Too sweet jewels ! Glad your h can come home this weekend! flamingo ugh I'd be annoyed too! I bet she's horrified. haha, yes, she was. I just heard back and she's getting a new one in the mail to me this week. I don't need it til April so it's fine. I had another Etsy order last fall with some issues and the vendor was really difficult/not apologetic (and it was her mistake), so I think I was subconsciously ready for a fight. Glad that won't be necessary

slenle I love the table! We have a bench at our kitchen and dining table and I love it for the kids! Also nice when they have friends over and you need to squeeze everyone in! Good morning! No DST for us, thank goodness! Lucas has spring break this week, but otherwise SSDD. We’re going to head to the gym soon, I need to hit target, and then I need to clean. Landon is doing battle of the books and is almost through his first book, so I need to speed read it today so I can start quizzing him and then start on the next one.

Dragging over here. I was extra snappy with the kids. N has started saying 'NO WAY' when she means no thank you🙄.
Have our 12 week appt and tentatively scheduled to get kids early and get j a haircut and 5 guys and maybe tell the kids. Why am I nervous?! ETA: nervous to tell kids/family, not appt exactly.

Hi!
Had to take P to urgent care on Saturday morning because she couldn’t keep down her ABX. So they did Rocephin injections and Zofran, now she’s much happier.
X man got a haircut and let them do all of it, not just his bangs! Plenty of sobbing and breaks were involved, but I think that makes three vomit free haircuts now. Very encouraging.
We went out with some friends for Pete’s birthday Saturday night and my BFFand his wife informed me that they are 95% sure they are moving to CO st the end of Summer. I’m super bummed about it.

Charlie got up at seven, but Josie slept until 740. What do you guys do for quick breakfasts when you’re in a time crunch? Both kids are faster eaters than they used to be, but it’s still time consuming. For quick stuff, I keep frozen waffles and sausage/chicken biscuits, since they can be popped in the toaster or microwave and hand-held in a pinch. Cheese toast is another good one, just a couple minutes under the broiler and then I cut into quarters. Bradley likes hot breakfasts in the morning...eggs, grits, & toast/English muffin, or pancakes and bacon. Very rarely does he let me skate with a bowl of cereal or whatnot. Bless her, C usually just wants toast or a banana (thank you, easy child).

That sounds like us. Most of our breakfast choices are pancakes, eggs, toast with peanut butter and bananas or cream cheese and berries, sausage links, or grilled cheese. I like to serve most of those things with some kind of fruit on the side. I always have time to make it, but it’s at least 15 minutes to sit and eat. Maybe Lara bars, a banana, and some cubed cheese will work out as more hand held options.

guster just do like the Dutch do, sandwich with cheese/peanut butter/ham/hagelslag & a glass of milk. I think 90% of kids/adults eat a breakfast like that over here 🤷🏼♀️. Eta not combined of course 😉.

klong11 I'm spiraling on uniforms. Where do you get C's? I think you mentioned Primary at one point. Are the ones from Children Place crappy? What about target? Gap is having a sale on some of their polos right now.

Not great quality but not the worst. And bonus if you have a Children's Place outlet near you, it's super cheap.

Would they last me a whole year or would they need to be replaced after several washings?

If so, then go with French Toast. Check their site for sales too.

I can barely get C to eat an applesauce pouch or a few bites of bar before school. I have no clue how he isn't starving when I pick him up at 11 (no snack time).

I don't think they have to be collared. Dresses & bottoms can be khaki, navy blue, black or denim.

tgrimes also re Children's Place, if they are cheap buy them. Some of Cadence's are hand me downs from other kids and they've held up really well. Others, she has a "creative" day and some of the paint and marker just don't come out, so they have to be taken out of rotation.

tgrimes , what size is she wearing? I know I have a bunch of skirts Cadence never wore and some dresses too. She's done with them in May and I know she won't touch them by then.

I definitely don't know about their dresses... and as to the whole year, probably not if you are washing them every week. I got the boys khakis that they don't wear that often.

C wore his new Cat and Jack medium joggers today and they are pretty big. Not falling down but close. I think we need to Nix Cat and Jack while he’s between sizes. I think he just needs a solid 7 and in joggers they have small, medium and large. At least I got them on clearance.

So for all of you who have the "huskier" kids, what brands do you recommend for the littles? I can't really find any jeans for B. He's pretty solidly in 2T, some 3T, but he's very thick in the butt and thighs (sorry kid) and I've only been able to find sweats to fit him. I'm looking for jeans or pants and I can't get any pants or jeans all the way up.

Hi! jewels The action figure thing is adorable! Hope it all works out and they can spend some time next weekend. slenle that table looks a lot like mine but different color and no bench. I like it! Wish I did have a branch cuz my kids refuse to sit still at the table, too. wedding Hope the adjustment period is over soon. cagoldi Glad P is doing better now.

Hi!
It’s been a weird morning. We’re slow at work but I feel like I’ve been busy. More looking at house stuff/insurance and shopping. I have a cart full at gap. Mostly for M. I really don’t need a lot more for him, but most of it will be for him to start K in.

I tried to do this a few weeks ago when Old Navy was having a sale, but I really don’t know what size Josie will be in so I have a surplus of shirts, and really no bottoms or sweaters. Charlie was a little bit easier, but in the opposite way. Plenty of pants, but I think his 3 T-shirts will be a little large for him still

I think it was the 505 style that I liked the best but there are others. Sadly the Levis don't seem to fit him well anymore, which is a shame b/c they were a great price point.
