grover, I'm sorry about your OB's shitty reaction. You've done amazing with keeping those twins cooking past 37 weeks! I also know how uncomfortable it is. Sometimes I look at the babies and can't believe that much baby all fit inside me. Hang in there. I hope they move your delivery date to when it works best for you and your fam.

Thank you Yogurt, Wicket, and bex15! Do yβall think this is prodromal labor? Iβve been reading online about it, and it might be but might not. I donβt know lol...Iβm a first timer!

orangehibiscus good luck hopefully it is the real deal. photomama2013 that makes so much sense I was having timable somewhat uncomforable contractions all afternoon. But they still felt like BH. The amount of BH I am having this third pregnancy is insane.

Thanks yβall! I had regular contractions for 7 hours yesterday, but they seem to have really slowed down overnight. Iβve had a few contractions this morning, but not like yesterday.

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 33+5, April 25
Baby is the size of a: junior tennis racquet
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: pink
Appointments: next Friday, regular OB
Symptoms: spd, my geographic tongue is at a whole new level, lots of braxton hicks
Milestones: only got up to pee once last night
Rants/Raves/Vents: We had a huge meal prep day this past weekend, I now have 33 meals in my freezer. I'm going to make a batch of mac and cheese, but other than that feel prepared on the food front. Just need to get my house super clean and I'll be ready for this baby to come. Still need to figure out how to keep my house super clean???
QOTD: what do you drive, and is it a PITA with your car seats? I drive a subaru outback, it's good with the carseats (FF britax boulevard and chicco keyfit) but I don't think I'd be able to fit a person in the middle between them. I like that it has a good amount of cargo space too. My H drives a honda accord and while it will be fine with the carseats, I want to upgrade him to a 3rd row SUV just for the extra space... he is rebelling. We will see once this baby comes.

I'm so impressed loorin! I'm planning a big Sam's Club shopping trip this weekend but I don't think I'll be able to make that many meals, where did you get your recipes?? Care to share any?

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 2 weeks today
Baby is the size of a: he was 7lb 13 oz on Thursday. He was born at 8lb 12oz, so hes lost just about a pound. Hopefully we are on the upswing.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Green turned blue
Appointments: Thursday with the midwives for both of us.
Symptoms: Hemorrhoids! Horrible awful things
Milestones: 2 weeks on the outside!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Both the midwives and the lactation consultant said by this Thursday they need T to have gained at least 4 oz. I have a WAY over production of milk so they think he might be getting a foremilk/hind milk imbalance, so hes getting all the front stuff but not the fatty stuff.
QOTD: what do you drive, and is it a PITA with your car seats? Honda Odyssey and I love that thing! We took out the middle row middle seat and have captains chairs and then a bench in the way back. DS2 behind driver, DS3 behind passenger and ds1 in the way back.

photomama2013 that is the set up we have in our odyssey and I would rather dd2 in the middle as she needs some help getting in and out sometimes but she is all about being like her big sister. We will see how it goes I guess. I hope your little one starts gaining more!

orangehibiscus, @ges072115, I got these foil pans from amazon, since it's just me, my H, and my 3 year old (who may or may not eat what we are eating). We wanted to be cautious about not having a whole pan of something to eat over a week's time. So we divided up the recipes into the smaller pans. We also got some plastic containers that are a similar size for items that could be heated easily in a microwave vs. an oven. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074QF12X5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1I have not eaten all of these before, but they looked like the kind of stuff we like, so we just went for it. We made baked ziti, chicken and beef enchiladas, chicken/veg/pasta casserole, pesto chicken w/penne, ham/potato/broccoli casserole, twice baked potatoes, chicken tetrazzini, cooked up some extra meat - i think i'm forgetting something. Let me know if you want a specific recipe. But, I mostly used the allrecipes website, looked for casserole type meals. I liked that you can add the ingredients to a shopping list. I tried the crockpot freezer bag meals before and wasn't really pleased with how they turned out. Also - I've used a service called Dream Dinners before and they make it super easy to prep a whole bunch of freezer meals at once or you can pay them an extra $20 to prep them all for you. It's a chain, but I know it's not everywhere. The meals do take more assembly time than what I was looking for right now.

loorin please tell me if you figure out a way to keep your house clean let me know! also i have made crockpot freezer bag meals before and didnt love them and they were really small. I was much more picky about what i made this time. But i think I may have 10 meals..... I am so impressed with 33 meals. I am pretty sure not much else will get done for me. But I may try to make an extra large batch of chicken soup this weekend and maybe some egg breakfast stuff, if i am feeling good.

