummy are from DS. After he was born they were barely noticeable. I only realized I had stretch marks when I was in a store dressing room with those harsh lights. But now they're really red and bumpy. I tell DS look what you did to mommy! He responds by poking my belly button. Bahahaha...so funny! (Not the stretch marks, but your DS' reaction to them). I'm going to have to teach DS something similar!

arimaythea Happy V-day, Yay! thatgirlrachel That is not cool that FedEx did that. I would seriously complain to FedEx. You never know if water got in the wood, which can cause damage and warped drawers. Seriously, I would complain. They are not supposed to leave things in the middle of your yard, esp if there are covered options available.

thatgirlrachel, LT for the dresser but not for the common senseless FDX dude! Who leaves a package in the middle of the lawn? Like a PP said even though nothing seemed damaged I would still report in case you do find damage upon assembly.

It looks like the only option I have is to file a "claim" online, so I'm going to try to call customer service later today. I was hoping they'd have a nifty chat feature online, but no such luck.

Hey! Still trying to play catch up (hence the late reply!) but it was great! Despite the heat, we had a blast--great food, great shows, and a great time playing slots! We also got DD a souvenir shirt that says "Potty like a rockstar."