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: Twins are 1 week and 1 day old!
Baby is the size of a: on the upswing back towards birthweight! At the pediatrician's yesterday, they were 6lb 15.5 oz and 6lb 12.5 oz. We are continuing to nurse and do pumped milk in bottles. So far so good. The only way I can tandem right now is with nipple shields though. It's easier to latch them with them on. I'm a little worried about weaning off shields but it's working for now. We do bottles at night and I pump to get more sleep. Otherwise they'll nurse for like an hour.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM/TTM
Team: Two identical boys ππ
Appointments: Next Monday is my 2 week incision check at OB, and then the Weds after is the twin's 2 week check.
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good, except when I move around too much.
Milestones: Made it a week!
Rants/Raves/Vents: People have brought us so much food, it is sooo nice!
QOTD: what do you drive, and is it a PITA with your car seats? We have a Lincoln hybrid mkz and 2 infant seats fit in the middle and behind the passenger. Our daughter's in a high back booster behind the driver. It's super tight but it works! Luckily we don't drive much, we can walk to a lot.

Lol pretty sure Iβm fighting a losing battle with the house especially with adding another human to the fam. 10 meals is awesome - I really made huge batches of stuff and divided it up into smaller containers. Itβs not like I made 33 separate recipes.

pambee & Yogurt they are so adorable. I canβt wait for newborn pictures! Trying to schedule that now. Yogurt I feel you on not wanting to go back to work ever. Itβs not an option for me right now but was so hard with DD and Iβm sure Iβll feel that way this time too! I would stay home with the kids if I could. Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 34+5, 4/18 Baby is the size of a: no idea this week FTM/STM/TTM/etc: stm Team: blue Appointments: next Friday with ultrasound. Iβm so excited to see him itβs been so long! Symptoms: acid reflux, insomnia, GD, BH, baby parts in my ribs Milestones: another week Rants/Raves/Vents: my GD has been harder to manage with diet than with my DD and my doctor said if my numbers arenβt more under control this week Iβll have to go on medication. Itβs so stressful figuring out what to eat and I feel like I canβt eat anything I like. QOTD: what do you drive, and is it a PITA with your car seats? Honda Accord. I donβt know if it is a PITA or out car seat is but we have DD in britax convertible in the middle now and it blocks one of the other seatbelts. It was fine with bucket seat. Iβm nervous about putting two in the back.

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: one month old!
Baby is the size of a: when I use my bathroom scale, heβs almost up to 10 lbs. birthweight was 8.4.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Blue
Appointments: next week I have a bunch
Symptoms: still low stamina for long outings but otherwise feel back to normal
Milestones: my bleeding is finally letting up, now expecting my usual 6 weeks pp period ππ»ππ»ππ» even when I was exclusively BF I would get it right away, rude!
Rants/Raves/Vents: we have had Norovirus, so we are just barely alive right now. But it sure does make you appreciate being in good health?
QOTD: what do you drive, and is it a PITA with your car seats?
We drive a Honda Fit with 3 across and a doodle in the back! And MH is 6β4β. Would I recommend it, absolutely not lol, but itβs the car we have and it works. We have two FF dionos and a Britax bucket.

Ugh, sorry about the sickness Tlex! snickerdoodle, I feel you on the insomnia, girlfriend. I literally haven't slept in days. I stopped using my belly support pillow because when I actually fell asleep, I'd wake up with an insane all over butt pain (like maybe my spine is twisting weird?) Rolling over feels like a loose bowling ball is just crushing each one of my organs individually. Last night I tried to sleep basically sitting up, but nada. I am so. damn. tired. I don't know how y'all with older kids are managing life.

So 2- to a million wake up a night again will be an adjustment. This kid is totally gonna give me 7 -8 hour stretches consistently by 8 weeks π€£π€£π€£

A was born 3/23 of 2017, and started sleeping 9 hours straight over mothers day weekend! Still sleeps great as an almost 2 year old, and her transition to her toddler bed was amazing. Which of course, means these twins will not be unicorns like their sister. LOL

lemondrop. I remember hearing that when moms sleep you can get into the deep restful sleep faster so even if it's broken chunks your body can sort of compensate.
